Once cured, whats the best way of keeping Lyme at bay??? I use "Off" and have done for ages due to chiggers, although I don't get eaten alive "so much" the little buggers still don't take much notice of Off. I have often caught the odd tick that walks past the "Off barrier" and crushed the damned things. So, would it be wise to do at least two back up treatments per year to prevent a recurrance of Lyme??
I'm optimistic I'm going to beat Lyme!!!!!!

I wouldn't say I'm "cured", as I don't believe there is a cure at this time, but I have been pretty much in remission and off antibiotics for almost 2 years (will be 2 years in January). I function at 95-98%, but occasionally get a symptom flare, usually arthritis-type pain in my hip or muscle aches.
I have been able to eliminate these occasional symptoms and maintain my functional level using rife. At first I was using it one or more times per week, but now only use it when I feel my symptoms creeping back. I also found that treating the opportunistic infections (mycoplasma, HHVs, strep, staph, etc) has helped tremendously.
It is important to avoid exposure to ticks, but there have been some reports of the lyme bacteria found in mosquitoes, mites and other blood-sucking insects, so it may be impossible to totally avoid exposure.
I also think it is important to make the terrain (body) inhospitable to pathogens, by making serious lifestyle changes that can affect how your immune system responds to assaults.

I've also heard mozzies can spread it. I have been on vitamin and mineral suppliments for many years now, plus I make and use colloidal silver. I'm determined to be cured though, I just hope I have no serious damage caused by the bacteria/parasites. Thanks.
