Well, I'm so bummin'. I got fired and it wasn't fair. I need hugs. I'm so tired. But, the good side is I don't have to go to that HellHole anymore. But, now I gotta get a new job and I just don't want to. I want a job. I just don't want to go out and beg for decent employment at some little job where's there's so much needless drama and complete unfairness. Or at least not as much as the last 2 "insane asylums" (jobs) that I've endured the last few years. AAAAAAgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 You people with disability, be glad!!!!!!

Oh, God - I am soooo sorry godog!!! I just don't know how people find the strength to fight problems beyond our mutual nightmare. I wish there was something I could do besides pray for you. Bessie

I am sorry to hear it. I did go through that at the beginning of this year when I was so incredibly sick. I felt like you though, it was a relief to get out of there in a way, because there really was nothing I could do to fight the environment there. It hurt, and I loved the place, but I knew I had to get out of there, and it happened, just not the way I really wanted. It still kind of hurts to think about it now. But, it did allow me to pursue other avenues, I hope you find this to be true for yourself too. My best wishes........Northwest Missouri......Frito

Awww Godog, I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't even imagine. Those jack asses for letting you go. There's nothing worse than getting a NEW job (even under great circumstances), and all you're dealing with right now, and to have to go job hunt and all that, that's just awful. Sometimes though, you look back in a few weeks from now, and you might be sooooo glad this happened. You might say wow, that was definately a silver lining in that blasted cloud. Try and think of it like this, (and it's hard to right now) but....really think about this. Even though you or any of us don't know the reason for this or that - there is always one. And...we may find out "the reason" in a week from now, a month or a year from now. Or never. But, if you reflect on your life up till now, you'll see that alot of changes that happened in your life actually were beneficial to you. And had they stayed "the way they were" you might not be where you are today. I know Morgellons isn't a change we wanted...but what I mean (not counting) Morgellons, but look at events that took place in your life, even though they were painful or just a pain in the arce, but each "change led to something better"...or something that was really needed. To me...there is nothing worse than changes, because we all get so use to our routines and ways, no matter what it is, jobs, etc. But one thing that's a fact is - change is what's constant, and nothing stays the same. It's that ying and yang thing. Which we're glad nothing "stays" the same - yet we don't like when it changes either. But in the long run....I know you're going to be glad "something changed"....because when just one little thing changes, so do many other things in our lives change too. Who knows, maybe your secret love will be at the next place, haha (wanted to give you a good laugh), but....you never know! And I'm sending you a GIANT GIANT hug and Godog, (I don't remember if you'd seen that DVD The Secret) but now would be a great refresher with it. I rent that sucker every other month, (Mr Toni says to me...ooooh not again!) but just so it can become second nature to both of us, I do. It's got sooooo much good stuff in it which anyone can apply to their life, at any time. And I'm always hoping the best for you. Love Toni

Hi godog, I'm excited for ya. It seems you were working for a "wicked landowner" and now your inner prayers have been answered. A giant page has just turned in your life. And now since we know that all things work together for good for those who love god... (Rom 8:28) I can't help but say AMEN and may the Lord bless the next chapter of your life with much joy.

Yes, that was the hard part for me too Godog. The interviews. So I changed my thinking. I decided to treat my interviews as, me, checking out their company, to see if they deserve a good loyal worker. Are they, worth your time. This change made all those stressful times easier. Just think, 6 months down the road, you will have gained new friendships and contacts. Possibly finding new open doors to recovery. you never know
Hang in there Godog!

So sorry to hear that Godog, it is hard enough to get through the day with the itching and crawling and pretend it isn't happening but then to start interviewing .. make sure you check Craigslist for new jobs .. it changes hourly and is the' in thing' to post a help wanted now .. I am doing the search too because I changed jobs 4 months ago and this new company is so poorly managed that I am appalled at some of the decisions that go down... Good Luck

Dearest godog I know how horrible it is for you at the moment. stay POSITIVE THINK POSITIVE there is a job out there just for you!!!!!! It will take a lot of stamina to go through this but I KNOW THAT YOU WILL COME OUT THE OTHER SIDE and find some thing better. Just put the effort in and remember that we are always here for you. You might get turned down a couple of times but just keep on going and the right thing will come up for you. Love and big hugs. Roberta.

Hey babe....... have yourself a little fun in the meantime (too bad you never got those poppies, eh? ;D ;D....... kidding!) Like toni was saying....... constant change is here to stay, and without it we'd just stay stuck in ruts, right? Don't let it get to ya, look at it as an adventure in living....... or I guess I should say, an added adventure in living. It could be a good thing as far as getting your mind off of morgs and focusing on what will really make you happy, ya know? I'll pray for you to find something that just blows your skirt up!! I love you lots and I'm giving you a real big hug right now ~~ bannanny

Godog, time for the old unemployement line. Even if your fired, you can still get unemployment. Check it out. I think you can apply online too. So enjoy your summer, collect the unemployment and read up on how to interview to get the best job with the best pay. Network all your friends, family, neighbors, everyone everywhere. They say the best jobs to be had come from a referral. A professional resume will also get your foot in the door for the inerview. If you are a woman, try your local community college for a "women" program. A lot of times they will pay for a class to help get you motivated and build your self esteme and they usually have free counseling. In the meantime, be good to yourself, exercise, eat right, get lots of rest. They say to get up everyday like your going to work, get yourself dressed in a suit, and make a few hours of phone calls looking for a job. Then go and enjoy the rest of theday. I will pray that you have good courage and that God will bless your path and your get a job that you like and that you are surrounded by good healthy people. God bless you and take care, ChicagoBonnie

Thankyou everyone. I was almost afraid to look at my silly thread I started as changing jobs is well, not that bad I guess. I was whiney and feeling sorry for myself earlier today. Not to mention a few "drowning my sorrows" beers. Haha. Yes, I have applied for UI, so at least if nothing else, I'll have that. But thankyou everyone for the thumbs up and I was working too hard there, 9 and 10 hour shifts, which was part of the problem. I got fired for insubordination because I got mad at the night assistant manager cause he doesn't make anyone do their jobs and it falls on certain ones. Like me. Long story. But the crazy part is that he is so lazy, plus doesn't make sure that stuff gets done and is a registered sex offender too! This is a convenience store, so I don't understand that as we get lots and lots of kids in there, young people. Which that isn't my business I don't guess, but it is part of his problem as he spends so much time fllirting with the kitchen help if they're female, or the guys, they just stand around and leer at the women that come in. So when I get there, there's all this work that didn't get done. But he can open and close, so the psycho manager keeps him. I was never late, never missed a day and always did my work. But he got mad at me for telling him I wasn't doing their work while they sat on their ass. So, since I used the word ass, then that's why. But him and his little cronies can stand around and talk about how horny they are all day long instead of working. Geeze. Well, anyway, thanks guys, I'm over it and feel happy now. On to something better.
