Since I live in a desert region, I wonder if these things die at high level temperatures? My apartment stays cool because of the air conditioner, but when not in my vehicle with windows rolled up, temperatures can reach up to 140 degrees. Would this kill anything lurking in my car seats? and If I did the same would it work in my apartment? (provided that I left for a week or two with AC off and window curtains open)
Still there is the problem of it being on me and bring it back home. What about sun tanning? I'd probably end up pretty dark and cancerous. lol

True! I hadn't thought of this handy way of sterilizing the vehicles!
I have read heating a house to an internal temperature of 130 degrees, with all the exits taped up from the outside, (windows door frames) is a way to rid the house of bed bugs.
i can't remember if it said for 20 minutes or an hour. Be careful! I could imagine a case of spontaneous combustion taking place. maybe 130 wouldn't do it... but the temperature might climb higher than we can carefully control in a house once we sent its temperature sizzling.. especially if the day was getting hotter, rather than cooling down as in heating a house up toward sunset.

I believe I got them out of my car in the winter warming up my car in the mornings. The heat from my infra-red sauna also seems to kill them. How can we super-heat our beds safely? I do wash our pillows weekly on delicate but hot water and hot dryer.
You may find that the heat bothers you if you tried to tan. Especially be careful of the sun if you are on antibiotic treatment.

Well I was in FL for a week and got plenty of sun - didn't slow them down one bit. What did help was a hot tub with plenty of chlorine.
Another angle I'm going to work is Accutane. The acne medication that dries out your outer skin layer. Anyone try this yet???

I boiled some Q-Tips in salt water and the fibers still wanted to dance---microwave was no help either. I've been cleaning up my ears with witchhazel and neosporin---best success yet. I have black worm like organisms..black specks which appear to give birth to black fibers--clear filliments--and various other blobs of ?? Some are red but very few, all of dande from my hair has black specks and clear filliments, and short black hair like filliments..matter from eyes has black filliments as well as from nose. I use the ears to monitor the infection. Since I also have babesiosis it is hard to determine much . I hope to undergo treatment for it the 28th--then we will see how the rest of it goes.

I think the Q-tip dance has a little to do with static electricity. I'm sure there have been fiber worms in them, but I think for the most part, static electricity has been the culprit as far as them reaching out for your finger. Just MHO.

I've decided to take my bed to a storage facility and wait it out for month. The temperatures are rising out here, it was 108 today and its only going to get hotter, and in a closed in tin roof like area it should get way hotter. I hope this works because I'd really like to keep my fairly new mattress. I think the main area I'm having problems now is in my room, and I've been sleeping in the livingroom lately, far away from my bed. So wish me luck, I hope this works.

I agree with the static theory, I spent quite sometime staring at one until I was eventually cross-eyed.

Last night I was trying to take photos with a digital camera, the camera was picking up static, I've never seen this before, I'll double check from another location, see what happens.
Has anyone tried the intestinal parasite remedies like black walnut and wood worm?

Dr. Martin's work supports what we are experiencing. www.s3support.com/products.cfmSnip "ACE pigments are responsive to various forms of electromagnetic, magnetic and sound energies and are capable of donating electrons for metabolic reactions. They may also generate a type of biophysical force that has yet to be characterized." Snip

hmm, well... who knows. A thought came to me today, the cotton theory doesn't really do if for me, besides all the imports are exposed to irradiation to kill off living organisms, and what they may be seeing is active particles with a charge, and dead organisms. Where were the cotton buds, take a look in the medicine cupboard, how clean is it. Many medicinal products use or used mercury, it doesn't have to be much but its the active ingredient, the part that sets the fire, create the reactive part with other elements. Mercury and radiation are fairly unique too. Come to think of it some of the descriptions look more like the Helicobacter pylori bacterium, these can also show signs on the skin and rosea. They also cause the breath to contain carbon dioxide and ammonia which accounts for fatigue. Look familiar: www.cuhk.edu.hk/puo/bulletin/issue/199702/english/ehp.htm There is a forum for those undiagnosed skin problems too. www.helico.com/

EXACTLY.....we are causing the dancing thing. We provide the static electricity. Try dipping in salt and see what happens.

I live where it is HOT. It does not affect it. There are just as many floating fibers now in my vehicle as there were in the wintertime.
