I became a vegetarian for about ten months...then a no carb no sugar grrl. Neither did a thing for me either. Now I just eat in moderation. Diet had no effect in changing any symptoms and did not make me feel better one iota. Im with BB.

I would have to say that for the people who can eat a good amount of carbs (which turn to sugar) and/or sugar that their IMMMUNE SYSTEMS are in quite good shape and that, for them, that is not their limiting factor in getting well. For people with low immunity, it REALLY does matter.
Type O's typically have GOOD immune systems. Then there is the question of how much of any person's "Morgellons" is due to infectious organisms. If, in any given person, "critters" are not high in the mix, then, of course, the ability to fight off pathogenic invaders won't be an issue.
Good for those of you who can eat the sugar/carbs - you are lucky. But, to those who may not be able to get away with it, please do take the sugar thing seriously - the studies that show how much it suppresses immunity were very clear and significant.

bannany,
BORAX, OR SODIUM TETRABORATE, - is a combination of sodium, boron and oxygen.
You can buy the 100% boron online. A 5 lb. bag cost about $12 and shipping is about $12. I use 1/2 cup in my bath, our tub is very large.
I'm getting low on the boron so I am back to epsom salt baths but use the boron sprinkled fresh each time into my shampoo and leave it for a minute. My hair loves it and the crawling is much reduced.

Hi BB,
Glad to hear that boron is helping. I am wondering where the idea of using boron in shampoo and in bath water, etc came from. Is it because of the success a couple are having with drinking borax in water ? If so, I was under the impression that it was thought to be the salt (sodium) portion that was effective -rather than the boron component of the borax ?
Thanks for any info on this.

Dear Bannanyxraaaaabanomobay,
I'm having a bout of sleeping sickness, & not getting to keep up with all this important stuff, especially yours. I'm also trying to get on a real people schedule, but before I say night nite, just wanted to say I'm sorry you're having some other irritating flares arise. Hope to get in touch soon. I love you girly girl. You're like greenies to my dogs. They take a flying leap in the air, wag their tails till they almost fall off, then walk around the house with them hidden under their wiskers proudly, with an attitude. pretending we don't know. Get your test done. Greenies are the best, & so are you. Big fat hug to squeeze out what's unwanted. Get well quicker, love, Sandy

liatris, boron has many uses including as a pesticide. I tried the Borax but didn't see or feel any difference. With the 100% boron, I immediately saw results. After my first few baths, I would find things on my face and neck that I believe came out of my hair. The crawling in my hair has been much reduced.
I don't believe I could bring myself to drink it, but I may try "boron pulling"....LOL
I'm laughing but I really am going to try it. I thought if oil pulling and wine pulling help, maybe boron pulling will help more to get anything out of my mouth that may be living in there.

eat complex carbs. they are good for you. your body needs them for energy. avoid simple sugars in general. i do not think it fix morgellons. only a well balanced diet will keep your immune system at its best to fight this.

I guess we all have to find our own way and figure out what works best and its not the same for everyone, i would agree complex carbs are good for most people but Im not going to continue eating something i know feed morgellons and causes more symptoms for myself. As usual not everyone gets the same results when trying to treat this

You got it friskers....... I still wonder why that is tho, ya know? Some of the differences we have seem to be pretty subtle while others (like the food) seem to be so extreme to me. It's wierd, just like the disease itself is I guess.
love ~~ bannannas
P.S. How is it even possible for you to get on a REAL peoples schedule freakerdeeks?!! (Just kiddin girlfriend!) I'm not havin any real bad flare ups, just the norm, but I'll take whatever hugs I can get, whenever I can get 'em! I love you too....... bunches!

BB - Thanks for your reply. I knew borax was a pesticide - but I only had only heard that boron was a supplemental mineral used to help with calcium utitlization. I would think that when you put it in your mouth to do "pulling" that you may inadvertently swallow a certain amount - so if you do it often, you may be getting more than what you need supplementally ? Maybe when you do the pulling, you should not take your daily intentionally swallowed dose of it ! Thanks again !
