FYI - I was going to a wedding in Colombia in December and while googling info came across this. It's always been unerving how syphilis and bb are soooo similar. Both spirochetes, both have basically same symptoms with stages of progression. Yet one... is easily rid from your body. Or is it? Hmmmm... IgG antibody reactivity to Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto antigens in patients with morphea in Colombia.
Palacios R, Torres A, Trujillo R.
Centro Internacional de Entrenamiento e Investigaciones Medicas (CIDEIM), Cali, Colombia.
BACKGROUND: Morphea and lichen sclerosus et atrophicus (LSA) are sclerotic skin lesions of unknown etiology involving connective tissue. The hypothesis of a borrelial origin of morphea and LSA is currently controversial. METHODS: Immunoglobulin G (IgG) immunoblot serologies against Borrelia burgdorferi in patients with morphea and LSA were analyzed and compared with those from healthy donors and patients with syphilis to determine the association with a probable borrelial agent in Colombia. RESULTS: No significant differences in the number of reactive antigenic bands were found between morphea/LSA patients and syphilis patients or healthy donors. The presence of at least one of the following bands, p28, p39, or p45, was the criterion most able to distinguish morphea/LSA, yielding a specificity of 95% and a sensitivity of 28.6%. Using this criterion as evidence of putative exposure to a causative borrelial agent, sclerotic skin lesions had an odds ratio of 7.60 (95% confidence interval, 1.47-39.23). CONCLUSIONS: These results could be explained by cross-reactivity; however, the partial shared reactivity of sera from patients with syphilis and morphea/LSA does not rule out the possibility that a new spirochetal agent, unrelated to B. burgdorferi or Treponemas, may be the causative agent of morphea/LSA in Colombia.

In 1984, while attempting to enlist in the Army, I was told that I had syphillis. I was a virgin, but the doctors didn't believe me (sound familiar?) Nevertheless, I did have a bite of some sort three years earlier that left two circular rashes on my face. They took three months to heal. My pharmacist told my parents that I had "poison oak." In 1992, I had my first noticable onslaught of Morgellons symptoms. Over ten years later, I'm a mother of three, all of whom have Morgellons. Last year I acquired the honerable titile of DOP by UCDavis' best and brightest (or so he thinks). I don't consult doctors anymore--I fear if I do they will take my children. They only add to the panic and horror of what is going on. If this ship is sinking, let it sink with all of the love and support a mother can give.
Two of my children have nero issues (ADHD, ADLD), the youngest is too little to tell. Nonetheless, I've been able to find ways to "keep our heads above water" so far.
If I ever had syphillis, I suspect it will kill me because I was never treated...but I don't think it was a syphillis bug that turned that test positive. Yes, they are all bacterial cousins.
Take Care, Linda

These illnesses! Thought these bug bites were essentially harmless, well we learn as we go.
A good friend of mine has been suffering from MS for about 20 years now. Her son was my friend and he died after suffering a myriad of unexplained ills, to which the doctor did basically nothing. Earlier he had his spleen removed due to its rupture. LYME LYME LYME..
They always went fishing here at Lake Pleasant north of Phoenix.
If we are a susceptible population, well that could explain many things.
I spoke with my friend recently (the Mom) who has MS, and told her of the possibility of Lyme disease mimicking MS, and what do you suppose she told me, but in her early teens, she had the awful itchy thing on her scalp (at the lake) and her mother removed it, it was a tick. So, I guess that would have been close to 20 years later when the MS symptoms erupted. Up until then, she was a bright, healthy, enthusiastic single (divorced) mother of two. Raising them and progressing in a career with the telephone company. Of course, She still is a wonderful person, but what an awful toll this has taken on her life.
She was interested to learn more about the connection. I must say though that she is on a special new medication for MS and her mental functioning is so much improved. (Possible of course to have Lyme and MS..) So, the medication they are giving her for MS.. if truly Lyme disease... hmmmm!

Hi Linda, spec, and DOCP, From:
www.revoptom.com/handbook/sect7f.htm
Lyme disease, another spirochetal disease, is also a great mimic and behaves very similar to syphilis. In fact, Lyme disease can cause false-positive readings on both specific and non-specific tests for syphilis. Always consider Lyme disease as a possibility when testing for syphilis, particularly in cases where a history of sexual contact is absent. In these cases, particularly in endemic areas, try to elicit a history of tick bite.

I dont think what we have is Syphilis...maybe some do? It would affect the genitalia moreso.. But I do think the spirochete has been messed with by man.. Well.. I know it has. The evidence of what went on at Plum Island tells us that.. I believe, like AIDS, that the scientists messed with a concoction of things including virus of all kinds to make one deadly, hard to detect disease.. for whatever reasons.. Making deadly diseases to protect us in war? Just to see if they can find the cure? Or maybe because they are just sick in the head...thats my guess. So the Lyme we have today isnt the Lyme that people had 60 years ago.. I have a book that described the history of Lyme and indeed back then the weeks of antibiotics did cure the Lyme back then that wasnt even called Lyme yet. I believe what we are dealing with is New Lyme.. or.. Lyme that has been weaponized.. a few things also added for good measure..etc.. Think about it.. they have weaponized just about everything else.. why not the spirochete? Afterall.. it could be used as a great imitator making it hard to figure out.. and drive people insane as well as physically disable them.... Anyway... Here is some interesting history on Syphilis.......... Also read about "Yaws" in here... another interesting disease......................... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaws

Kerry, I agree w/ u for sure. This is a new lyme. The rest of your post, indeed I would believe there r stupid people who would risk our lives for (using a spirochete) why? Probably just because they can. So they r already insane lets just hope they got sick too.

Kerry,
I read the article on the doctor who came up with the name Lymes, now, won't treat longer than 3 weeks. I wonder if Lymes itself is a bioweapon to begin with. Collembola and ticks and fruitflies have been used in past as vectors of bioweapons. Plum Island is so close to where the children first got it. Rheumatoid arthritis doesn't just appear. I do believe that so much the NIH, and CDC have suppressed is so harmful. Thank you for that article.
I too, thought of syphilis, because the shapes are similar to lymes spirochetes. That is like BT being so similar to BA, baccillus anthracis. Just different rod lengths.
I agree it is what could be called a new Lymes disease, but, I do believe we need to expose what it really is, bioweapon, either accidental or intentional.
Many have written books about this already, but, there has to be a way that we can get the medical community behind us, unless, they think it is too large a problem and will only treat the symptoms, not the real cause. Then we need to encourage them, especially the doctors, to look at this in an investigative manner. There are investigators at some medical colleges, now, but, I do not know what they are actually investigating unless it is for the genoming program to prevent cloning. I know Duke University has a program like that. I will see if I can find the website on that.

Research the history of Lyme Disease and Allen Steere's involvement. Its very odd how he jumped in to figure out the crazy disease.. lay claim to it.. get promoted into areas where money was more abundant.. and then change his tune that fast. I have heard all kinds of stories..(I wasnt there.. just know what Ive read) basically that he is being paid off by Insurance companies so they can use his words as en excuse to not pay for long term Lyme treatment.. this along with his attack on Burrescano who proved his point and more, is what sparked Lyme rage at Steere to begin with.. Wonder what he will do when Columbia's Fallon papers come out.. It will prove Burrescano was right.. Personally.. I have no doubt that Steere knows that long term abx can improve the quality of life of a Lyme patient...Ive studied his past as well and he is a smart man. So then.. why do this? Simple.. money. But like I always say... in the end bad Karma will get ya.. and if this man is a wreck hiding for his life because he is "harrassed by sick patients over this mess".. sorry.. But I dont feel sorry for him.. If you get a chance.. purchase the Book Bullseye... the history of Lyme Disease way before it was even named.. You will note the changes and how, what began so many many years ago as a rash and some joint pain turned into an epidemic of juvenile arthritis in Lyme CT... and then to this disabling condition we all know it to be now. You will also note how a few weeks of abx fixed up people... whereas now.. thats not the case.. Look at the Syphilis experiments.. Do you really think they wouldnt mess with Lyme as well? Here is something that will keep you all busy for days.. google "military experiments on the public + biowarefare" Now thats some poop that will keep you up at night.. Stories of how the Military sprayed all kinds of tampered with crap on polulations just to see what would happen.. OUR Military.. the people who are supposed to be protecting us? Thats sickens me to even think of it. Do you think they wouldnt mess with something else? It would, in my own opinion, be niave to think at this point that they wouldnt.. But I do want to also point something out.. I also know people in the Military.. good people.. people who have no clue in the world what I talk about when I bring this up.. So I would never point the finger at the Military in general.. most likely a few sick tickets planned stuff like this and told the others that "we are spraying for insects" or whatever else BS they could come up with.. so perhaps the very people who released stuff in the past dont even know what they did? Look at all the Gulf War Vets.. I am quite sure they had no idea of what they were dealing with.. and sure wouldnt volunteer to be a part of something that would ruin their lives or anyone else's. But they are sick now regardless.. So who is the guilty party? Someone is...

Skytroll ....... If you are looking for someone to investigate Allen Steere.. you wont find anyone. He will always be protected by Yale.. Google "Skull and Bones" But do it on a day or night that you have hours to read... Anyone who thinks this is a "free country" is dead wrong. You will wonder who exactly are the worst of the terrorists.. Personally.. I have my own opinions. Altho I do admit seeing some of the names on that list did indeed break my heart..

Kerry,
I have read the skull and bones stuff, the Illumanati stuff, the Fabian Society, and the names on there sadden me too, but, there is the Omega Project too, interesting read, don't know if it is real or not. I agree with what you have said here in last two posts.
Some of this is hard to bear, but, I go back to Bush Sr. when he was in CIA. There is a lot that happened behind Reagan's back, and it just bothers me. I want to believe this Bush is okay, but, there is a hoopla of stuff going on behind his back, but, he may thoroughly aware of this as was Reagan, who knows. New World Order stuff.
Sometimes, I wonder just whose New World Order this is supposed to benefit?

Read my link to insect bites and electrosensitivity: I have found the basis of computer technology is able to programme through RF frequencies anything. The non-lethal weapon systems link to the Gulf War syndrome... The air can be programmed to be any biological or chemical substance. This links to Radionics band by the FDA. Now Radonics like biofeed back is a Grey Area.. Which is no longer band.
