OK guys, I went through the beginning of what I thought was going to be a horrible reinfestation. After spending an afternoon outside in the sun at a friends house, I first thought I had sunburned my legs really bad. They stung like the dickens all night long. well, when I got in the car the next day and the sun was shining on them, I noticed thousands of sparkles. As soon as I got home, I bent close to examine my legs- the red color was not coming from sunburn but fron hundreds of little red hemorrhagic spots- the kinds I had a few of(and still have to this day) at the beginning of all this mess 6 months ago. Well, do I need to tell you I broke down? I was beside myself. I wiped my legs w/ lotion, "sunburn" sting gone, not a good sign. I could see what sparkles were removed and who I still had to wipe at. By now, I'm feeling "them" instead. Anyway, I had already picked up some Aloe vera gel for the sunburn and I couldn't take the feeling anymore, so I grabbed a roll of toilet paper and headed out to my deck to get to work. I slopped the gel (clear, no color added) on, and immediately began to wipe it off. Well, I was removing hundreds of fibers! Talk about feeling sick to your stomach! I just kept wiping them off by the truckloads until I saw no more. In the days that followed, I started to feel the familiar sting/bite feeling that I hadn't experienced in months, and lo and behold, I'd find a tiny black speck in said area. Haven't dealt with the black specks much at all either for months. I was so disheartened and scared out of my wits. Would I have the strength to go through hell again? But I just got back on track as far as the diet goes(garlic, veggies, cider vinegar, and pomegranate), kept at the cleaning vigil as always, and in just a couple of more days, Iwas back to normal. (which these days is not perfect, but I'll take it) My point in all of this is, I think that by using the aloe gel and removing literally hundreds that day, I avoided the horrible reinfestation. So ALOE VERA GEL as a removal, try it. Put it on when your feeling itchy, and wipe it off using some muscle. I bought the cheap store brand and still have plenty of it left. Hope it works for someone out there!
