Life Is Too Short.
That simple statement says so much, and we should take it to heart. For example:
Life is too short to hold a grudge. Yes, people do things or say things that we often don't like. We get angry, but often we forget exactly what it was that made us angry in the first place. I have heard many people say they haven't talked to "so-and-so" in years because of something that happened long ago. If you are one of those people, maybe it's time to let bygones be bygones.......especially if that other person is a close loved one.
Life is too short to endure stress. Do whatever you can to make life more enjoyable for yourself and for others around you. In other words, don't sweat the small stuff.
Life is too short to spend time worrying about things we cannot change. Face it, some things and some people will never change to suit you, so why spend valuable time worrying about them? Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom, otherwise. Give lifting that person up your best shot, but don't hang around long enough for his or her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people.
Life is too short not to enjoy friends and family. We don't communicate enough with those we love. Take the time to send a note or make a phone call to those who are close to you. You should never be too busy to stay in touch.
Life is too short to not love. That one is self-explanatory, is it not? Take it one step further and express that love for others.
Don't let time slip away.....life really is too short.
And finally......life is too short for a long story, so I'll end with this: "life is too short for anything but the best chocolate"!
