This was about three years ago when I still was not sure quite what was happening me !!! Morg wise!!!.I was sick and knew something wierd was happening..thought I had brain damage from MS and was having delusions (hee hee) T was not sick yet! Cat died that summer coughing up clear fibers and blood...my Joey...vet was dumbfounded..and he died ...it was 4th of July weekend and I had just been dop'ed by the biggest idiot of all ...I was crying so hard on the way home I swear these wormy things were in my tears even...it was 4th July weekend..I had a pea size lump on my forehead...I put something on it and that sucker moved across my forhead so damn fast..an old friend saw it happen..he was a paramedic and told me don't bother going to the ER or a Doc get Hulda clarkes book...then he said he had to go and ran out of my house.....,didn't think about it again till Carrie brought that book up again...I think this is a variety of parasites and may even be one never seen before...nobody commented on why at the center core of a large fluke there was a thick fiber..you do not think worm and tissue develope around fiber and thats why fibers move...maybe thise are the inmature worms before they develope..none of this s--t makes any sense...Toni who wrote that piece called "Diary of a parasite sufferer...he described sone of thiose worms and he is what led me to you guys and Morgellons..who wrote that? Carrie can you please post thes pictores and make copies for me? I will love ya forever! take as long as you need but like I said be prepared to freak the hell out! I told ya on a cruise that thje ship doc told me That is a fluke but a kind I have never seen before...that was christmas 2005....that ship also goes to the Amazon so he has seen alot of parasites....The overly great cabin stewart through it a way....I don't even look in the poo ppp anymore I just flush and run! too scary!

Carrie, Check this out, this can live in humans for 20 years and the moving lump thing, and that's correct, I know I'm not nearly up to snuff on the flukes as you are, but I've never heard of flukes traveling either in lumps like that also, but this one sure does. And nothing "known to date" stops this Sparganum/Spirometa worm. www.stanford.edu/class/humbio103/ParaSites2001/sparganosis/page4.html

It can't be that cause too many of us have this and doctors know of that infection .. this is something unknown. With all of us sick some bright doc woulda picked that up and there are some fine docs out there even some who have Morgellons . Did I make sence ? not wanting to offend anyone .. hope I did not come across that way ..Moe

Morgellonsmoe1,
About the Ivermectin, oh, so far it's what's saved me from a zillion lesions as I had "before" the Stromectol/ivermectin.
I took it daily for almost 5 months, and when I stopped after all that time of taking it, it all came right back.
Now, I'm taking it to the "schedule of the breakouts".
Every 2 1/2 weeks seems to be the cycle these suckers are on.
Actually here's what I mean. When it's a full moon, the itchies break out. So I take it for a week total, and I think I'm knocking them down (the hatchlings) , but not killing it's "creator".

I hope I do not have the largest worms ever though ..we will see when miss Carrie posts them! If mine are bigger than you have ever seen please don't tell me!

Liz,
I think you really need someone in the field of tapes, because these are very very hard to see by someone not trained.
I don't know if a regular parasitolgist is experienced. Let me know will you? Cause I would love to talk with them too.
