Some of the photos on that link were claimed to have come out of one member on this site. And it was not Jan Smith.
Anyone recall who it was?

All the pix didn't load for me so I couldn't say whose are whose, but I think for the most part (what I saw anyway) they're all Jans. Thanks for the link sky, I never saw it before! Very nice site, cudos to Jan!

Fascinating as well as horrifying. Thank you, Jan. I am so very sorry for your suffering.
This is an outrage.

I have a mole/age spot on my wrist that at one point looked like the pentaconal faceted crystal array nanocone when looked at under the microscope.
Right next to this "mole/age spot" another one will appear, disappear, and then appear again. It's not right. Just not right.

Amazing pictures Jan! And I'm sure sorry you've had to go through so much with the sugery. It's all a crime shame!
I have a question, and please understand I'm only trying to understand. First I'd like to say, I know this Morgellons "could be nano technology related and gone awry". No different than the Mesotholima the infection caused by nano tubes in the lungs from consumer products.
But the question I have, and keep having is how can pictures that are taken at 200X be nano? Nano is a scale that particles of nano (well, it would take 80,000 nano particles to equal the width of a human hair). We don't have the capacity to see this stuff at 200X...so I am not understanding.
Thank you.

Toni - The structures in question have been assembled into larger, visible structures through self-assembly: "Molecular self-assembly is the assembly of molecules without guidance or management from an outside source. There are two types of self-assembly, intramolecular self-assembly and intermolecular self-assembly. Most often the term molecular self-assembly refers to intermolecular self-assembly, while the intramolecular analog is more commonly called folding." Perhaps the simplest way of understanding this exceedingly complex technology is to go to the nanotech 101 version at Wiki. Thanks Kmarie for posting the pics from that link.
Isn't that really odd, (that bluish fiber) in that stuff?
We should write this person and ask if those (fibers) are indicative to when this stuff is warmed or in it's development stages. You know?? Even that brown spot (looks familar) too.
Actually, I know they've shaped the star shape, but I'm not sure actually what is what. Are they displaying the yellow as "nano macro stuff"? Or the blue fiber, or is it all "one thing"?
I don't know, but it is interesting huh?

Toni & kmarie - That's a great explanation of "bottom up" assembly. And the connection with LIGHT as a method of reversing the process....well....!!! Funny, I started my "quest" for answers on Birdmites.org (most of the members there "graduate" from mite infestation to Morgellons), and one member said the tanning beds (uv B light) helped her. I started using them, sitting in the sun, and got full spectrum light bulbs (have UV light in the spectrum) throughout the house. It was helping. Bessie
