Hi! BKS 27, My name is Patti, i live near dallas, tx. - I have been living with this nightmare for 2 years now(mabe longer) I think it started for me when one of my Horses(I have 4 horses)became real sick and the vet diagonosed her with EPM. EPM effects the Central nervous system and spinal cord of the horse also causes nuero problems, swelling of the joints ect..... My horse (Riley) would just fall down and would get deep cuts on her legs so I would treat her wounds(I did not think about wearing gloves at the time) with my bare hands thats when I think all this began for me - the vet put riley on IV of DMSO and Saline and I would give her a shot of vitamin E. Riley went into remmission and actually gave birth to a healthy baby boy(colt) but has fallen back into illness and I'm afraid is on her last legs now. The vet told me that EPM can not be spread from Horse to Horse or people or so on. The vet told me that my horse got it from POSSUM droppings and that the horse is a dead end host. Well I think I would like to beg to differ! Anyway, I could go on and on about what I have been going thru but I'm going to try and make it short and just say a few things - First I want to tell you how good it feels to be able to talk to someone experiencing this nightmare! For 7 months I thought I had scabies or some kind of mite - Then things got a whole lot worse - in two years I have been thru 7 doctors, mental anguish, and near broke - I have been diagnosed with Mono.,HHV6,Lupus, and LYME disease - Have been diagnosed finally with all just mentioned thru the current wonderful doctor I have now! I found him thru Bowen Labs. I was getting desperate so I called the Bowen labarotories and they gave me a list of doctors in my area that are lyme literate and that believes or knows about morgellons! My Doctor is in Dallas,TX (it just so happens that he was on the STATE BOARD OF MEDICAL EXAMINERS for 10 years) Well I have to go now! Will love to wright again! Thank you for listening, Patti

Hi Patti. Although there is someone using Patti as there member log in, you can be Patti2 or maybe something like PattiTX. It doesn't even have to be your name, you can make it anything you want.
When you sign in as a member, you can email other members (who have allowed their email access) by clicking on their name.
The person I have seen in the past for Lyme/Morg is moving to California, so I'm very interested in the doctor you recommend in Dallas. Thanks!

Penny/Patti
Hi, thanks for writing. To use P.M's, first you must be signed in. Then go to top of page where it says members, then click on. Members are in alpha order, then scroll pages until you find the name your looking for. Once you find their name just click onto it to send a PM. Or an easy way....if you see that persons name on a post anywhere, just click onto their name. Thanks for getting back to me, I look forward hearing from you.

Hi London & Lisa Sorry it took me so long to write back - I have been in the middle of moving and sick on top of that! I have been getting severe dibilitating headaches - I hope its herxing - for along time I was having trouble with my heart due to this crap but it seem to leave my chest area and moved right on up to my head(stinging-crawling-hair loss-major nuero problems"I hate the nuero problems") Anyway my Dr. says I have a mold fungus on my scalp - he has me Nizoral (shampoo) for now until he figures out what would be best to take care of the problem. I have no idea what this horrible thing is all about so I just do what the Doc says. For the lyme - he had me on amoxcillin for 6 weeks (because he said it was the only one to pass thru the blood brain barrier) and now on Doxycycline, since I have been doing the Doxy and Niz. thats when the headaches began. I will PM you both with the doctor info. - I really like him and he's opened minded with morgellons. London, Did you see the article in the dallas morn. news about the Anthrax case in NYC? One other thing I wanted to mention my sister (which supports me) worked for KRLD news radio(advertising)I'm going to see if she can pull some strings to get this out there!!! Have a nice day or evening what ever it is! Patti

Hi ALL - Fellow central Texan here. The DFW area has a support group if any are interested in attending. That website is: www.dfwlyme.com Their next meeting is this coming Saturday, May20th. See website for details. Also - I'm interested in the Lyme practitioners you (Patti) mention that is in Dallas and worked on the Medical Board for years. I believe I know who you are referring to - as I just attended the ACAM Conference a couple of weekends ago. (Still recovering from that experience!) Does this particular doc use HBOT? If you don't mind - would you email or PM me with his name AND most importantly, his PROTOCOL he uses for Lyme AND Co-Infections?? Thanks much! Hugs & Kisses, DR Wiseass -not a real doc - just a real wise ass www.twistoflyme.blogspot.com

Marie, I am having this same problem with my fingertips and the sides of my fingers. I used to just get fiber coming out the sides of the cuticles but something changed and my fingertips are exuding a lot of fibers. Lots of white ones and clear and now sometimes in bunches and with sticky stuff. I am so tired of Morgellons. Does anyone know how to slow down all this fiber action? I was at my doctor several days ago and fibers were coming out my fingertips but she has it in her head that this is paritosis so I didnt even try to show her. Sometimes I wish this was a delusion.
