Since getting off antibiotics I have less energy, but not more crawling, so I'm doing great (so far).
There are two things I am doing now that I wasn't before. I am using my zapper more, I had pretty much forgotten about it, and had not used it for months.
Last night, just after doing an 8 minute session with the zapper something big moved out of my neck and down into my body. It was very strange.
And I am adding ammonia to every wash (lots of ammonia when washing pillows weekly).
I swear these two things have made a huge difference.
Remember, we have no carpet and no cloth furniture for them to live in.
I still have crawling up my legs when I sit at the computer and when I am in my bathroom, so they are still in my home.

RE: Zapper and ammonia Becky, I'm new tothis site. What zapper are you talking about? Where do I get one? I have those pest zappers plugged into the outlets for insect control. Do you mean that? GRSue

Try putting straight ammonia in a spray bottle.
Hold Breath. Spray bathroom while backing out. Close door.
Same for vehicle. (I haven't noticed fabric damage, but I'm not leasing and don't care either - be sure to get under the seats)
I also sprayed entire desk area (computer turned off) and especially underneath.
At first I sprayed everywhere, even inside closets and drawers - but haven't sprayed for a while now. Also, make sure you get plenty of air flow in the house and sunlight.
You can spray mattresses or pillows while washing linens.
Don't let mold have moisture or darkness.
The ammonia in the laundry is something I have never stopped doing. It's helped a lot.
Make sure to never let ammonia and bleach mix. Dangerous.
I also have no rugs or curtains in the home. Only those throw rugs that fit into a washer - mostly for the dogs to lie on.

Those things that plug in the wall to keep mice away don't work on these buggers. I have six of those things, but still the buggers are here. I also spray ammonia and mop with it. The buggers all get on my legs when I do this, so I get in a salt bath after mopping. I bought my zapper for $160 at zap.intergate.ca/ I have been having increased crawling for the last couple of months, even before I stopped the antibiotics. I have been using the zapper a lot lately and I swear I have had sooooo much less crawling. I have places on my skin now that has lots of tiny bumps. I think they have died under my skin.
