really great coverage on this. "even if i would see it with my own eyes, i would not believe it". that statement should get that guy fired, ,,let a pc do his job!
WHAT MORE WILL IT TAKE? AN AUDIENCE BEFORE CONGRESS?
within that site is this, also.......... Meth Addicts Demand Government Address Nation's Growing Spider Menace
i have not heard of the spider thing, (other than my own body
puts out a few tiny flesh colored spiders every now and then).
i've always entertained the thought of innoculated street drugs.
the "meth bug" propaganda appears to be planned and played out to see how this experiment would play out in a "delusional" population a population easily discredited.
because of all the incredible advanced nano technology happening
today, they have to have a system in place to denature that which
is produced? i envision software that emits signals of turn on and off
of this technology.

Thanks Kmarie. Boy aren't we mopped into a neat little corner with this. Firstly you catch this somehow. Then you rack your brains to figure it out. Then Ahhh relief...you find what you have while searching online. It's Morgellon's. What a relief...what a breakthrough you tell yourself. So you go to your family physician thinking that "okay if this is a recognized condition, then this should be a piece of cake" treatment and then out. On with life. Then the DOP b.s. begins. Then the more you argue againt it and defensive you become the more convinced they are that their conclusions were accurate. The STIGMA is already in place. After reading this article..it is also evident that even bringing in a loved one to cooberate will NOT help a lick!! So we go off disgruntled. Self esteem smashed against the rocks....and STILL SICK.
This is a very circular pattern that has set up and is playing out over and over again. It is becoming VERY clear to me that the only thing that is going to change this is with attorneys. Perhaps taking an attorney to the physician's appointment with you. Seems the only route. Civil Rights attorney? Not sure. This will have to go all the way to the Supreme Court. Someone with MONEY and STAMINA and NOTHING TO LOSE in the face of adversity of GIGANTIC proportion is the only one who will change this!!!
I am praying for that angel.....our angel of hope.

K-Marie- Thanks for the Body Bugs 2 video link. The news coverage was was fair minded and recored and reported truth as it emerged.
REACTION TO IGNORANT MEDICAL ARTICLES
I got sick at my stomach and couldn't finish the pseudo medical write-ups also included on the page. THEY CERTAINLY DIDN'T DESERVE THE SPACE. Even though I am significantly better than 2 years ago, I still remember the TORTURE of the symptoms --and particularly CRAWLING.
I don't IMAGINE I had crawling, I KNOW I had crawling. I know when I sneeze, I know when I cough. I know when I have a headache. I KNOW--not imagine--when I have crawling. I appologize to no one for this TRUTH.
There is not a Shadow of a doubt that I know what I felt on my own body. There is not a Shadow of a doubt that I was, or am imagining symptoms I experienced. I could photograph the rash on my torso; I could not photograph the crawling. Yet I experienced both of these symptoms.
There is not a Shadow of a doubt that I DID HAVE pathogens in my body. I have documentation of protozoans, metazoans as well as fungals and bacteria. My blood showed a variety of pleomorphic forms. In addition, I have tested positive for Lyme two years in a row.
I am wondering about the moral and professional ETHICS (not to mention common sense) of doctors who persist in IGNORANCE and even try ( as of recently )to LABEL family members who LEND SUPPORT. Are these doctors accepting pay under the table to parrot such idiotic lines of thinking? THEY ARE TRULY A DISGRACE TO THE MEDICAL PROFESSION and rightly deserve a place in NMO Hall of Shame.
All of you know these truths. I should actually be writing this response to the doctors and the AMA who need the enlightenment. I get the feeling they are practicing medicine withoout a PATIENT. Betsy

Hey Kmarie,
I'm the person at the receiving end of those words.
What that doctor said to me word-for-word was, "if I see any bugs or insect parts coming out of her, even if I saw it with my own eyes, I still would not believe it because that would be a medical impossibility".
This was said to me (in the presence of my wife, the patient) by Dr George W Elgart MD, one of the chief dermatologists from the University of Miami's Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. This happened at their main office on February 19, 2007 at around 11:00 AM.
Those are not words I'm likely to forget anytime soon.
During the office visit I tried to show him photos I've taken of the arthropods that have come out of Kathy. He would not look at them. Kathy showed him three areas on her body that had dermatological problems: He would not examine her skin, or the rashes on her arms and neck. (1) swollen part of her index finger where she had been bitten by a tick, (2) swollen lymph gland under her neck that might have possibly been caused by oozing sores behind her ear, and (3) an area in her hand that had a small raised bump and a U-shaped indentation.
He did not examine any of these areas. How could he, he was standing about six feet away from her with his arms crossed. He said that Kathy was neurotic, had Delusionary Parasitosis, and that she would benefit from taking antipsychotic medications.
That's when he said those words about not believing it even if he saw it with his own eyes.
And with that pronouncement, he told us he couldn't help us and therefore would not charge us for the office visit.
So, when I read that idiot Mark Hoofnagle's denialism blog it just confirms to me that these guys are not scientists.. even if this guy is a MD/PhD Candidate in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics at the University of Virginia. I can't wait until either he, or his wife, or someone he loves gets this disease. Maybe then he'll change his view. He and Dr Elgart.

jose, i was 'hatching' during my visit to a seattle derm.
i begged him to look. he refused 3 times. he also
said it wouldn't matter what he saw, only the lab
results have merit.

Ruth, You think lab results carry any more weight? HaHa. You must be delusional. Oops, sorry wrong word. But seriously, we had a dermatologist actually send samples to a local lab here in Miami. The results came back with three separate findings. 1. skin cells, 2. wood shavings (hmm? how did that get in there?) and 3. arthropod pieces. The derm-doc took one really quick glance at the report and shoved it into my wife's file without comment. I said to him, "whoa... what about those arthropod parts?" Well, you can guess his answer, which was that obviously those bug pieces must have been just contamination with the environment. After that, he never wanted to do any more skin scrapings and actually he told us we should go to a different doctor. Nice, huh?

Yep, that's pathetic.
Here's a good one for the books too.
One of my docs said my lesions were only on my front side (which they are) because I couldn't reach my back to self inflict!
He said, see...that's why they're all in the front!
Trust me, it took everything inside to not become a raging fool then.
Like I come off as some lunatic that would tear myself up like that, sometimes I think they 'want' to make us mad so we fit the "crazy" profile. Because there IS nothing that can make one more upset, than to know what every day holds for us, the horror and total torment and torture of this, and KNOW it, and LIVE it, and have someone who knows nothing...tell you it's not happening. Right O.
