can anyone enlighten me on this subject? i went to see ginger savely 2 weeks ago and have been on antibiotics since then. i have felt ....... not exactly bad but just like things were not right. for the past 4 days i have suffered with night sweats, insomnia ,headaches, and this morning i awoke with an angry red rash from head to toe. i was advised to discontinue usage of my medication for 5 days and then to start back with the same dosage. i really want this rash to disappear before this weekend. anybody have any ideas?

In all cases of the Herxheimer, there is the appearance of a war or tussle going on inside the body akin to the antigen/antibody warfare, where the body produces fever, sweat, aching and swollen joints, diarrhea, nausea, and so on, in varying proportions with varying degrees depending upon state of metabolism, genetics, source of disturbance and so on and so forth in our case it may result in the morgellons sympoms going nuts Generally speaking, the more severe the induced Herxheimer, the more probability of wellness - which is not to say that one who has a very light Herxheimer may not also get well. lymebusters.proboards39.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=lyme&thread=1117680509&page=1

I ment to say that as much as you think its not" a good thing-- a rash or an over abundence of zits is a good sign that your skin is starting to perge toxens and parastes or whatever"and starting to heal itself a herxermer of your skin you might say --happy herxing ---not!!!!

My experience with it has been whenever I take something new and "semi"-effective, it causes a mass exodus of things, some alive and some dead. But it's very painful and itchy. Last week, I had it for 4 nights in a row at the same exact time each night. It makes you crazy, as if any of the previous experiences haven't done their fair share of the same. I might be mis-labeling my experience as the "herx", but I saw a post by someone else on here which described what I was going through as a "herx" and I sort of went with it.
