When applying shampoo on hair, clear rainbow color like goo mostly on the scalp area over ears and near temples.
The hair in this area stays tangled no matter what I do.
What could this clear goo be? And does anyone get the impossible detangling?

Long hair? possibly the b. subtilis.......
wonder if used in shampoo and conditioners?

Have tried vinegar.....T-Gel with tar coal extract.....3% salycilic acid....everything......
that goo oozes from sides of scalp.....
looks like oil mixed with water....that rainbow effect.
numerous fibers from that area.... tangle almost immediately

Try a fungal animal shampoo from your local feed store.

Hi kamefromsky, I can relate to the rainbow colors, I see that sometimes in water after it rains or when I clean ed the back of my truck where the dogs used to ride, they had it bad. It's almost like oil that rides on top of the water with the rainbow colors. That water can seep right into your skin also and that's not a good thing. My hair tangles badly mostly around the back of my neck and temples more so if I sweat. I usually wear my hair in a ponytail or up with a clip. I have to use tons of conditioner and comb it out before I rinse it off than towel dry . I will have to try the vinegar good luck, massena

Dry shampoo your hair with TTO shampoo. Then work in baking soda and work it good. Rinse with vinegar, and condition with TTO shampoo. You can add TTO to your already existing shampoo & conditioner arsenal or you can buy them.

I have NOT had this, but know what I would do. First try Nizoral or similar product. If that doesn't work.... then; shampoo in shower. then; one cup vinegar, one cup hydrogen peroxide in warm bath no more than 5 inches deep. Soak your scalp, and body, everything but eyes - don't open them. (but does clean lashes) Rinse well and add conditioner if necessary. www.genesallnaturalproducts.comsite to buy decent, fragrant free shampoo and conditioner can't know for sure what is causing that, have you checked for holes / wounds to scalp?

Kamefromsky,
Oh yes! Like an oil slick of glue or tree sap. Yeppers!
I alternate things I use because some days, when I'm in the shower, no matter how much Pantene I use to detangle with a large toothed comb, it won't go through until I do this:
With dry hair put shampoo on top your head, about 1/8 cup if you have long hair.
Sprinkle baking soda 2 heaping tablespoons on top of that.
Then pour apple cider vinegar over that to saturate it.
It will then start fizzing, like an AlkaSeltzer.
Smooth it all to the ends of your hair (or where the glue is).
Let that sit on 5 mintues, then wash and condition.
And...if that doesn't do it enough....mix 3-5 tablespoons of lemon juice into an application of shampoo. It will slightly lighten your hair, because of the lemon acid. Sort of like hi-lights.
Don't mix the lemon juice though into your entire bottle of shampoo because it will mold if it's not refrigerated after that.
Hope that helps. I know it's what "cuts" the glue in my hair, and I can totally relate, I have long hair and unless the "glue" is out, there's no combing it.
And Pantene *Silky* is the best detangling conditioner I've used, and I've tried almost all of them now from the grocery store and the beauty supply store.
