Three tatoo artists in Ohio have been JAILED for allowing for and 'giving to' its customers Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus (MRSA), according to Dr. Mysheika LaMaile-Williams of the CDC. (Flood her and the CDC with emails right now). This info I found on AOL's window, and I wrote to the CDC asking if I should run out to obtain a tatoo in order to gain imperative and timely treatment for Morgs/Lyme.
"MRSA is an antibiotic-resistant bacteria that fights off the body's immune system and destroys tissues." (We know that...) "The community-associated variety, seen in tatoo infections, has been diagnosed in otherwise healthy athletes, military recruits, and inmates....The skin infections can be transmitted from person to person by contact with draining sores, or through contact with contaminated items or surfaces. MRSA generally causes mild skin infections, but in some cases, has led to pneumonia, bloodstream infections, and a painful, flesh-destroying condition called necrotizing fascilitis."
Furthermore, "Three of the Ohio tatooists had recently been jailed." ...Which is where all of our doctors belong...
"The superbug is appearing in locker rooms, homes, and in many other unsterile (not in our case [sic]) places where people are in skin-to-skin contact."
This nationwide alert was written (AOL) by Mike Strobbe, AP News. Too, this has (and this is grave and unfortunate for those afflicted) affected a really limited number of people and yet, the CDC jumped all over it, released statements about it, and are ON IT! What about us?? What is it that we aren't doing (if anything)??
Badger the CDC.
