Morgellons sure does seem like it's got a piece of everything and this too.
The only thing is Valley Fever (coccidioidomycosis) even severe cases can be successfully treated with Fluconazole, Itraconazole and a couple of other antifungals. I know alot of us have been prescribed these meds, (me too) was on them for months...to no avail for phasing Morgellons.

massena, If valley fever is realted to a fungus, I believe it is also connected to the morgs..
no proof, just a really strong gut feeling.

Hello Toni, All that I know is that it was a Fungicide and it was a generic band of drug that was given to him for a year and a half...and it's bad on your liver. My daughter has contact with him so she will try to find out for me. Also he was in jail doing time for a DUI when this med was given. It's kinda of weird but the other day when I was in San Cruz for a visit we met with a friend that we had not seen for 14 years and he said he had been sick for awhile now with flu like symptoms ....one wonders............................? Does he have morgs. also!!? It seems the more I find out about this stuff ,the worst it gets and it makes me think anyone that is sick is getting it one way or the other. Mostly when you see someone with a running nose or hair sticking straight up in the air or white stuff on their eye glasses or alot of hang nails or white spots or brown spots on their skin ...oh I could go on........ Now we have fires in CA to worry about what we are breathing... I'm not to far from the Chico /Paradise fires . take care, massena

I know questionhair who used to visit our board had valley fever but she got over it. She never really had a severe case of morgs, but she does have it. By severe, I mean she seemed to get it under control by eating all organic, shaving her head in the very beginning and taking alot of supplements. She has a thread on the supplements page still if you wanna look into it.
Wow, you're close to those fires girl. Stay well and I'll pray it keeps its distance from where you are. If anything happens, you're welcome to come and stay with me, k? They haven't really started yet down here in So Cal. Seems like up in N. Calif, you're having what we had here last year, huh?
Keep safe ~~ bannanny

I do believe it can certainly be related.
In fact, a while back......... someone posted
a link to a VAlley Fever support group pointing
out the similarities betweeen the two and the
fact that the CDC does not want to help.
Their support group (like us) have been attempting
to obtain help from the CDC for years and some
similar problems with getting the MD's to admit/accept.
That is how I remember it.
I believe who made the original post
here on LB, stating that perhaps Morgellons
could join forces with their group and
possibly accompolish more.
Does ANYONE else remember that post on VALLEY FEVER.
I also believe is was more of a huge problem in CALIFORNIA!
Imagine that!

Hi Liz, I know what you mean about san cruz matter of fact we took my daughter son on the big dipper and as you ride it a camera takes your picture (Just another way to make a buck) The expression on his face was PRICELESS!!! A dear friend of mine lives in APTOS and she also has morgs. ..she went to India to have both her hips fixed. She said it was cheaper there and she had family to stay with. I love the coast... Kmarie that would be interesting to talk to some of the people in that support group , the more people fighting this battle the better. I need to read up on it, but from what I was told is that they call it the San jaquin Valley fever cause it might of started there. But I think your right about it only is suppose to be in california. You notice i said suppose to be!!! massena

massena,
Yeah, definately noticed.
Morgs is suppose to be primarily in CA, TX, and FL.
But "we" know that to be something maybe to keep the PANIC under control and/or other reasons why they choose to pursue that option/ untruth.

I thought Valley Fever was caused by voluntary requests of being gagged by a spoon.
