Seems the FDA has banned Baytril (Cipro) because it is one of the most effective antibiotics for humans (last line defense) and they have seen some resistance from it's overuse in poultry to Campylobacter bacteria. They don't want to risk lowering it's effectiveness in humans so all vet use get's deep sixed. Bayer has 60 days to appeal the decision.

Chem, Do you or anyone know where I can get Bactrim from an online vet store that is safe? We are running out and have found Calvet, but they don't have Bactrim. Sure would appreciate the help. M
