After reading the information about using red wine to deal with a painful dental problem that Gwen Scott, ND, posted in her letter on Carnicom I decided to try it. I have been plagued with gum and tooth pain for about a week now with my lower left face being quite swollen and painful swelling of lymph nodes under the chin near the affected area. The closest thing I had to red wine was a bottle of tawny porto so I decided to use that. I took a swallow in my mouth and proceeded to swish vigorously, especially around the affected area. After a minute or two of swishing I spit the porto out into a white bowl and could clearly see thousands of things floating around in the formerly clear porto. Lots of small dark red things about the size of a grain of sand or smaller, black fibers some of the black fibers were long and some of them were very short and straight, things that looked like very small beetles and lots of things that looked like they were the Morgellons pathogen in various stages of development. Plus there were alot of unrecognizable lumps and clumps of some kind of pinkish, slightly foamy looking gunk. After afew minutes I swished again and even more stuff came out. After swishing several more times the swelling under my jaw was noticably smaller and a good deal of the pain had gone away. I have sincefound out that my back molar has a sever crack in it extending down under the gum line. I have continued with the swish therapy as I willnot be able to begin treatment until tomorrow or the day after. The dentist also found an area on the side of my tongue that heis concerned about as it might be oral cancer. I go to the oral clinic tomorrow to have this white patch evaluated. After that the work on my tooth begins.

Wow - really interesting! Are you going to tell the dentist about the wine, fibers, particles, morgellons, etc? Did he/she prescribe antibiotics yet? Do you think the area on your tongue is a morgellons thing?

Hi many many years ago when I was in my late teens I experienced the most painful tooth ache in my life. I went to the Dentist and he removed one tooth but the pain kept coming back. I used to get up in the night and swish my Fathers neat rum around my mouh it burnt my inside cheeks a little and my tongue but it took the pain away. After this happened another 6 times I asked my Father to let the Dentist take all my teeth out and I am not sorry the pain is imbedded in my mind and the neat rum helped just like the red wine helps you. Good luck and best wishes. Roberta.

I am rather taken aback at how much crap came out of my mouth with the swishing. Not really surprised, just makes me feel like the morgellons stuff is running rampant all over the place.
Someone posted about oil pulling a while back. Maybe the mouth is a collection point for pathogens of all kinds and the swishing or pulling is a good way to get rid of them.

I was given a bottle of red wine for Christmas. I just opened it and tried this. I, too, am appauled at what I split out, even the second go-round.
And so much easier than OIL PULLING!

Hi Harry welcome to the board. I have these things all over me but especially in my lips ears and nose. The thing that has helped me the best is vaseline. Rubbed into the lips and around the mouth for at least 5 minutes and keep doing this throughout the day. Best wishes. Roberta.

Bet most with this are between 3 and 5 on that Ph chart. and that is baaaaaaaad. i kinda experiment w the soda...depending on where i use it. some cannot have the high sodium intake and if that's the case... do the alkalizing foods. i will draw up a chart of some kind and post (different amts for different uses) *am running out of gas tonite (yawn) i will get back to you on that ok sweetie! luv ya, anj (missed you too and your wonderful humor!) Went back to the dentist today, now they have decided the tooth cannot be saved. I wasn't too excited about getting a root canal anyway. So tomorrow the molar will be extracted. I pointed out to the dentist the large, hard swellings under my jaw and he said that when the molar is extracted they will lance or drain the abscess. Well I hope they take a look at what is draining out of that abscess. Not that I am hopeful this will actually happen.
Nothing ceases to amaze me more than how most in the medical profession can be face to face with the most bizarre aspects of our disease and not even notice anything unusual is going on. I have stood in front of doctors when I have been covered with horrible lesions, my face all swollen up like a chipmunk, my skin crawling with stuff, my calves grossly swollen and inflamed looking, black ankles, white trails all over my skin and loss of pigmenation all over the place in the same curved worm shape, my saliva is full of the parasite, my hears are clogged up with it to the point of hearing loss. And a physician can stand within a couple of feet of me while doing an intake interview to find out what is wrong and not notice a GD thing. It’s downright freaky!

Dearest Glennb i am having exactly the same problems with my Doctor at the hospital He h as tunnel vision and just ignores anything I tell him or the condition of my skin. He is an ear nose and throat Doctor my ears and nose get soooo itchy it is ghastly!!! He uses a machine that sucks some of the stuff in my ears out and that is all he does!! and prescribes ear drops but it doesn't kill or get rid of these things. I keep having to go back and go back. I just wanted you to know that I understand how you feel. Hope you have a good day tomorrow. Love and best wishes. Roberta.

Molar came out today. Surgery was supposed to be this morning but got put off when doctor was perplexed by the swellings under my chin and wanted to wait for a second opinion before proceeding. She said the swellings were odd, couldn't be explained by the cracked tooth. So I'm to go back in a few days to see if they are still there.
The suspicious spot on my tongue was also biopsied today. I have to wait 10 days to get the results. I am praying it's not cancerous.
