I was just looking thru some interesting comments and found this one. This was very weird to read about myself. Look what our country will settle for instead of answers now!!!! Maybe I should sign up for this procedure now!!! Can I get on a list at the NIH that i dont know about? anne sfdphd1/17/2008 2:50:34 PM Nightline had an informative report on this last night. They hired a forensic CSI expert to examine the fibers with a microscope and the fibers matched nothing in the database. They were unlike all other chemical, natural, and manmade fibers. There is clearly a medical mystery here. In the family profiled in the report, the father died from this, and now the mother and all the children have it. So it may be contagious in some way. The physicians claimed that the father had ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) but he did not have all the symptoms of ALS and his skin problems and fibers were never considered. An autopsy was requested but never performed. The mother now has similar neurological symptoms to her husband. If she dies from this, an autopsy will hopefully contribute to scientific knowledge. Scary stuff.... Hopefully the NIH can now study it... Recommend: (7)(0)[Report Abuse]

I know in my heart that those who do autopsy's, must and I mean must see this. I know the person who did my Grandmother and have wanted to speak with him ever since she past. Maybe one of these days I will when in that town. What a sad story, God Bless us all and keep on "Waiting for the day" as it will soon come with help for us all young and older. It makes me wish harder for the children, how can they possibly understand, one day my son can spell his last name the next day he can't. Prayers, Glenda

So sorry, Ann. I know how you feel, well sorta. I was reading some websites yesterday and when a news story about me was quoted, the guy said "and look here what this hick said she is doing about it". Then at the end he says "Becky Bailey, what a stripper name!".
Well, a pox on them all.
