On Tuesday, June 14, Rep. Christopher Smith of New Jersey introduced a new Lyme bill into the federal House of Representatives, HR 2877. This bill will appropriate funds for Lyme research into treatment for chronic Lyme and for research to improve testing. This bill provides more funds for research than the bill introduced by Rep. Sue Kelly (HR 2526) on May 22. Please contact your representatives and ask them to co-sponsor the bill, and ask your senators to support a strong bill like this in the Senate. Your representatives and senators are listed at www.visi.com/juan/congress . In a few days, you will be able to read the bill at thomas.loc.gov/ . Last year the Senate passed a Lyme bill, but it did not make it to the floor of the House. This year we hope both houses of Congress will pass a good Lyme bill and have it signed into law.

Wonder if they could add a Morgellons rider to the proposed bill?
