has anyone ever had a problem with itching? I've had this for several years but never really had a problem with itching until a few weeks ago, now it's driving me nuts. I can't sleep because I itch so bad. Mainly, it's my ears, behind my knees and the back of my legs on my calves and thighs. I'm concerned that this might preseede othder symptoms. I have had sores before but they were not bad. I'm a little afraid that after all of this itching, something worse will happen. Even my hands itch. This start a few weeks ago with my ears itching. I had morg in my ears a long time ago. I still do but it's not so bad as it used to be - well, the parasites that started all of this seem to have been gone for a long time. At least I do not have those horrendous sumptoms. I have morg on all of the areas where I had the initial parasite infections. They are gone but the morg remains.
Anyway, my question is what should I expect after all of this itching - just more itching? Or something worse?

I'm sorry Daniel... have you ever rubbed peppermint oil on you? You can even put it in your hair... it's what I use the most for my electrical sensations and it helps alot. So it might work for the itching too. I also think it's good if you don't scratch where you itch and try to leave it alone. It's the same as when someone gets poison ivy or something like that... when you scratch the itch it only makes it worse.
Maybe soaking in sea salt will help too. .. altho I've never done it cuz I can't bare to sit in a tub with all this stuff.
As far as what to expect next sweetie.. I can't say. We're all different and I've never had alot of itching myself. I just experience what feels like electricity zapping my skin and head with minor itching. But when I use the oil and try to leave it alone, it's what works best for me to make the symptoms subside.
love you ~~ bannanny

You might want to try an antihistamine.
I was told that by someone else too, and it works really well.

I agree w/Toni in that antibiotic can be of help. Over the counter try benadryl, perscription try hydroxine. Stay away from cortisone. I hope you find some relief. I have horrible issues w/itching on and off. Sometimes when its very bad my palms itch, ears and throat, scalp, and then anywhere else...lol. Oh also this has helped considerably-a couple cups of baking soda or sea salt and a couple cups or more of epsom salt in bath.use a loofah and gentlly scrub towards heart. Scrub whole body and soak for at least 20-30 minutes. Itching will be reduced.

Thanks everyone. I have been putting baking soda and salt in my baths. I never used to take baths, rather just showers but now I opt for baths. I think it's better for treating morg. Also after I bath, I briefly shower to wash any residue away. Maybe the hot water I have nbeen using is causing itch to be worse.

My ears itch too. I had bad infecions in my ears seven years ago morg and parasites - I saw the worms, and other spots as well. These are the spots that itch now. My ears itch like crazy, also my knees, behind my knees, and my calfs, plus now I have small sores all over my calfs now and a rash with bumps has developed on my back between my shoulders. The itching is like you said .. it's severe for several hours, then it goes away for a day or so, then it's back for several hours. Also, the bumps that develop, and the white crud under the skin in my groin area comes ang goes but in longer cycles. It gets really bad over several weeks and then after treating it as best I can, it goes away for a few weeks and then comes back again. One time I was picking a it and I pulled a worm out. I think it's parasies ha usually do not fully develop, rather they go through their first development cycles and then reproduce and die. Probably prefer to be hosted by oher animal raher than human. Anyway, his is a many faceted disease. Some people have parasites others it seems do not, they just have morg. I'm one of the unluckys, I had ons of parasies and sill have a few left along wih morg. I'm wondering if this is the natural cycle for the "organism" and maybe he reatments are not really doing anything ... mayme it would go away anyway as part of i's cycle and then come back again anyway even if I didn' treat it.

Dkushner,
Have you tried an antibacterial soap?
Just throwing out suggestions that have worked wonders for me.
I'm sure not saying "not" to go to a doctor, because that would probably be the ideal. But (if) they find nothing, and you're back on your own with the same problem - when I've had itching that has caused me to wish I could unzip my skin and take it off, I've found that simply taking a shower using:
Palmolive or Dawn or Ajax DISHsoap with the label saying *antibacterial dishsoap*, instantly stops the itching for the entire day.
I know to tell you what I've found as far as my morgs goes, is only "what I've found on myself everytime for the last several years which is what I see causes my itching".... so it may not be the same as what's causing your itching.
The black specks that are only microscopically seen, have been my culprit.
And when I get up in the morn, if I wait a couple hours longer than usual to take my shower, my itching will begin. But it's instantly gone as soon as I soap down in the hot shower with the (antibacterial) dish soap.

Whenever I've had areas of itching, it was always a buildup of the silicone material or the fibers under the skin. No one would probably advise this, but if you claw at the area with a clean fingernail, break the skin and scrape away all the foreign silicone and fiber material under the skin, the itching stops. Scratching like that, however, can cause other problems like infections and doctors saying that you are causing the whole problem. Scratching like that can leave an open lesion that does not heal well. Finding what causes the silicone and fibers to grow, and avoiding it would be a good thing to do.
p.s. your itching may be caused from something totally different.

Just a suggestion here, try soaking in a hot tub with two cups of cider vinegar, immerse yourself completely for at least an hour. then hit the areas that have been itchy with a dab of Heel-Tastic. This has brought my skin symptoms to an all-time low. Cured all the broken-down oozing areas, the ones it is impossible to keep totally dry.

I have had itching like that for MONTHS! It drives me nuts. I can attest to you that while YES, showers with sea salts, vinegar, peppermint, Dr. Bronner's soap, etc. etc. etc. help a LOT.....SWEATING is the thing that has singlehandedly helped me the most- especially with the itching. At first I tried a couple of tries at an infrared sauna nearby...and the itching was gone for at least a day without me having to do any special treatment. What i found has helped me the most with this disease is Bikram Yoga. Bikram Yoga is done in 105+ degree temperature for an hour 1/2. As you might guess, you sweat...a LOT. I've found the same exact thing that awareseattle found...it is a build-up of "stuff" under your skin. I have been fortunate to not have any lesions, and I'm convinced its because I sweat this out during yoga. Its disturbing, but it keeps my itch away for days. I have found a couple nodules under my skin that seem like they could get worse, but once this happens- i go to yoga and POOF! They go down. Your body WANTS to reject this stuff....if you don't let it happen through sweat or other means, I believe thats when the sores happen.
Try Bikram! Its really worth a shot...they don't pressure you and advice you to go at your own pace..its great for joints, etc. etc...
And no, I do not work for a Bikram yoga place, or what not...I just truly account my practice for saving my life...emotionally, physically, and now with this horrible disease.
Let me know if you have any questions!!!

Change your diet!! The itching is the result and the activity when you are feeding them. Cut out all sugar and flour products. Topicals wont help, need to heal with in. Look at Anti Candida diets. If I go off the diet and have a "Sugar" dessert I can feel itching within minutes then will go take a spoon full of Vinegar. Also Mucinex or generic also seems to help.
