Good to see that you're on the job with that scooper Ant!
Thanks, JJ- likewise good to see that you are posting. I've learned lots from you.
Good links on the lemonade. Years ago I purchased an alternative med type book and the author recommended lemon water for a flush. My sister in law tried it- she had RA- and it helped her a great deal. She had been unable to brush her hair prior to the lemon flush.
Don't you love those techniques that are cheap but effective?

I've been drinking lemon juice, freshly squeezed into cold water, and instead of any sweetener, I've added some pomegranate juice to take the edge off.
It's been refreshing these past hot weeks. Takes less than a minute to make. One lemon makes about four glasses.
Don't plan on long drives . . .

Also suggest using Sorbitol containing maple syrup products as sweetner and Stevia. Other alternatives to aspartame. Sorbitol, of course, has also had safety questions raised.
I think it may be safer to go with Sorbitol, because the effect of the conversion at higher temperatures to what are known poisons is not a factor.
Also consider all things in moderation, nothing will ever be perfect.
It's all Russian Roulette..
