Awww Ali I just saw this... Chicky prolly already cooked and eaten by now. Just yank out what they have inside...usually just a neck or whatever. Get a cooking back...cut up some onions, taters and carrots..whatevers on hand. Pummel it with your fav's garlic, oregano, salt, pepper...follow bag instructions. Usually about 2 hours at 325 for a 5lb bird. Well prolly too late... sowy. Hope it was good whatever YOU did. You are the creative one!!!! P.S. I've been known to put whole chickens, roasts, etc FROZEN in the crockpot in the morning and seasoning later....hahaha actually retains moisture this way....am soooooooo lazy sometimes. xoxoxoxox ~Bugsy

Alli, there's usually a paper bag with the giblets inside. Not all whole chickens even have these but the ones that do need to be removed before cooking. Just be sure to wash your hands after handling the bird and also anything you touched like salt, pepper, etc. I'm sure it will turn out fine, but make sure you cook at about 350-375 for up to 90 minutes. If you have orange marmalade, you can drizzle over the top during the last half hour of cooking time, will add a great flavor (or lemon juice is good too). Let us know how it turns out.

My apologies for the typo Ali, I'll try to be more careful next time. I hope your sister enjoyed the meal.

So - I'm guessing you don't cook turkey on Thanksgiving?
The first time I did I didn't know you were supposed to take anything out of it and I cooked it with the bag of innards still in the bird.
We ate it anyway.

Fruit: While fruit can refer to "any product of plant growth useful to humans or animals", the more specific definition is the "edible part of a plant developed from a flower, with any accessory tissues". Using this more specific definition all fruits are considered vegetables but not all vegetables are fruit. Olives, plums, tomatoes, artichokes and cucumbers are fruit. Lettuce, potatoes, celery and beets are not reproductive parts of the plant developed from flowers so are considered vegetables.
