massena, I think pneumonia could have something to do with morgellons. I had it twice. I was diagnosed with FMS and I have heard that CFS people have a lung nematode. The phlegm from H is one of my worst symptoms, always a jelly like glob in the am when I rise. looks like a cyst of some sort. There is a lung infection with cysts I believe, too. The phlegm can also be foamy, frothy, stringy and super sticky. Mine also seems to have a mind of its own according to its projectile into the toilet, often missing and landing on the seat.

Yes, I too had bi-lateral pneumonia at least twice in the last 3 years. In fact, they never could identify the exact type it was...I thought that rather strange. The phlegm is so thick, stringy, gooey, and can stretch farther than you can imagine! It's worse in the AM like mfromcanda's, and it goes on all day long...especially after eating - that is, when I can eat. Everything just sticks in my throat these days like it's being trapped there or something. I wonder how many folks have had pneumonia and Morgellons started shortly thereafter? Interesting thought... Hugs to all, ctbarb

Hey thanks for the feed back.... Ruth , thanks for the article from Cliff Carnicom , and I hope you are doing ok, always love reading your about your thoughts and findings.
mfromcanada, yes I have had that thick flem you are talking about , I spit it into a jar of water and it's still out in my gararge. It looks stringy and there are some masses , I wonder if this is the stuff that causes tumors? Talking about a mind of it's own....... have you ever just choked for no reason at all?? I have many times and it's like I'm choking on my own spit but one time comes to mind ...was when I was sleeping and woke up and could hardly catch my breath...............scared the living s@it out of me. Hope you are doing well!!?
ctbarb, That was strange that they couldn't tell you what type you had , I know that is very important to as how they treat it . Hope you are doing well , I know you have had your share of problems but come back fighting all the time!!.
you girls are great, hugs massena

Massena -
I had the choking-on-your-saliva symptom about 3 years before full blown Morgellons. I have also read that it is a symptom in some. Very weird.

I don't even remember how many times I've had pneumonia and walking pneumonia... at least 7 times tho. But not since I've had morgellons. The only thing I've had since morgs that's close to it was a bronchial infection/flu kind of thing. I cough up that goopy gunk alot too.
I have aquired granulomas on my lungs tho since morgellons... not sure what that means. The doc orders x-rays every couple of months to watch them. I didn't get the last one tho. I'm mad at him for not wanting to hear about morgellons.

bannannys, do you ever wonder if that those were your first signs of things going bad and just maybe morgellons could have started back than but you didn't get it full blown untill 4-5 years ago. (I think that was how long you havwe had it?) I always wonder how long this s@it has been working on me and I can trace it back I think almost 20 years than all of a sudden when I was STRESSED OUT after two deaths in the family I got HIT HARD with it and that's when I noticed there was something wrong with me. Everything else through the years I brushed off ,, like a dummie , my body was trying to tell me things weren't right. Just a thought! Oh and Bessie I agree that is werid about choking , I think it's in our throats...well for that matter it's in all our organs even my spit take care. Big Hugs to you, massena

Funny, I've been sick these last couple of weeks...couldn't shake it... Now, it has turned into pneumonia. I'm moving sooooo slow. Still trying to work through it though, which is way hard.
