Hi Kerry and anyone else suffering from this,
I read the thread but don't know where it is at presently.
I believe it was taratula, or possibly it was Charley,
who said her Lyme doc had put her on bromelain to help to destroy the fibrin building up in the blood.
It may have been to treat babeosis symptoms... if my memory serves me.

Thanks Spec. The Dr also told me yesterday that Fish Oil 3 times a day will do the trick as well.. and prevent me from a stroke. The asperin was tearing up my stomach for some reason...giving me a tummy ache since the day I started taking it. I will ask her about this stuff tho.. my babesia is gone but maybe we can get away with getting some.. ya never know what insurance will or wont pay for..

I have the thicking of blood, and came close to having to take heprin. So far I don't have to. I think the test done is called Pit (platelet) it tells the doc how well blood is flowing. A simple baby asprin w/meal is sometimes suggested. Kerry I hope u feel better. ((((((HUG))))))

Whoops! I have not gone insane, sorry for the strange post. I had to reactivate my account for some reason, and tried to cut and paste my post again but pasted the activation code instead Here is what I was trying to say: Hi to all. I am taking Serrapeptase to thin my blood. Nattokinase and Lumbrokinase should be the first choice, but they are really expensive and I am hyperalletrgic to white beans (they are made from white bean enzyme), so I haven't tried those. Bromelain is also supposed to help, taken on an empty stomach, but the others are better. I haven't had another live blood analysis yet to see if it is working (can't afford it), but I am no longer getting pains in the back of my thighs when sitting at the PC, which I did a while ago and was due to thick blood clogging around the area where the thigh meets the edge of the chair. I am currently taking salt/C, and am hoping the thinner blood will help this circulate more effectively.

Listen, we have been taking the fish iol three times daily, and it helps, bigtime. No more headaches. I can always tell when I have some pain and have to take an anti-inflammatory that I feel so much better. I don't know what goes on inside, but this helps. Also, I am a type-A neg., blood, and we have thick blood anyway. FIsh iol. Try this, Jodyann. Luvs.
