I will ask you all now.. to write a letter speaking your mind.
All who have been diagnosed with Lyme thru Igenex, going to Lyme Drs.. getting any kind of help from the Lyme community!
These Drs and labs are the only ones even making an effort to help us here.. lets stand together and fight for what is right!
Here is a letter with an email addy (2 email addys)..
You know what to do gang.. slam em!!

"Today something drastic and extremely disappointing happened to the Lyme community. A terrible article came out in the NY Times, making it look as though Lyme is over diagnosed and that IGeneX is an unreputable lab. Really shoddy investigative reporting, but its effect will be very damaging. This is the article that we thought was going to be pulled when we all wrote letters in advance of its publication a few months ago. Unfortunately, they published it anyway.
This is an important time to write letters to the NY Times. There is a 150 word limit which is pretty short. The shorter the better I've found – even a few sentences will do. We're looking for quantity, not quality right now!
Always include your full name and mailing address and phone number or they will never publish your letter. What you need to say is that if it weren't for IGeneX, you would not have been diagnosed and not have gotten better. The example they give of the patient in Dallas is ridiculous. They say his first tests were negative, and then the IGeneX tests were positive and after starting treatment he got much worse (duh, we all know what that is – the Herx!). Then he went to the Mayo clinic and thank God found out that he really didn't have Lyme after all (read with tone of sarcasm in your voice….)
