Wow that was published in July 2006, look at this quote:
The 13-member team is expected to share their findings within the next two months. "We're not ready to concede there's a new disease," says CDC spokesman Dan Rutz. "But the volume of concern has stepped up because a lot of people are writing or calling their congressmen about it because they're frustrated that there's been no organized way to deal with their suffering."
How disgraceful ...

The issue isn't whether the news is old or current.
Point is....more stalls. More delays.....More B. S.
Thank you, Grady! More evidence of failed promises.
Do any of you have emails from the CDC replying to your inquiries as to when they're going to move on this and begin investigating our disease?
I'd appreciate receiving anything you can share from the CDC.
Just copy and paste it so I can pass it on. Really sick of stalling.
Thanks.

The author's name (at the top of the article) is a link, to email her. I am going to do that, and ask her to consider a follow-up story exposing the lack of progress on this.

Thanks Sidney, I'll post the text here too:
The consistent finding of numerous unexpected biologic agents at atypically high levels (some thought to be non-pathogens, others definitely pathogenic) strongly supports that an immune deficiency state exists in Morgellons patients.
Agents identified serologically include many zoonoses (intermittently and in low numbers) such as Borrelia (at least five species) and Babesia, a single recently found gram negative bacterium, most herpes viruses, some strongly activated such as VZV and HHV-6, several mycology species (esp. Tineas), and particularly in those we have labeled Morgellons patients, parasites (species will be elaborated following PCR sequencing).

I have some old CDC letters on this website. I also have more around here somewhere. I even have some that Dan Rutz wrote my daughters boyfriend saying that he did not think there was any reason to think this is conatgious. Honestly, I have such a large paper trail and would love to put it into a lawyers hands so I dont have to think about it anymore. I also have so much proof coming out of my head that I must be crazy to still be in the humiliating condition. Anyhow, if you want them let me know. I dont care who see's them. Thank you, Anne. Thank you for being strong and for the many sacrifices you have made and the courage you have displayed.
You are truly an inspiration.
If you come across additional letters from the CDC I would love to read them as well as save them for sharing.
Thank you again, and please don't give up.
