It looks like the "camoflaged" state of the nematode life cycle. Look in spiderlegses Mite picture post in Morgellons at that pinkish thing. It doesn't have the fibers, but it crawled and attached itself.

It sure does to me! Speaking of nematodes (microscopic worms), did you know that since the late 80's (funny, I read on the Morgellons pages that some people have had the disease for about the last 20 years....any connection people???!)....... the U.S. govemment has been ALLOWING the use of a bunch of species of nematodes for cotton and other crops grown; the nematodes attack "certain" insect pests that attack the crops. They're using them instead of chemicals! In fact, they have websites where farmers can purchase BILLIONS of these nematodes! And there's no regulations on these worms; they're using them on other crops too. Who's to not say this could be the answer we've all been looking for in this mysterious skin disease that I too have been suffering since May, 2003, when I cut my arm lifting firewood. People should start inspecting their cotton clothing first off; use a hand magnifier with a tweezer built in; and check it out; I've seen movement in some cotton swabs I stick in my ears!! (funny my ears itch all the time!) and we oughta start taking our cotton items to researchers for investigation. Who knows? It could be true; the worms are infecting our clothes which are infecting us. Let's all tell the Morgellons people to look into this immediately. We are all tired of not having a life anymore.-----Mickey from Pa, USA.

Use castor oil in your ears to drown them. It works.
Anthill, I do know these things are very sharp. When I got a bunch of them loose with oil of oregano, I could feel them on my skin, but when I rubbed they simply cut into my skin and went back in. It literally felt like glass.
