Obviously part of my brain has been on a break.
Things are coming back to me about the beginning of my symptoms, from out of no where, just having serious recall lately.
I do REMEMBER at the very onset of this nighmare I had 2 severely itchy spots on my scalp! And one behind my left ear.
I used Neosporin (not the pain free one) JUST the plain Neosporin on the spots for 3-4 days, and have NEVER had that return.
After that when I began getting all the lesions all over my body and face, I think that I thought Neosporin wouldn't be "powerful" enough and then beginning the doctor visits and all...totally got me going other directions and in using all kinds of different things.
Not that Neo will rid this, but I believe it's safe enough for anyone to try on their heads....ONLY a thin spread of it, more IS NOT better because it's transdermal...so please don't try and blast it away with one application.
But...try it on your scalp lesions, sure can't hurt. And do this for at least 3 days, 2X a day apply it "thinly" without a cover, no bandaids etc.
This is "only" a suggestion, and because it has come back to my recollection, you may want to try it too since it WORKED for mine and I've NEVER SiNCE had a lesion on my scalp.

You're right Tonie. I use Neo on mine and they do heal alot faster using this. Neo is wonderful stuff. Also you are right again about the more is not better. BUT I've not tried it in my head. I don't have lesions but I have places that seems like there is some sort of build-up in several spots. When I wash my hair it feels like I can't get my scalp wet enough. I've had tea tree oil on them for about 2 hours today. I think I'll apply some neo too. Can't hurt. Thanks for the info. Oh, I'm sorry I never did thank you for the answer to my pm. I sure do appreciate it. and now I remember reading about that. uhm..uhm..uhm.

Neosporin type gell is one of the things I have used as a rub on my skin. It helped expell particles off my face and arms. I think this critter is bacterial so neosporin would help.

Tonie, my daughters friend had one of the scalp sores and it was cancer. the dr.removed it, the size of a nickel, i seen it. do u think some of us could in up with scalp cancer?i don't think we should scratch them. and we should keep them clean. and it is a real good ideal to use the neo.

OMG I thought I was going to lose all my hair! I heard a lot of popping noise and some goffey stuff droping down. I had a white t-shirt and it got cover with some pink stuff and lite blue fibers. but the pink stuff looked like running color my hair is dark brown with some grey. the hair was moving I could feel it, smelled like burn too. but no after I took it off it looked very good and healthy.

Oh shoot wanted to talk about the neosporin and forgot that fast, gonna change my middle name to Brainfogged It's wonderful stuff. The nurses were using silver on Joshua's lesions and I hated what it did to them. I sometimes used the neosporin on him and I felt it was much better than the silver.

cyn, Could you please elaborate on the information you present in your signature line? What are the 3 bacterial pathogens that show up? Also could you explain the 'proinflamatory markers'? I agree with your other material. The slow capillary refill is noted in "Mold Warriors" book as a sign of bio-toxins.

Lydski,
I know what you mean about the "buildup" on the scalp. After a "treatment" I'd had, to remove some lines on my upper face (before I knew I had Morgs) I got this mega crusty buildup, almost like layers of light yellowish crud around the sides of my hairline...like a crust that was glued on..... "cradle cap" is what the doc said it was, but it was probably the beginning of this too, I just didn't know any better.
He told me to use a low strength salicylic, "like T-Sal" shampoo and gently take a tooth brush and lightly scrub that off after I was in a warm shower under the water to help loosen it, which that did remove it.
Then afterwards to use a "low strength" like 3% salicylic cream/lotion to change the structure of those cells, as they were "dividing" too fast, which causes a buildup of dead cells on the surface, and that would normalize them, and it all worked.
(That too is why I love that copper peptide serum from Platinum Skin Care), as they sell two different ones, but one of them has 3% salicylic in it, and that also stimulates the follicles and keeps them functioning normally without anything in our system clogging them up, because hair follicles will literally get choked off, then the hair falls out due to "congestion of the follicle", and can't be replaced as the hair follicle then dies. No reversing that situation. So "preventative measure" is critical.
There are many brands, I only like that one because it can be used completely safely on the skin or scalp (as long as you're not allergic to aspirin), and I've used it for so long with excellent results always.
Please for your "hairs" sake look into those things, there's lots of reading about hair follicles, how hearty they are, yet fragile if they're "plugged" and hair loss is what happens when a hair follicle remains 'congested/plugged'.
I wonder if you have the same thing I had gotten, because when you said you can't seem to get your scalp wet, sure sounds familar to me.
The neosporin will not "debride" that crust, it will only add to it, the base ingredients added to the neosporin will slowly adhere to that. So maybe "getting it gone" first, then using the neo would help you greatly.

Following a doctor's recommendations, cradle cap may be treated with OTC medicated dandruff shampoos containing either selinium sulfide, zinc pyrithione, or salicylic acid. www.omnimedicalsearch.com/conditions-diseases/cradle-cap.htmlI only prefer "salicylics" over all the rest because of any ingredients because "selinium sulfide" in shampoos can in itself over time cause hair loss too which is in many "dandruff shampoos" and salicylics can be used without irreversible damage.

Tonie- THANK YOU SO MUCH!! You are a godsend..
I never thought about cradle cap but that is exactly what this is like. I remember Kappy (my daughter) had cradle cap when she was about 5 and my mom took her outside, sit here on a stool, put baby oil on the places and then took a fine tooth comb and literally comed her hair until she got it all out. The only difference here is that I don't remember the gluey stuff with her. It was just more crusty stuff. It still was hard to remove but not nearly like this.
Hey I thought i had told you but I did get the copper peptitude serum from Platnium skin care. BUT I'v not used it in my hair. So I should just put it all over my scalp? I sure hate to waste it that way, but I will if it will get rid of this stuff.
My eyebrows are extremely bad too. I shaved them quite a while ago and boy did I get some comments from friends and family. Most of them just rolled their eyes. (like they were thinking 'and you really think this is going to help your DOP')
Thanks again for your input on this!!!

lymebusters.proboards39.com/index.cgi?board=rash&action=display&thread=1158446084lydski started a great thread (above) the whole informative thread is below If you have scalp issues - it's a good one to study: ================= From a post on Lymebusters - here's my favorite part, an excerpt from the whole thread, below: " . . . Subject: Re: Entymology/Insects specialist From: lalla-ga on 04 Oct 2004 11:57 PDT I think this problem is often compounded by a fungal scalp infection, which is commonly caught from cats, or from fomites from their fur, deposited on soft furnishings etc. As I've said, dermatophytes often give off a fruity odour, (particularly when dying), and this is attractive to the keen sense of smell possessed by fruit flies. Furthermore, some dermatophytes, (invisible to the naked eye), growing rapidly and unchecked, branch into hyphae, then myceliae, both of which are visible, looking like whiteish threads. Minute pores are propagated and dropped, increasing the infection. The resourceful hyphae can change shape, e.g. appear 'fluffy', can 'sprout' hooks that burrow painfully into the scalp, and can inject allergens into the sufferer. Painful furuncles, or furunculosis, can occur in the scalp, sometimes resulting in secondary infection, and increasing the attractiveness to egg-laying flies, (or other biting insects with the eggs already laid on them). Larvae may opportunistically burrow into the ready made furuncles, and scalp myiasis has begun. . ." ====================== Here's the whole thing: answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=232167

Lydski,
Oh yes! Here's how you use that on your "brows and scalp".
This will totally get your brows and skin of your scalp back to normal "where the "crud" is involved.
Use "equal" parts of "good water" to the copper peptide serum. Like bottled water.
So if you put into an "eye dropper bottle for instance-or anything with a dropper" by the way that works really well for this too....take and put 20 drops of the "blue copper peptide serum" and 20 drops of water to that.
Shake that up, and viola! You're good to go...just drip those drops onto your scalp and tap with your fingers to get it good on your scalp and not waste it getting it into the "hair"...just want it on the scalp. Same with your brows...just need two drops there. And tap it on and leave it as long as you can. Won't hurt a thing, your follicles and skin will love it.
If it tingles, that's totally normal. This can be used 24/7. But you won't need it longer, cause it will all clear up.
Now, it's great for skin rejuvenation...but you can do that after you get the "crud buildup gone".
hugs...Toni
Oh and yes, oil "mineral or olive" for "cradle cap" in children is generally used "ONLY" cause it's gentler for a child, as salicylics are too strong and irritating for kids under a year old on their tender skin. But us, heck we can take the dynamite, hahhaa

This is included in the above link. "The saliva test can be done, entailing putting (your own) saliva on the furuncular surface. If this then froths, the presence of a maggot is indicated"
I get frothing on almost every hair on my face. Does anyone else get this??
If you go to the General Health Board catagory then to QH's thread on there regarding scalp infestations you can read the whole articles there. Lots of information there.

Today I've been trying some vicks vapor rub on my hair. I didn't think anyone could have so many gel like thingies on one's head. Also put some on my face and my lashes some much came out of them even the brown spot I thought was a mold part of it came off.
