Hi everyone Just wanted to say everytime I try to reinroduce carbs in my diet i get more crawlie symptoms. Even good carbs like whole grains and flax seed. Not to mention i pack the pounds on . I almost gained 10 pounds eating yams........LOL ;D ( but it was fun I must say ) And just as fast as I pain weight I drop it when I go off . And the crawlies go wway down. I hope you all will take this seriously if you havent tried it because its been key for me ......that and NO sugar

I agree, friskers! Any type of carb and especially sugar. And I noticed if I am on a really healthy diet and I decide to treat myself to something like salami and cheese that treat leads to more treats and I then start helping myself to carbs and/or ice cream.
So eating pure and healthy is the only thing that works for me.

Friski - Thanks for the reminder. There are studies that show how much and for how long a teaspoon of sugar will SERIOULSY paralyze immune system cells. Sugar (which carbs turn into) ALLOWS infection to flourish significantly. It is so damn hard to avoid because it is such comfort food. And, Friski, we don't all have such great love lives for providing an alternate form of pleasure and comfort ! .

But Dr. Hildy told me I could eat ice cream if I wanted to and it would be ok. I'm still the addictive type personality I always was....... it's just that ice cream is my addiction these days!
I don't eat many carbs tho.

Abbienormal....... I love when people call me friskers Liatris...... about my love life,.you do know Bob is not a person right? LOL ;D Stevia is a great sugar substitute, have you tried it? Bannanas....... I say ice cream is still bad for you know matter what Dr Hildy says . Too much fat and too much sugar even if your not a morgie. I still cheat now and then and eat out about 3 or 4 times ayear. Last year i even drank champagne for my birthday. What i do is bring raw garlic with me and cut it up and smear it on everything I eat and then take caprylic acid with my meal. I seem OK as long as I dont cheat too often. I also let myself eat 3 strawberry's a day....the highlight of my day ;D Ive been addicted to these flavored stevias. They are soooo good but kind of expensive. Ive tried the vanilla creme, English toffee, lemon drop and chocolate raspberry. Who says eating healthy cant be tasty and decedent! ;D www.4allvitamins.com/product_info.php/products_id/668?sid=44e4a79aa671760f552ece5ed2eb4754

Bob's not a person !!? !?! Is he one of those sub-terrainian Reptilians that like to have sex with human females ? Extra-terrestrial ? Or perhaps someone who requires batteries ? You need not answer - I can use my imagination. Am I the last ninny on the board to find out that Bob is not a person ? I do like stevia only I have heard that it could cause tachycardia and/or heart rhythm abnormalities - I may have experienced that with it but it also may have been unrelated to the stevia. I heard that is chemically resembles digitalis - I dunno.. still open to taking it. BUT - Flavored Stevia !? Alrighty then ! Very good to hear about this. Are the ingredients in them fairly natural ? Of the ones you have tried do you have any Likes , dislikes, favorites ? Thanks for all the important news ;D !

Aaaaaaaahhahahah Liatris ;D I will repeat this for new folks and you that do not know...BOB stands for battery operated boyfriend ! He doesnt call in the morning or tell me he loves me but WOW have I ever had fun with him! ;D my 3 faves are lemon drop (in greentea) vanilla creme(in yogurt) english toffee( in almond milk) yummmmm we are talking bout stevia now ;D The choc rasberry is too fruity for me but still ok Ive ordered the rootbeer but havent gotten it yet. The ingrediants are "natural flavors and grapefruitseed extract" thats it. I will say if I go overboard and have too much i get mild intestinal cramping.......not sure why or if its bad. But I could not live without my flavored stevias now or BOB ;Djust like Bananas loves her icecream

You like how I made BOB plural ? Well, heck - if any of the rest of us are going to also get a BOB- then it would be plural, wouldn't it ? We can't go sharing the one and only Bob that you have. Yes -- LOVE..... it's the best. If you can find strawberries that are sweet (not sour) - they are good too. But dark, sweet fresh cherries are even better ..... mmm.... I located a store nearby that has the flavored Stevia ! I think that I will be checking out the root beer first . Thanks again .

Sorry, guys, I am 97% - 99% better without ditching the carbs or sugar. It is a battle of attrition, not diet.
I realize that people with blood types other than "O" have to watch what they eat normally.
I realize the healthier a person eats, the healthier a person gets. I eat very good and in moderation. I am not living without my pasta and potatoes. And yes, ice cream.
I got better by reducing "their" numbers in my environment, hair and body. If I slow up on the many therapies I am doing, then I get worse.

I didn't know the importance of blood type one way or theother but I am O+ and I have same results beliefs like BB. I stopped all sugar, carbs and everthing supposed bad for us but didnt see one difference in Morgellons symptoms. W all are different but I also agree that everthing in modertion is so important. BB I find red potatoes seem to be better than white but have not suffered any bad stuff due to either. I dont eat lots of them but with summer coming it's hard to avoid the new baby reds. Maybe its the blood type and maybe it's we all are different. I hope everyone can find thier own happy medium and enjoy life while suffering the best they can. Yes, battle of attrition is so right.

Hi Morgiegal, and welcome to the board.
BB and Morgiegal, me too. I've not changed anything in my eating, and once a week "or more" it's desserts for us too.
Not that I'm cured, cause I have this one lesion that produces enough "things and critters" that come out of it to fill a bucket, and maybe that's due to certain foods, I don't know, and my hair is still wild, reaching for moisture, but I sure don't break out in hundreds of lesions every 2 weeks like I use to.
I've just added all the extra supplements and that's so far been working well.

thanks, morgiegal! I think life is hard enough without trying to forgo God's good food. One day the potato is good, the next it is bad (gimme a break). I have carbs every day without fail! My husband cooks almost every night and he knows to make me happy every meal should include potatoes, pasta or rice. We also have side orders of protein and veggies. LOL!
Check out "The Blood Type Diet" if you want more info. O types are hunters, we can eat about anything. Other blood types were derived from O. They are gatherers, who are not so fortunate because they have to watch everything they eat. I know a couple who are both "B" and they eat like rabbits. If they have an occasional steak, they suffer for it for many hours. Every bite goes straight to their hips, too, while I stay too slim and eat anything I want.
Ice cream almost every night. ;D No kidding.

toni, since I have been bathing in boron and sprinkling some extra in my shampoo when applying it, my hair is not so wild. I haven't gotten a hair cut in something like 3 years so it is long and hippy-looking. Before the boron, it had shorter, crazy hair on top that I had hell with everyday using hairspray to make it stay down.
Now it is much calmer and prettier. I would swear the boron is making a big difference in reducing "their" numbers.

Nice to meet ya morgiegal! It's always a treat when we hear from someone new who's doing good with their supplements. Of course, I also gotta say how great it makes me feel when I hear what you and ((BB)) posted about the food. I'm just not gonna give up my ice cream....... it's an every day thing for me too ((BB)). I did go without it for awhile, just to see, and I found no difference at all in my symptoms either. So, no matter what I hear, I ain't givin up my ice cream! I'm lucky that way too ((BB))....... my old hips haven't changed much at all from when they were younger! At least there are still things in life that make me happy!
So boron, eh? Now that I'm bald ya tell me!!! Nah, just kiddin! My hair seems to be growing back in pretty fast. But mixed in with the grey there seems to be an awful lot of black hairs....... my hair has never ever been black. So, that's enough for me to go ahead and try the boron right now! Thanks for the tip ((BB)). (Are boron and borax two different things?)
