THIS IS WHAT I ADVISE OTHERS WHO HAVE MORGELLONS.
Our hot tub is helping more than anything! I get in it every evening before bed which reduced the crawling tremendously!
Treat all animals in the house with Frontline, after a good bath in Lysol mixed with shampoo. Don’t let the animals indoors until they are good and dry. I believe this reduces the number of bugs getting off the animal, because after our dogs bath I have increased crawling, but I had nothing to do with his bath.
Get tested for lyme disease (see a lyme disease specialist for much more reliable test).
Buy a zapper. I bought mine at zap.intergate.ca because it plugs into the wall.
Avoid other people’s homes and cars. Don’t allow visitors to your home or passengers in your car. Take every precaution to not spread this horror to others. No one knows for sure what we are dealing with.
Pull out all carpet and any cloth furniture, especially mattresses (and pillows). Burn them and don’t look back (do check the fire!). I am NOT responsible if you follow this advice. I believe we have to go to extreme measures to rid this from our homes, and greatly reduce their numbers.
Get a new bed, pillows and dust mite resistant covers. Wash your pillows on delicate cycle but HOT water and then in hot dryer for an hour or more on high at least once a week. Wash bedding often, then less as things get back to normal (what’s normal?).
Replace flooring with easy to clean floors, like tile or wood. Seal off any holes in walls and floors, like electrical and plumbing holes. Take out trim, seal, replace trim.
Extermination: spray with regular chemicals like Permethrin, then MANY days later spray a miticide, then MANY days later spray the yeast enzyme product sold at naturalgenisus.com. Then repeat, repeat, repeat. I know it is bad for us, but at this point what does it matter?
Peel mask: once a week until facial crawling and itching symptoms subside. Put Vaseline or something on your lips, eyebrows and eyelashes so they won’t move onto those exposed areas. This helped me a lot.
Mix the yeast enzyme product 7 to 1 with water. Put this in your hair, it will be wet. Put a towel on your pillow and go to bed with the yeast on your hair. Now they cannot feed, they don't like the yeast, and sometimes it kills them, and the "wet" can choke or drown them, I guess. This product has been a God-send.
Make yourself unappetizing to them by taking garlic, and rid your intestines of parasites by taking olive leaf capsules.
If you are being attacked because of low immunity, take colostrum capsules.
If you are on antibiotics, replace the good stuff in your tummy by taking acidophilus, colostrum and blue-green algae.
Put LOTS of salt in your bath and splash your face a lot. Submerge your hair a lot. Even pour table salt right on your wet hair. Drink water before, during or after your soak. Then daily bathe for 20 - 30 minutes in Epsom salt, remember to drink water.
When you have several hours at home, put castor oil all over you from the tip of your head to the soles of your feet. Rub your skin until you start feelings things, grab them one at a time and get them off of you. Put them on tape and look at them under a microscope. THIS HELPED ME SO MUCH! I believe this is why I don’t have the ulcers.
Cut all your nails VERY short, keep them clean and moisturized. Clip them weekly so that you won’t be scratching yourself. Also they seem to love to nest under your nails, and keeping them short makes it not a good place for them.
Do not use a wash cloth or exfoliator, nothing but soap, salt, water, etc. No cloth that can become infected with "whatever" and spread to others. Be very gentle with your skin. Avoid contact with cleanser, etc. Wear rubber gloves when cleaning so the cleansers don’t aggravate your skin, the bugs love scars, sores and irritated skin.
Use a lint roller or very sticky tape anywhere you itch, even your face. Take lint roller to bed with you, pull back the covers and roll anywhere that itches. It seems we have to catch these damn things one at a time!
Wash everything in the house in hot water & hot dryer, clean clothes and all. Then bag up what you can do without. Simplify your life so cleaning is easier.
Throw out your hair brushes. I don’t use anything but a comb, and I keep it soaking in rubbing alcohol.
Get sleep somehow, ask your dr, or get something OTC, but SLEEP so you can better deal with this mentally.
Wash your house shoes often and dry hot. Or throw them out and buy new ones.
Throw away all bras and other underclothes, buy news ones, repeat as necessary.
Our infra-red sauna is helping SOOOOOO much. The first time I got in I could feel a group of them on my face about the size of a quarter. They were dancing around and freaking out. The quarter size got smaller and smaller, then a dot, and then gone………WOW! Now I wish I had thought to take clear shipping tape inside the sauna with me to maybe capture some evidence.
I have been having trouble with them in my ears. I put ear oil in my ears and plug it with cotton and go to bed like that. It really is helping. I also tried ear candling and swear it helped. The hot tub helped the most with getting them out of my ears!
I have put colloidial silver in my eyes and ears, really seemed to help my eyes!
Put powder in your shoes. Keep powder by your bed for night sweats and for crawling. Put it in your hair or anywhere else that you feel crawling. Be careful to not inhale the powder.
NEVER go barefooted.
Treat everything as if it were infested. Even if you wear something for a short time, throw it in the laundry. Use bath towels only once, and change hand towels daily. If a clean article of clothing touches the floor throw it in the laundry. Don’t put clean clothes on the bed. If I try something on and decide to not wear it, it goes in the dirty clothes basket.
Vacuum your car often. Vacuum your bed.
Pray as if your life depended on it.
