It's been proven you don't have to be immune deficient to get Morgellons now, right? Toni, you weren't, or aren't are you?
Right now, I would like to find some hole that would suck me into it, & I'd never be seen again.
Last night, as I had been looking for days, where I put the fenben, I couldn't think of anything else but to put dietenacious earth on my dogs. When you touch their backs, it curves up, they are so infested, & have the itches so bad.
Seems like I put too much on. Geraard, my son-in-law got dizzy as soon as he pet the dogs, & felt he was going to pass out. The same thing happened this morning.
My daughter's face has broken out in 3 spots. She believes she was allergic to it. I slept in late, & haven't seen her.
DE could cause you to be dizzy, I'm sure, but to break out, not so sure.
Fear has enveloped me, & I'm really afraid they got Morgellons. As I've said before, I can't get my house picked up, & morgies are all over the place. I think they would be anyway. I'm so fatigued, I just can't get it done.
What are the chances they would get it in a day?
I'm at a loss for words. I can't know anything just yet, but I'm not a happy camper. freaky
Now I remember, there's a Morgellon dr. in Manhatten(sp) NY. Does anyone know his name? Please?
My mom is 89 years old. She has been to numerous drs. who say she is in perfect health, taken numerous tests, etc. She can barely get out of bed. I may have given this to her also.
I'm not trying to drum up a pity pary. I'm just really scared.

Oh my goodness Freaky, that's awful, and I'm so sorry about all that's happening at your house.
You're correct, me and Mr T weren't immune suppressed. We've been 2 healthy "OXES", hahaha but seriously...we are never fatigued, we sleep like logs comatosed, and if it weren't for the lesions and crawlies under the skin we'd of never known we had anything going on.
DE is VERY dangerous if it's inhaled. Very serious stuff.
Even if you were sprinkling it on the carpet you must wear a mask of some sort.
I'd (just me) wash your poochies off ((( right away ))).
Here's what else I'd do once the DE was shampooed off, is I'd "WARM" gently some milk (a gallon of it) and put into a bottle where you can rub it all over them really well. Saturate them in it.
Let that sit on them for 5 min...then rinse off. And then put nothing on them - just dry them off really well.
Your furry friends might be having a bad reaction and it can (severely) dry out their skin too.

My pooches are at the beauty shop as we speak. I can't handle them in the tub, & we don't have a way to rince them off. Thanks Toni. You're so thoughtful. Hope you had a wonderful Xmas. Hugs, freaky

Diatomaceous earth: Diatomaceous earth is a dessicant (drying agent) (See Treatment of the House) and also works as a chaffing agent to fleas.
It may be spread in an environment to help reduce the humidity in carpet. Diatomaceous earth is available at stores catering to health or natural foods/products. Its effectiveness is variable.
The product may be toxic to humans, since it contains a significant percentage of silica, and silica can cause lung disease in humans if inhaled. An alternative to the application of diatomaceous earth is the application of the borates.

Alternative Flea Treatments: Unfortunately, products such as ultrasonic flea collars, Brewer’s yeast, elemental sulfur, garlic, vinegar in drinking water, and B- complex vitamins have all been shown to be ineffective in controlling fleas. D-Limonene, a citrus extract, is very dangerous to pets.
It can cause decreased body temperatures, loss of coordination and death. Diatomaceous earth is also very dangerous. The silica in the product can cause permanent lung disease.
You're certainly welcome. The paragraph above was from another article on DE and pets.
I know you were just trying to take care of your babies, and all we can do with Morgellons is live and learn kind of thing - trial and error, since there's not many doctors willing to step forward and help.
I'm sure they'll be fine since that's getting washed off.
You might want to change their bedding so they don't inhale any of the powder...that's what very dangerous to humans too.

I think the stuff is very dangerous, but perhaps it comes in different strengths. I have no idea.
I do know this. Sprinkling it on the carpet must surely cause it to "float" upward and for small animals, any house pet to walk through it is a lot different from an adult who would obviously be much taller.
If it's dangerous to inhale and pets being short and nearer the source, (the carpet) I'd be very careful. In fact, I wouldn't use it on a bet.
So sorry this happened, Freaky. I so hope your daughter and son in law have had only a mild reaction and no, I don't believe they could get Morgellons that quickly, but on the other hand, I guess it's possible.
Don't beat yourself up about it. It's possible they will be fine in a day or two. I certinly hope so.

Dearest Sandy are you and the dogs all right. People just can not get Morgs over night!!!!! Please please believe me!!! I wouldn't lie to you dearest girl. If the dogs are not well shampoo them, preferably with a pure aloe vera shampoo. If you cann't get it, that is okay, shampoo them WITH YOUR SHAMPOO. Rinse the shampoo out of their coats, and then get a small bucket of luke warm water with Benzalkkonium chloride it is a disenfectant concentrate. I have looked it up on the intenet and IT IS VERRY GOOD FOR DOGS! I have used it twice on Kyra. I splashed the bucket with the disenfectant in it and then rubbed it in well got her out of the bath and let her coat dry with out me rubbing her down. AND SANDY IT HAS HELPED PLEASE PLEASE TRY IT OUT. My love thoughts and prayers are with you Sandy. I just don't know what has happened can you tell me what has happened to upset you so much? Much much love and hugs. Robbie.

Dearest dearest Sandy everything is going to be all right!!!!! Your daughter and son in law will be okay this reaction will wear off. Now that is just soooo great that the dogs are being treated at the doggy salon. That will help them greatly and this earth stuff probably has killed alot of things that were in your dogs coat. If I only lived nearer i could shampoo them for you dearest girl. They will come back to you all shiney and happy. Please please try and get Manuka honey, safflower oil and apple cider vinegar, it will help them internally and externally. I know that I have said it many many times but PLEASSE LOOK UP MANUKA HONEY ON THE INTERNET YOU SHOULD ALSO TAKE THE MIXTURE. That solution and pure aloe vera shampoo saved Ayla the dog before I had Kyra life!!!!!!!!!! Ayla was soooooooooooooooooooooo sick and I was soooooooooooooooooooo sick. But every night Ayla had her aloe vera shampoo and two table spoons of the Manuka honey mixture and it saved her life!!! She lived until 2 weeks before her 17th birthday. Kyra has it in her meal everyday plus crushed garlic. She also has sardines once a week which gives her plenty of omega 3 which gives her a lovely shiny coat plus a raw egg mixed in her food and a large cannon bone that she chews and chews on and the Vet just keeps telling me what good condition her teeth are in she also has tuna and mackeral. My Vet is really really pleased at the condition of her teeth. She chews on her cannon bone many times through the day. Please let me know how everyone and the dogs are. Much much much love AND BIG HUGS. Robbie

Dear Sandy,
Likewise, sorry to hear your concerns and fears. We are all here for you. Looks like you have received loads of support. I too, fear for my daughter and son in law. It's natural for a mother to be that way. We can't feel guilty, WE didn't cause this and it's out of our hands.
We can only have hope and pray at this point along with continuing to bring awareness to the public,
You are cared for deeply here, Kmarie

I must have been in a hurry when I just thanked Toni only. I meant to thank the rest of you all for the information, Sid, & for all you guy's kind words to help me calm down. Gee wiz, I did look up DE before I used it myself, & before I gave it to the dogs. I guess I read what I wanted to hear, as there were no negative issues with the use of it, in fact, health wise, it was very impressive. I haven't had time to go back and research it yet, but I wonder if the great difference is possibly between the health grade DE. & the other, used in swimming pools. I'll certainly check it out. Sid, & Toni, are you sure you're talking about the health grade DE? I know you're not supposed to snort it, for sure, & I used way too much. I really got a scare bolt, & all of your support was greatly appreciated. And Prevenge, I can only say, you're a wild, & crazy sorta guy. I might have gone wacko without your help, girls. Thanks for being so nice. Love, freaky

Freaky,
Yes, the food grade has silica or silicon crystals - small amount but it's there. That is what's harmful to anything that breathes it in. Once that's in the lungs, it doesn't come out. Not that you need to be afraid of it, just use caution is all.
DE food grade is and can be good for us (humans) because we can take the precautions to not breathe it by covering our noses when we apply it to our skin (mixed with water or use it dry to sprinkle it into our carpet) which I've done many many times, but I make sure I wear TP yep toilet paper) wrapped around my face so as to not breathe in any particles.
Also ingesting the (food grade only) can be beneficial in very specified amounts for all kinds of internal parasites. I've never taken it internally, sort of was worried about "drying" out my insides, as it does remind me of "powdered concete" in the way it's very drying - but that's probably only my "hang up" mentally about it.
I've applied it across my door ways, because it's very good to kill any bugs that might have wanted to creep in the house under the doors, because once it makes contact to a bugs body, it will dehydrate them to oblivion...sort of scratches their bodies like glass would then dries them out (the diatoms do that). And I've covered up my mouth and nose really well, then sprinkled it into the carpet...*just in case anything was in there*, sort of a precautionary measure.
But when you vacuum it up out of the carpet hours later or the next day, you need to wear again something over your mouth and nose, because the particles do float in the air, and you don't want to breathe those in.
How are your babies after going to the beauty shop? I'm sure they'll be okay. I'm sure too after their beds are cleaned out too, they won't be in any harm. I had a small dog for many years, and I use to have many king size pillow cases that were just hers only, and I'd slide her little doggie bed into the pillow slip, and that way daily she had a fresh little "sheet" to sleep on too, which was an easy way to keep her bedding clean. And those pillow slips/cases can be washed in bleach and borax as to keep your babies/doggies bed free of these suckers every day too.
And how is Gerard now after his dizzy spells?

We use only the tiniest bit of food-grade diatomateous earth on the backs of our animals. It does help the situation a lot. I even sprinkle it around the baseboards of our home, but there are no children or pets in our home.
Do be careful to not inhale it, that is all.
