Thank you Jjill et al for your very informative posts.
I too suspected that 1-2 dyas change in MRF pages followed by Dr. H letter, followed by the MRF newsletter, which reiterated the relevant info in the first two, may have been an intentional "leak".
We have to keep in mind that, even when all goes well, it takes on the average ~6 months to publish a study in a peer review journal. Because this is a controversial subject, it wil be severily scrutinized and => delayed. Since the paper itself is not quite finished yet, we will be very lucky if it sees the light next spring.

patti,
i understand your point but my contention was with the fact that delusions and independent treatment of such were so clearly spelled out while most of the correspondence was vague. again, if this is all preliminary, then it is irresponsible to allow this type of information out, intentional or not. to advocate for psycho trophic treatment independently as being successful just gives the medical establishment carte blanche to continue giving out those pretty little pills without acknowledging the very real physical symptoms we suffer with. they really don't need this kind of encouragement. why wasn't more made of the physical findings? it just seemed to me that those got glossed over in the rush to talk about delusions,....again. maybe his statements were in direct response to questions asked by the person addressed in this e mail, then again maybe not. it is hard not to feel the need to take the offensive when something like this happens. i would rather address it now then have it peer reviewed and published for the whole world to read. call me crazy...................
