Last night I took 4 of the 40 lb packets of SAFEGUARD, that's enough for 160 lbs, however, I think the dose should probably be lower as dogs require more if I'm not mistaken. I did feel a rush and warm right after taking it, but I was totally freaking out that I had even taken it and I think it was merely a panick reaction.
I'm at work and feeling fine, I took it last night at July 19th, 2006 at 11:00 EST. It's too early to tell if or what it did, but I did wake up this morning, so that's good. My plan is to do all three days in a row. I mixed in it with a bowl of plain yogurt.

I took 2500mg fenbendazole yesterday and as u said i got a warm feeling in the body and alittle nausea but it went over fast. If i would go after the bodyweight i should have taken more around 4000mg or so.no itchies crawlies whatsoever today but i hardly had them the last couple of days either only a little.
will also keep you all updated

I know it's too early to probably really know yet, but I am amazed how clear my mind is, I'm here at work and really cranking, not anxious over Morgs, even the fresh step in my bounce seems to be there. The gloom and doom has lifted for me, perhaps the secretions of these things play heck with the mind (or perhaps they're in the brain area). Either way, I do seem to feel a clarity I haven't had in quite some time. I'll report back tomorrow after tonights dose, I think I'm only going to do 80 lbs worth, or two packets this time, I'm sure humans should take less than dogs.
I am feeling crawlies still yet, it like work is infected with the stuff, or perhaps they're dying, it's hasn't even been 24 hours yet so what did I expect, a 30 second complete cure?

According-to info I researched about Fenben is-that it's toxicity-level couldn't even be found in-one study (dogs) (>x10,000 recommended), meaning a *lot* had no ill-effects (dogs and other animals), and-also-that around 50% is excreted unabsorbed (which is Critter Hell for our "friends" in the lower-tract)...

Also I found a post (didn't keep the link, duh!) where a guy stuck a whole tube in his horse's mouth.
He couldn't get the product to come-out,so-he squeezed the hell out-of the tube, and *POP!* there-went the whole tube-full AND the cap, (which he had forgotten to remove!) right on down the horse...
He completely-freaked and called the Vet, who told him "No harm done, just a well-wormed horse"!!

Wow, I shoulda bought mine at Petsmart, but I ordered mine online, it's in packets of granules, I haven't gotten it yet. I am very encouraged by Opto's posts, the clear head. The brain fog has really cost me, job-wise, so I am very excited by this. I just got home from work and raced to the computer to see what the word was fenben-wise. I can't wait!!!! Thanks guys for the info.

So-true...even the tiny amount in Homeopathics can cause a reaction...
BTW, I got-some "Pancur" and it's for horses...
I'm 240lbs, and too-fat or big for the dog remedies (SureGuard), I believe.
Which brings me to a point...These are WAY different for dosing...
"SureGuard" (dogs) for purposes-of-dosing is 22% Fenben, and "Pancur" for horses is 10% Fenben.....
The math will drive you (me) nuts!
Just remember that the "Pancur" (horses) is HALF the strength as the "Sureguard" (dogs)...
Confusing-enough??
I HATE DOSING MYSELF WITH ALLOPATHICS...SOMEBODY TELL THE DOCS THIS WORKS PLEASE!!
Right-now I'm treating my cat with it...VERY positive!

This-was on the link posted-by "tonie". Really excellent and timely!!
Visceral larva migrans. Successful treatment with fenbendazole (author's transl)]
[Article in German]
Wolff C.
Visceral Larva migrans (VLM) is a parasite, which produces a disease by nematode species. Specific hosts are certain mammals. After penetrating the human organism, these parasites never mature to adult worms but can produce a lot of various symptoms which are dependent on the kind of manifestation. Perilous illnesses are described. The incidence is undoubtedly more than is realized. A new microprecipitation test has proved to be highly specific for the diagnosis. An effective nontoxic treatment in human medicine--exept for mebendazole--was not known until now. We report about the illness of a patient with all typical laboratory findings and clinical signs. The application of Fenbendazole for the first time in humans showed to be highly effective against this ubiquitous illness.

Ok, checked my mail and got mine, it's fenbendazole for horses, it says net wt. 5.2 grams granules 22.2% Also says, contents of 1 packet will deworm a horse weighing 500 lbs. So, half the packet will worm someone 250 lbs, I weigh about 145, so counting the "chicken factor" I'd say, to take half that 250lb dose, so 1/4 of the packet for someone 125 lbs. Does that sound right?

In other words, I'm 145 but I'm chicken, so to be safe take the 125lb amount which should be 1/4 of the packet, right?
