Is it safe to use colloidal silver for 6 months without the chance of developing agraria?

I believe that there are only like 5 or 6 people known to have caused 'agraria' in themselves in the last 100 years. And note that those that who did suffered no known health affects. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about joining the rare and exclusive "Smurf" club. I have done lots of NutraSilver, ASAP silver, and SoverignSilver, I have not smurfed. It's usually caused by those that make thier own at home or in the past who did IV Silver (silver salts) and lots of it.
I am having some great results from ASAP silver right now. In the end, it's a judgement call, for instance, on the ASAP silver you can do their recommended dose for 70 years straight it says and still not be in the FDA danger zone. I do more than the recommended dose but not massive doses.
It's pretty hard to smurf to be honest. But I am not a doctor. I believe "life" on this forum had a mild silvering, she reversed it, but then, she said she abused silver and I'm not sure has ever really stated all of the facts, ie, how much, what kind, how silver did she get. It's not something that happens instantly (Unless you did IV massive does) it happens gradually from what I have heard.

Seven full safety studies have been completed on American Biotech Labs products. In vivo (living animal) tests have been completed, both injected and ingested at silver levels as high as 5000 milligrams per kilogram of a 32 part per million product. 5000 milligrams per kilogram is the equivalent of a 160 pound adult drinking 36 ounces of the American Biotech Labs 10 ppm product at one sitting. LD-50 tests have also been completed at a level of up to 200 times the normal adult dosage. All in vivo tests have shown that the American Biotech Labs products are completely non-toxic at all the levels tested. Cellular or cyto-toxicity tests have also been completed on both the 10 ppm and also the 22 ppm products. The tests were completed on both human epithelial cells and also on vero or African green monkey cells. The results in all the tests, showed that the products were completely non cyto-toxic to the human and monkey cells tested. In other words, both products were found to be completely safe, they did not hurt the human or monkey cells in any way, shape or form. Two studies at two independent labs have been completed testing the products against probiotic or helpful bacteria. One study was completed at a microbiology university lab facility and the other was completed at an international biopharma lab. In both studies it was found that the ABL supplement products would not harm the good and useful bacteria in the body at the levels at which they are being used. The argument remains how the product can differentiate between helpful and harmful bacteria, but the science demonstrates in fact that it can.www.americanbiotechlabs.com/safetyStudies.html

Grady, that's the one I take too from Biotech Labs. I buy it from Swanson's Vitamins. I only take one tsp a day. Kamefromsky, (just FYI, Swanson's Vitamins) has a "contact" email that one can ask them questions and they'll do their best to help anyone understand the in's and out's of different products they sell. I write them when I have a question too, which I did two days ago, on Saturday. They got right back to me, and I found that helpful in my question. I was wondering what the difference between (standardized and whole herb was) and here's the response: Dear ///////, Thank you for contacting Swanson Health Products! I am happy to explain! Herbal supplements are often available in two major forms, whole herb and standardized. Whole herbs, SW1157 Swanson Premium Brand Full Spectrum Wormwood, have a variable level of active components. Potency will vary with growing conditions and time of harvest. Whole herb products are generally the mildest form of an herb, and often have higher amounts recommended for suggested servings. Standardized herbs, SWH111 Swanson Superior Herbs Artemisinin (Wormwood), have a set percentage of active components that is consistent from batch to batch. Standardized herbs are not only more consistent than whole herbs, but more potent as well because the manufacturer can incorporate a higher percentage of active components during processing than the concentrations found in whole herbs. Recommended serving sizes are often smaller in terms of weight such as milligrams and in total number of capsules or tablets suggested per day. I hope this helps! Our quality, value and customer service have made Swanson Health Products a trusted source of nutritional supplements since 1969. To help us build this privileged relationship with you, we welcome your comments and suggestions. Best regards, Phillip E. customercare@swansonvitamins.com www.swansonvitamins.com

I have shied away from colloidal silver, using it sporadically, because I have unusual allergic reactions.
A number of years ago, I bought "Bare Minerals", a makeup consisting of minerals only. The product turns me gray. Luckily it washes off, but..........
I figured that I had makeup from a bad batch and exchanged the lot. Same thing happened.
Customer service told me that one of the minerals in the product does react to a very small percentage of their customers.
