The mold was not visible. In the past 2 years we had 2 different home inspectors check our house and one said there wasnt a thing wrong and the other did find mice(lots of them) in the walls and determined they got in through a crack caused by a large tree limb that fell on one of our side porch roof on another porch found pigeons nesting in the eaves. There was tons of bird poop and that porch was totally replaced. That explains the histoplasmosis I had. But the mold wasnt discovered till air tests were done. Scary. Oh and then there were the bats found in a chimney and a family of skunks under a 3rd porch-one thought to be rabid but wasnt tested cause it ran away before hubby could get his rifle. When it ran off it was weaving and stumbling around so it was either rabid or drunk! But the mold was in a space behind my washing machine and wouldnt have been found until really searching for it. Fortunately the black mold was only found in the laundry room but there was other mold in other rooms-said it was allergen-but still had to be removed. Apparently when your immune system is compromised theres no such thing as safe mold. Hard to tell how long some of this stuff was there but as stupid as it may sound, I was kinda relieved we had all this mess cause even if it isnt the cause of me being sick, it most certainly wasnt helping me.

Why Vivi it sound like my old house, very same problems. We had birds nesting in the eves because the roof was rotten, there was a small river under the house in crawl space because the dummy they sent out in install my washer didn't tube into the pipe, but just through the hole in the floor, miss the pipe all together. Now that guy was a "drunk skunk" There was mold everywhere after that. We were living there saving for our home. I did turn the guy in because he never had the place checked for lead paint and it was found. He was a very nice man we rented from, very big house, low rent. But he could hold on tight to a penny. Thank godness when all the mold problems started we were ready to buy because I know that has to be hard to deal with that clean up.
I wondered when I got sick if there was a connection because I've read that a lot of Morgies had water problems in their homes.
I bet it did feel nice to get it all done, your right mold sure won't help us even if it's not the cause of our illness.
I hope you start feeling better real soon. Love, Sue
Oh and guess what, my vet told us she believes the cause will be found with mice. Hum, We had mice, even rats in our old house and we had mice in our new house because it had set empty for six months, so the inspector said.

Worth watchingyoutube.com/profile?user=angeloftheairIt's similar with facts of morgellons: 1. fungus/molds 2. hard to get medical care 4. CDC ignores it 5. Insurance doesn't want it acknowledged and have to pay claims Good Story

Oh Kmarie that poor lady. You can see the pain in her eyes. I'm so glad she got help.
I don't think CDC will EVER say that mold can be toxic, they have to keep the insurance co's happy.
This is so sad and it makes me so angry, I want to hit someone hard. Dan Rutz? Dave Daigle? you guys want to stop by. First I want to give both of you a very long wet kiss, then slap you both all the way back to Georgia. Oh now that was a darn good fantacy
