BB Just this morning Good Morning America says they are wanting to know America's problems and asks for us all to let them know what it is and they will try to solve it? I don't know about their solving it but it might be a way to help get us recognized, then maybe, just MAYBE we could get some REAL help. Let's all bombard them with our stories, who knows?? abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=1051758&page=1 In God we trust,,,,,,,,,, Cricket They are contemplating a new series.

The reason is simple - both the Western Blot and ALISA tests ONLY look for antibodies your body makes IF it is detecting Lyme! What if your body does NOT detect Lyme as in those with the HLA-DR4 antigen - chronic Lyme patients? Then the IgeneX test is their ONLY hope! It's really that simple but try explaining that to a newspaper.

The NY Times article mentions the Bowen test was also used. The Bowen test relies on the presence of Bb antigens not anti- bodies, so it is probably a more reliable test for those who are immune deficient with low anti- body levels. In addition the patient does not have to be challenged with antibiotics before testing to stir up antibodies. The accuracy of the Bowen technique for Lyme antigens has recently been confirmed using the new Bradford microscope. Researchers are able to see the live Lyme bacteria. Blue Skies................John

And BB, the article does give both points of view so until the investigation is complete, I don't think it really hurts us. I think it may actually help when other scientists begin to realize the deficiencies of both the ALISA and Western Blot tests and see the accuracy of the IgeneX and Bowen techniques with actual visual systemic proof as John points out. And the Elisa test is most accurate LATER ON in the infection after your body has had a chance to develop antibodies against the Lyme bacterium which makes it dangerous - doesn't show positive until you're REALLY sick!

THERE IS A 190 WORD LIMIT SO I KEPT IT SHORT, BUT THIS IS MY LETTER TO THE NEW YORK TIMES. I agree any publicity is good, but it's the lies that are hurting us.
I'm am so glad that you are going to publish the ongoing lies about Lyme Disease!
One day you will regret that decision. One day the truth will be known. When that happens the medical association will once again be red-faced. They are doing their best to cover up the real fact that Lyme Disease is rampant in our country, just as they cover up the fact that many parasites are making us all ill and thereby making them rich. The media plays right into their web of deceet, just as you have done.
There are many challenges for a person with Lyme Disease. First we have to be lucky enough to secure an accurante test, a very difficult feat indeed. Without IgeneX many people would not be getting well. I am one of those people. I can tell you my health has improved tremendously.
Second we have to be lucky enough to have a Lyme doctor that is willing to treat our disease aggressively. We are aware that we will get sicker before we get better, but we are getting better.
How can you argue with the facts?

THEN I SENT THEM THIS.........
There is so much more news regarding Lyme Disease and Morgellons. You really have only touch the tip of the iceberg.
Some 2000 people are registered at morgellons.org. We all suffer the same, inexplicable symptoms of intense itching, and feeling like bugs are crawling and biting our skin. Our disease is a mystery that not many in the medical association seem interested in solving. Some Lyme Disease Specialist are finding some 10% of their Lyme Disease patients have symptoms of Morgellons. If a person has Lyme Disease, there is at least a dozen other co-infections they could also have. Morgellons may someday join that list.
Our symtoms are many and include severe brainfog, numbness in fingertips and toes, night sweats, naseau, anorexia, extreme fatigue, and body aches. Any parasitologist can tell you these are symptoms of being parasitized. But in America, not many doctors will even acknowledge the possibility that a serious condition exist. How can they think that we can be fooled, when the symptoms speak volumes!
Don't you want to be the news reporter that blows the lid off this story? Or are you a puppet who reports what they are told to report?
