Does anyone have any suggestions for what seems to be mold slime in the mouth? I've had this fora few years now, and with the abx it seems to be getting worse. I spit out gobs of it every morning - it's produced mostly in my left cheek glands. Long stringly stuff sitting in clear slime. Also I hatch out bugs from my mouth every week or so (it's so lovely, God, this is a great illness!!!) and I think they feed on the mold slime, although not sure. I've done rocephin i.v. amoxicillin and now on tetracycline. Take lots of probiotics, which I crunch open in my mouth before swallowing, which may be helping intestines but don't seem to touch this! Would difulcan help? Tried Nystatin but it did diddly - perhaps not enough, only took one pill a day. I also use cat's claw (8 caps a day), put myself back on olive leaf caps (4 a day) and am about to add grapefruit seed extract. I've dropped some other stuff just because it was all too much. I take a strong multi-B. and also am taking a whey product called immunocal. (just started that one) Works at a cellular level, I'm told.NOthing is stopping the slime though. Funny, I think I may actually have gotten THIS from my former boyfriend! Jane

I've heard others say the same thing you describe.
Try the Nystatin liquid because you can hold it in your mouth for more benefits.
Also, I suck on the salt tablets to get the salt to stay in my mouth longer. Couldn't hurt!

Jane, I know just how you feel. I hate it. It's never ending and disgusting. I rinse with hydrogen peroxide and it helps somewhat. I'm sure eating sugar makes it worse for me, but who knows since I can't seem to keep my hands off the stuff to find out. Do you ever get a spot in your mouth, (for me it's in the very back where the gum meets the tooth), that appears to be a hole? Does it bleed this junk?

A few years back the insides of my mouth would peel away a layer of white goo especially after brushing in the morning, I freaked... but eventually suspected my whitening toothpaste. Turns out buying products without plaque removers stopped the weirdness all together. Aquafresh whitening is the brand I use now. Not sure if it's related to what your speaking of but I also used to get these blood filled blisters on the insides of my cheek, my primary doctor said it was nothing to worry about (as usual, it's always his response these days) I was smoking at the time (chronic and ciggy's) so it could have been that. Havent seen one of them blisters in a long time.
Funny how I was feeling fine while smoking pot and now that I don't I use Hemp products to extract this crap off of me. Full circle?

Hi Jane,
It could be fungal (candida), especially after prolonged antiobiotic treatments which disturbs the natural balance of flora and allows it to flourish. Acidophilus (refrigerated liquid is most potent) is good to help restore balance--usually even traditional pharmacies have this on hand for children and definitely can be gotten from a health food store.
Best of luck in kicking this, Spunky

Jane, I'm a Nebie here, and just had to say, i have had that for years, it's from them being in the nasal cavities, they go in my nose constantly, and even if you could stop them, how would you breath. I have even gone as far as wearing a face breathing mask for a night one time they were so bad, i literally got mad, and left the house to go for a walk. Good luck to you. For those emailing letters to your State Reps and the Senate Reps, I just sent 3 emails out - 2 to CA Reps, and 1 to my District Rep for Fullerton. I am NOT affraid of confronting this issue, rite to their faces, and will be attending local board meetings starting this month for our people, and for our community. I told one of them in my email: "Hey, I live in a Huge apt complex, and if all these people get it, it might be your co-workers or ever yourself next, because they'll be picketing outside your offices here and in Washington". Gee - how do you think they'll respond? I wonder even if they will......Ok, gotta go, I'll check back later or tomorrow, nice to be part of the familly of infected U.S. citizens!!!!

Hi Jane.. ehhhhh You poor girl . You have been through so many antibiotics since you were diagnosed with Lyme!!! Does it ever end? ? Have you improved in any way since you first started with the Rocephrin? lI don't know what to tell you about the slime because I know over the last Year or so you have tried alot of things even gargeling with the silver. The only thing that has ever healed anything strange in my mouth and throat has been gargeling with warm salt water several times a day.... I am sure you have tried that one too..... Please hang in there.. Love ya Sondra

Brush your teeth twice a day with plain, ordinary table salt. The first few times it will hurt like hell and you will spit out so much bloody slime it will feel like you've ruptured a major artery. Also, the taste in your mouth will make you want vomit.
But, if you can get through all that - and take some vitimin C at the same time - you should see some improvement in about five to seven days.

I too have the slime and sores in my mouth. I have to agree that, at least mine, come from the nose. If I stretch the skin back on my face I can see their trails. Also from drainage in the back of the throat. About two weeks ago I started bathing and soaking in Epsom salts, it is actually drying them up. Slowly, one layer at a time. It never dawned on me to give my mouth salt rinses too. As for the sugar stuff, ween yourself off. I was never a sugar person til this started. Fruits, veggies, stuff with vinegar and very salty stuff. When I over sugared one day to the point of almost comatose for 3 days, I realized it wasnt right and began to ween myself off the sugar. It was difficult at first, would get incredibly nauseous, but little by little I have got myself back to a somewhat normal sugar intake. I cant cut it out completely because of low blood sugar. But I try to get it from other foods than pure sugar. I have also been increasing my salt. Didnt know there was such a thing as salt tabs. Any way, cuting out the sugar, even by half, you will notice a difference. Ween yourself. One time buy a bag of salted nuts instead of a candy bar for a few days. Then replace 2 sweets with salts etc. If the craving gets too bad, have just a taste of sugar and a glass of water. LOTS OF WATER!! It helps and you can do it. Thanks Defekt, for the salt rinse. Where's my head? Duh..

Wow! thanks everyone! :)I had forgotten about rinsing with salt water, and will try the teeth brushing with salt. It does all seem to be coming now from one particular place inside my cheek. I take acidophillus like mad and actually chew the tablets before I swallow them to try to get the stuff in my mouth. And have cut way way back onsugar when I started all the antibiotics - although occasionally I have to have a "sugar day" or I'll go nuts - what that means is that I will put honey on my toast or have a few cookies on that day. I don't eat candy bars, or candy for that matter, and I use stevia, a plant derived sweetener, in my tea and coffee. I probably need to stop drinking alcohol, but I find this disease so depressing that I have a drink aroung 6:00 p.m. every evening just to numb the psychic pain. I was reading over on another thread that Chem is dating again. That's what I want. I want to date again. I am so sick of this loneliness and illness. Sorry, didn't mean to go down like that............ Jane

I think that the craving for sweets is triggered by the body responding to an organism that is communicating to the body saying that "I NEED MORE SUGAR TO SURVIVE" I know that candida sufferers crave sweets, When the candida does not get sugar it dies off. When it dies off the fungus explodes releasing its spores. This will produce a herx effect and you usually feel pretty punk with bad headache etc. My advise is to curtail your intake of all sugar and white flour products. If you are a sugar burner your body gets accustomed to that kind of fuel. It takes some time for the body to switch over to the proper fuel, One should up the intake of codliver oil-flax oil- fish oil-coconut oil. eat lots of green leafy vegies and pay attention to your body ph, Contrary to common beliefe , your best source of protien is eggs. Eggs have many neutriants that the body needs--that is why nature put the yolk there so as to nurture the developing chick embrio. It's all there in one neat little package. Don't forget that your body can get way out of whack by taking too many herbs or medications. Take a day off or a med. holliday once in a while. Mother nature knows best. Feed your body right and build the immune system .

Just wanted to add that since my family and I have been doing low/no sugar, I have drainage down the back of my throat...like something was in there and is now melting away...?? My teenage daughter says she does, too. I know that whether the problem is Candida, some other fungus, or just the parasite itself, we all should avoid suger if possible. It has helped us, but we did run our of Glyconutrients, and the symptoms are back..were within 24-48 hours after running out. I am biding my time until we can reorder!!! Sorry about your mouth slime. Gross. Mine's all in the nosey rosey and sinuses, or was...

Hi, I have that condition before, but slowly getting rid of the slime with salt water and virgin coconut oil alternately. Every morning, I do the "spit test" and I can see now that the slime from my mouth has somewhat lessen. I avoided sugar altogether and stopped taking coffee and replaces it with Japanese green tea. It cleanses the tongue and the mouth of the "white feathery coat". Also the usual, making the raw garlic as my candy, no longer minding the spicy and awful taste, but it really helps me a lot clearing of this slime.

Actually, I DID read that these thing secrete this crap in order to protect themselves, so this is what I think is happening: I think they do it for the reason said above, but, at the same time, like a few hundred doing it at once can create a nasty, but constant, drip or flow if you will. Toothpaste is the first thing I use, then try mouthwash every 2 hours...it might work for a while. I also wonder if I have lesions in the nasal cavities, because it can pile up Very fast if you are infested, and almost impossible to really completely get rid of as a whole, only because they keep going in there, and for the record, it's been a while since I had a sore, but usually in the early-mid winter time is when i get one.

This sure don't sound to me lie morgellons..I have a very good case of the fiber disease and have not experianced any of this stuff--I take is a coinfection or infections . I can see where a newbe could get very confused by the information presented in many posts placed here. That is not to say that none of this is actually happening but mearly a number of differant coinfections and all not the same as a common morgellons sufferer. I have a very bad case of the fiber disease and don't experiance any where near the things reported here. It seems that a miriad of differant parasidic diseases are afflicting these ppl and no two alike . These are coinfections that morge ppl are unlucky enough to encounter. I feel aslso that it would be safe to assume that geographic location would also dictate as to what type of parasite coexists with morgellons. I also feel safe in stating that morgellons knows no geographic bounds. North, south, east and west--all the same for morgellons. I also believe that morgellons is a coinfection of some other pathogen---Or which came first, the chicken or the egg?

may want to take a look at this..russian oil pulling therapy.. bhojraj.tripod.com/russian.htmlit's also mentioned in the book the amazing liver cleanse by andreas moritz...not saying it's associated with the liver, just that it's mentioned ...though he says shorter is better i found 15 minutes better. and i added 10-15 with a solution of 1/2 tsp salt, + 1/2 tsp baking soda after the oil pulling. most people don't have the time for this. possibly it's candida like related...

Try drinking POM. Get the kind that is pomegranate AND blueberryy juice. It actually tastes yummy. Drink some sips and then swish some in your mouth then spit out. Wait a few seconds and spit again. Your mouth start shedding. All that slime and thin membrane stuff come out. Nothing works this well for slime in mouth. Nothing I have found.
Albertsons carries it, many health food stores, etc. POM juice can be bought plain, with cherries, with mango, but you want the "purple" colored lid meaning blue berry/pomagtanite.

I believe that if this was ocuring with my mouth I would want to get to the bottom of it fast. It would be hard to believe that it would be anything like slime mold? Start with your dental condition--teeth good? Salavery glands working ok? Something underground with your general health. This is a weard thread . Fowel breath? taste? How long since your last physical?

I know about this had it for a year and got rid of it when I took Flagyl. This is bacteria that has wrapped itself around you inside. I am now doing herbs to get rid of the rest and it is working --no more drugs
