I am 4 1/2 weeks into this unfortunate "lifestyle" and have found comfort in reading about others with symptoms such as mine. (Crawling skin, bites from invisible things, fibers/crystals appearing, black seeds coming out of my body that look very strange under a microscope, etc.) Thanks be to God that I found this board so soon as I know I am not crazy. However, my family thinks I am and I am being REQUIRED to go to a Psychiatrist next week. Can anyone please supply me the name of a Doctor in the Atlanta area that could possibly get me in to see them quickly? I have not been tested for Lyme's. I have only been diagnosed with Scabies (visual testing) when I visited the emergency room after an attack from unknown "insect" while cleaning a very nasty rental house of mine. My ankles, which swelled 3 times their normal size immediately after this attack, have only gone down to about 1 time their normal size. (It's amazing my crazy head was able to induce this swelling). Please help as my family WILL force me to follow their instructions dictated by their selected Psychiatrist. My only other option would be to go on the run with my 10 year old son and that doesn't seem like a sane persons reaction. Thank you.

Thanks for all the links. I have forwarded 3 links in the past to them but will forward these. I know this is hard for people to understand and accept so just maybe these additional sites will give credibility to my claims. I just hope and pray that my unsupportive husband, who saw the collembolla at the rental house will soon step up and admit my claims are real. It's just easier at this time to make me shut-up and go to for a psych visiit. There is no doubt that I turned this situation to an unfavorable stance when I refused to go back to the rental house and suggested that I contact the CDC about turning it over to them for research. (It sort of pisses people off when I'm willing to forgo $1,200 a month rental income in return for resolving health issues.)
To me this house would be a perfect study for the CDC as it is located about 20 minutes from their Atlanta headquarters. Oh well, maybe the psych. that my family selected for me will not find my "too crazy" and allow me to return home next Tuesday. I am certainly not going to mention anything about fibers or crawling skin. Thanks again for all the links.
