Dear Lymebusters folks,
I have a question regarding some of the results from my online questionnaire. Many people cited "Anders" as the source of their condition. I cannot find what an "ander" is anywhere-- am I overlooking something about which anyone here might know?
Thank you very much to the 68 people who completed the surveys!! It's still available for anyone else (www.arches.uga.edu/~sbione) and I will start analyzing at the end of August.
Sincerely, Sarah Bione Sbione@uga.edu

Dercum's disease (Anders’ syndrome)?
Are you sure it's not Glanders that they are referring to? Burkholderia mallei? Melioidosis? Potential BW agents, especially in the aerosolized form.

Eight people (11.8%) replied "anders". It might have been someone messing around but so many people answered that, I can't disregared it. I've never heard of Ander's Syndrome, that'll be my first area of investigation. Thank you! Sincerely, Sarah Bione
