FDA, USDA, CPSC (product 'safety' commission), EPA, CDC, either asleep or adrift or getting paid to look the other way, while the Bush Admin. undermines the public trust. Legislation for consumer safety blocked, stymied, and stalled, while committees are appointed to conduct studies to make our government 'look good'.
Unfortunately, this is the same tired old song-and-dance routine that we have been lead to expect. We have learned to Kowtow to China and say 'pass the poison' because there is big money to made in toxic imported seafood, lead laced toys, antifreeze enhanced medications, salmonella spice mixture, pesticide covered mushrooms, and that's just the tip of the pile.
Where money speaks, truth is silent. What you don't know will hurt you, and our government doesn't want you to know.

Ive nevr had trouble with new cloths bothering me so I figured I just needed to wash it a few times. Well the day after I wore it my breasts didnt feel right internally and the only way to descibe the feeling was as if my breasts had been posioned, Im very suspitious now !! Dont buy this bra! I cant find out where its imported from but its imported.

Hi jwf You have hit the nail on the head!!!!!!!! Same in this country. This is not going to go away!!!! It is global It might sound ridiculous but I think that we should only buy anything from APPROVED COUNTRIES. Inspected and approved by an organisation specifically for that purpose. Good post!!! Best wishes. Roberta.

Dear friski for the last couple of years my bras have made me itch soooo much. I have soaked them in boiing water disenfectant ammonia and they still make me itch. I just cann't wear them anymore. Yesterday I put a jumper on and after 10 minutes I was just about mental with the itching. Last week I put on a brand new pair of tights and once again the itching was outrageous so out they go.Something that I have always advocated is putting everything you can in the sun including yourself (with a good sun block) Well during the radio programme about China it said that one of the best things to do was to put everything you can out in the sun including shoes handbags etc. Apparantly the embalming stuff breaks down when in the sun. Thanks so much for your post. Love and best wishes. Roberta.

Dear friski throw i t out!!!! I have tried with jumpers, bras tights jeans that have made me itch so terribly really good clothes dressess tops etc. I usually try and wear them three times after washing etc and if I still itch out they go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That also applies to my undies friski. I just cannot tolerate this itch much longer it really gets me down and my daughter asks me where is the top I gave you or the pyjamas. I just say that they are in the wash. I know that she doesn't believe me but that settles the subject for the time being as she belives that I am DOP> Which hurts soooo much!!!!an you go without a bra? It is much easier in the winter because we wear soo many clothes and layer things. Not so easy to do in the Summer. Think of yourself and the reaction you have to this bra. Is it worth it? ? No No No! Love and best wishes. Roberta.

here is what i've learned about my clothes for what it's worth to anyone. i don't buy ANYTHING cotton any more. i buy nylon or polyester silky type material or woven windbreaker type material. sometimes it has to be put in the sun with alcohol and vinegar sprayed on it before i even wear it. this type of material can always be decontaminated with several hours in the sun AND the alcohol/vinegar spray, even a bra, but i know what you mean they're more likely to itch cause thehy're so tight. i don't wear underwear any more. it's just another thing to get contaminated. i live in a desert state so there will be plenty of sun, cause i don't know any other way to get rid of that horrible itch. ALSO--washing it makes it worse!!!!! what i do is first make sure it's decontaminated, THEN wash it with baking soda and vinegar and very little rinse water, then spray it with alc. & vinegar & put it in the sun. THAT way it hardly ever gets contaminated. If you don't like the smell of vinegar you're screwed, but the baking soda neutralizes the smell. Otherwise the bugs spread in the water and you may never get it debugged. it's a total nightmare.
