Ditto to everything. I saw a quote on a National Geographic animal show about "hybrids". The quote? "If it doesn't exist in nature, it shouldn't exist" Is it too late? I wish it weren't but SO much monkeyng around has occured that I can't see how. On that show, they showed an animal that had squid gene inserted, and part of it glowed in the dark, like squids. The scarey part is ALL the offspring completely glowed in the dark, even with just one parent messed with. So it becomes permanent. How many foods, animals, plants, humans, bacteria, fungus, viruses have been tampered with? And if it spreads - well - how else can it turn out? God must be VERY angry! This is a bit more than eating the apple from the Tree of Knowledge. Bessie

I was involuntarily committed for 3 days due to suicidal thoughts because of Morgellons. I was terminated by my neurologist when I told him I was suffering from Morgellons; same with my gastro-enterologist. My priamry care never said to my face that I was nutz, but I'm sure she thought it! MRF used to have a link - "letters from families" where many families sent in letters about a member who'd committed suicide. Not sure why it's not there anymore, or if I'm just missing it. I would think the percentage is very high - and many of the people who did were below the radar. I talked to someone on the phone in OK who wrote the health newsletter for the store she worked in, telling her about Morgellons. She stopped me and asked me specific symptoms - biting, crawling, black specks - she HAD it! And she knew others who did, too - came about 2 years ago after aerial spraying over OK city. She did not know till that call what it was she had. How many more are out there??? An accurate number would be almost impossible - I'll bet the "known" number is 5% of the actual. Bessie

I got most of my blood work back that Dr. Hildy ordered. My silicon level is more than 7 times what would be considered a dangerous level in a work environment, calling for industrial remediation. Silicon covering on those nanotubes. I also had a high level of Barr-Epstein virus...and ammonia...does anyone else have lab reports to compare? Bessie ps - silica is normal in the body - silicon is not. Silicon is made from silica, but silica cannot be made from silicon.

Let's make this worse. Over 90% of household toothbrushes have e coli on them, because it flies around the room when the toilet is flushed with the cover up. Bessie

Sheesh - I had a very bad lung infection 3/07, and became symptomatic within 4-6 months (first biting, then lesions). Of course, it was never cultured, did not respond to antibiotic therapy, and also infected my sinuses and eyes. It finally began "going away" when I started using immunity boosters/vitamins, etc. I thought it might have been mold exposure... Bessie

Jane - AHA!! That's where the reference to "everybody has fibers" came from:
"Matthews postulates that Morgellons is a coming epidemic. Everyone, he says, has fibers. To prove it, he asked for my hand. He cleaned a ProScope, which magnifies the skin 200 times, with alcohol, and I washed my hand with antibacterial soap. Under the microscope, there in my palm, was what appeared to be a tiny red fiber embedded in the skin. Under the top of my fingernail, I saw a bright blue one. Matthews smiled triumphantly. "You see," he said. "Everyone has Morgellons." Other doctors, told of the fibers, dismissed them, saying Matthews's microscope probably found red blood vessels close to the surface of my skin, or a blue-colored vein. But they weren't sure." So now the plot really does thicken.... Bessie

"appearing to have gone off the edge for good" is now congruent with doing the appropriate thing to preserve your health. Isn't that exactly right??? I'm really curious, though - you have a lot of activity "upstairs" and you are evidently brilliant. Can I ask a naive question - are you smarter than you used to be?? I hate to tell you where most of my activity is...guess that says a lot about me! lol... Bessie

Prev - Re: the response to Grady, you sure have learned the art of "crisping"! Nothing equivocal about what you think! And I agree, and am getting terribly impatient with the "Tin Hat" treatment, though, thank God, I have found a doctor not far from me who believes it...and the way researchers are not collaborating. But at least Dr. Wymore and Dr. Staninger are publishing their results. It's too much for one person/group/foundation. If there ever was a time to reach out to other researchers, it is NOW. Oh - you forgot to mention the Manhattan Project - who'd have thought so many people could keep a secret like that? And the Muskegee junk....

Yes. And charged for a full hour (first one) though it was about half that. Mind you, this was for a private consult unrelated to MRF. I chose him because I knew he'd know something about the results of the black speck dna testing, and I wanted answers if there were any. Dr. Staninger charges $240 - and it's a one time charge. She's spent enormous amounts of time, coordinating with my doctor here, talking to me, etc. AND - she's probably made the most headway on figuring this thing out - afterall, she spent $29,000 getting the fiber content analyzed at MIT Woods Hole. It STILL boggles my mind that people don't accept her work. Is it that they don't trust the LAB??? This broke in August of 2006, and I STILL hear people saying, like on Coast-to-Coast "If we only knew what the fibers were composed of". I think that's why I'm pushing the envelope with this -RELIABLE INFORMATION is available but being ignored?!? WHY? Bessie

In my final defense, I will repeat that I was OVERCHARGED, and am in the process of trying to get some money back. I also stated that I could understand why the MRF was reluctant to share their findings. And I TOTALLY agree that sharing that information with the CDC would be appropriate. Of course not everything on the internet is correct - but the things I that I quoted are easily verified. With that said, I do regret having splurted that out - HOWEVER - wasn't anyone else following the MRF homepage last fall when they were posting the information? No one remembers that piece about the black specks? I kept going back to check for results because it seemed to be the only thing going on that might yield answers. I was crushed when they dropped it altogether. And - yes - they continue to do the best they can, including the last effort to have the CDC notify doctors of the ailment and symptoms (via letters to congressmen). That alone proves their sincerity. Bessie

In Dr. Kolb's most recent radio interview she alluded to a study by a researcher (she couldn't remember which one) who had taken biopsies of 18 "non-Morgellons" folks, and said the scientist found fibers in all subjects!!! Anyone know what study/researcher she is talking about? If that is true - and if the fibers are like "ours", i.e., high density plastic material, then - voila! Just a matter of time, I would guess... Well, we KNOW that humans have been cloned ("but were destroyed" - I forget what country made this claim). If he were cloned, he'd be just about the right age, huh? Remember the movie "the boys from Brazil". With something this freaky, ANYTHING is possible! Bessie

I have thought that remote sensing of various types was involved. I even heard - VERY faintly - a series of sounds at various pitches in my left ear. That is the ear that was sore and I could hear crackling in it for a few weeks before. I started holding a small ionizer to that ear for a couple nights, and then I heard the noise. The crackling, soreness disappeared. Did I chase "it" away, or totally mess it up using the ionizer? I keep this thing on the bed ALL the time, and I swear it is doing SOMETHING, as all the tingling in my hands is gone, too. Bessie
