Here's an opportunity for you Texans to be heard. I hope you will respond to Mr. Wische as this is the sort of opportunity that moves us forward in terms of media publicity and recognition of our disease. Trisha Springstead received the following email from Mr. Wische. "Wische, Aaron M" <amwische@ktvt.com> wrote: Trisha- I am a television journalist in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and I’ve seen several stories you’ve done with other TV stations about the body bug issue. I’m wondering if you know of anyone in North Texas, or Texas in general who might be suffering with this issue. I think the topic is fascinating. I found the Dallas Observer article from July 2006. But if you know additional people, I’d love to know. Please feel free to call or email. Thank you! Aaron Wische Executive Producer, Special Projects CBS 11 - Dallas-Ft. Worth (214) 245-5623 (direct) (202) 246-6830 (cell) www.cbs11tv.com

Thanks for contacting him. Notice he's with CBS which could lead to even more network coverage.
I know the weekend is not the best time to post any sort of announcement because people get busy with family and friends, but I so believe this is a great opportunity for anyone in Texas willing to pour out their heart.
Go for it and thank you.

Dear Ramonehormone,
I guess you're the only LB-Texan-Poster willing to come forward at this time, but I've heard from other Texans who don't visit message boards and they're very willing to speak and be heard.
I wonder if it's the bug issue that's keeping you folks away.
Maybe some of you have chosen to contact Mr. Wische, but prefer not to discuss it on a message board.
Obviously some of us have had real "critters" and others have not.
Bottom line is you can call the disease anything you wish, but no matter what you call it the symptoms remain the same.

Thanks to all. I so hope others will respond since Texas is among the top three states for numbers of households reporting these symptoms.
By the way, the top three states have always been Texas, Florida and California, from the time the NPA began their reporting registry which was more than ten years ago.
Thanks for the responses!

I thought he was interested in the Dallas-Ft. worth area and all of Texas.
Maybe he's received lots of calls or emails from DFW area.
Anyway, am sure it will be more good media coverage.
