The agent never got back to me. Mold inspectors do exist in Melbourne, actually there's one just 10 minutes down the road. I can only hope that this man in Adelaide has a much bigger brain than my agent & an even bigger brain than my landlord.

My gut feel is that the company looked at the images & lab report & decided they don't want to come anywhere near this house, can't say I blame them. Apparently this company; www.pureprotect.com.au/mould-remediation.php are the people who will be contacting me next week to do an inspection. I see by the website they have a company in America too. Does anyone know anything about them? Thanks - itchin

I thought you were leaving that place itchin... if so, how long will it be before you can get out?
As for bleach and mold... I've always been under the impression (and also been told and have read about it) that bleach DOES kill mold. But I can tell you this about morgs and mold... it makes it react. It causes the web-like strands to form. I know it does cuz I've watched it happen big time. So you may wanna go with this Zoonocide stuff... it sounds pretty good to me!
Good luck girlfriend... you're still in my prayers every night.
big hugs ~~ bannanny

Hello everyone,
I know there is a lot going on right now & I'm not wanting to distract from the current issue. However, I wanted to let you know that you guys were right from the onset about the mold problem.
We had an inspector from PureProtect & the real estate agents visit today. I showed the inspector my fungus mushroom photos - he said "not good". As soon as the inspector walked in the bathroom he said "I can smell it, not good". The inspector put a detection device against the floor, wall tiles in the shower, shower base etc. He said there is presence of water, there is a serious leak somewhere. The inspector had a look under the house & said there was an area which was extremely wet, but he is not sure where the leak is coming from. We now need a plumber on the case.
I am relieved in a way of the outcome, but then I'm not because our health is really suffering, particularly William who now has dermatitis, on top of his respiratory problems. The doctor said William doesn't have scabies & the only explanation for his rash & itchy skin is allergic dermatitis.
We can not move out any sooner than the start of July, trust me, we have searched all avenues.
Thank you all for the support you have given me during this stressful time. I'm praying things can only get better.

"Not good" is a very good thing to hear from your inspector itchin. Happy to know someone out there still thinks like a human being should!
Hang in there babe... you'll be out in time for the little guy to be able to re-coup just fine, I just know it!

I know you don't need any more problems, but mold spore may be all your belongings, even wood furniture. You need a whole professional cleanup crew to help you. Such a big problem. So sorry, wish we could help.

I know you don't need any more problems, but mold spore may be all your belongings, even wood furniture. You need a whole professional cleanup crew to help you. Such a big problem. So sorry, wish we could help. Our timber furniture is not raw, it is treated, so no mold spores will get in that. As for the couch I was going to get rid of it anyway. Our clothing & bedding should be fine once we get settled & things are washed a few times. Material things don't mean anything to me like they once did. It's my family I can't replace. We are living in extremely unhealthy conditions & NO one has been to rectify the problem. The leak & what appears to be a new sewage leak is washing away the gravel driveway. The front lawn is ankle high, we can't mow it as it has turned to mud. We have flattened card boxes on the grass so we can walk to the car. My partner fell the other night getting out of the car, he really hurt himself. To top things off he is also very sick from this house. In my 25yrs of knowing this man I have never known him to be so ill. Besides the ill health, we are coping. Looking forward to another visit from our friend Janet, she's flying from Perth to stay for 5 days last week of June. I told her to make sure she packs her helmet coz lord knows how this house is going to effect her morg symptoms

I came in late, Itchin. I had some sort of leak under my house in the basement too. It made a sweet-like musty smell go all through the house. Some of the rain water was getting under there also. I've heard several people say that they got sick after being around a sewage leak - there was a sewer gas smell coming up from the kitchen sink. I'm leery of sewer gases... they might be a vector?
I'm thinking they are spraying the skies with chemicals that when they rain down on our homes - if we have a defective roof it can cause microbes to start growing when mixed with the wood. If the rain water gets under your house, it can attack the underboards to your floor. I think it's one of the cowardly and lowest things I've ever heard of how these people in control are causing chemical rain on their people to take away our health, our homes, and lives. To cause people to become sick to where they cannot work to pay for or upkeep their homes due to illness, I wonder about all the foreclosures happening - how many people are sick?, like mine - where I wasn't capable to take care of myself and home - and lost everything, of course - the bank got a very nice home for little of nothing.
I used to be materialistic, I think that's just something we've been taught - to covet for what your neighbor has, to be 'in' with the latest 'whatever'. I have owned everything that I ever could dream of, some things 5 or 6 of... I was a model consumer, I was programmed well.
You have to get out of that house/apartment to get well, I'm glad to hear you're leaving soon.

I don't care about material things anymore either... they just collect dust for the most part and we know what dust has become these days!
Anyhoo, just wanted to say I hope you have a beautiful time with your friend Itchin!! Don't let anything get in the way either... just feel the love honey, just feel the love!!

Looks like morgs has taken over the stemonitis too... then again, that's what it seems to do with everything out there. But we don't have to let it stop us from living!!!! I know you're gonna have a great time with your friend too itchin... just like I'm gonna have a beautiful and great time with family the entire month of June! In 5 days, mom, my sis, and my neice will be here for 2 weeks! Then 2 days after they leave, Billi (Tom's daughter) her hubby and our little Mason man will be here for a week! So it's gonna be a blast and a half... and I have sooooo much left to do I'd best stop yackin away here and get busy!! Oh btw... I found this new product called "Fresh Wave" at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It comes in different forms... 2 being a neutralizing spray and crystal gel that's in a jar. You unscrew the lid, peel the cover off, then replace the lid (which has vented holes in it.) You put them on your coffee table or wherever... even in the re-circulating vents of your house (which we did yesterday.) It's for eliminating all kinds of odors... even mold and mildew. I bought it mostly to take any cig smell left behind in the house after cleaning all the walls, washing the curtains, etc. cuz my sis is allergic to cig smoke... plus we don't smoke around little Mason either. It's feeling better in here too (even morg wise) now that we only smoke outside. Anyhoo, this stuff's made of water, soya and natural extracts of lime, pine needle, aniseed, clove, and cedarwood. All really good things and I have a feeling it's gonna end up helping me with morgs too. I'll let you guys know if it does after I've had it in the house for awhile. But so far... I really like the spray! I sprayed it on my bed and pillows yesterday when I changed the sheets and all.... and I sure like how it makes your bedding feel! They also have it in a liquid form that you clean your washing machines with. Gets rid of any mold in there... so this may just end up being a really great thing to use in our environments to combat the little morg suckers!! love ya's ~~ bannanny

bannanny, I'm not too sure if that's morgs in the images, apparently fungal stemonitis grows in a "hair net" - and not the sort you wear on your head! ;D The new product you bought sounds cool, sure it hasn't got nano in it? just thinking, that's all. We don't smoke in the house, we just have lots of dust! which I was knee deep in yesterday whilst cleaning the windows & blinds, oh yuk! but it's got to be done. I burn essential oil when I can, it is very expensive though. Lately I've been burning something called "Breathe Easy" it has eucalyptus, Thyme & mint in it, smells good, helps clear my head (a little!). Sounds like you're going to have a house full, good on you! friends, people around us are sooo important. I crave the social interaction with others, I miss my career - though the last physician I had (who I sacked!) told me I could kiss my career goodbye, nice of him wasn't it?! Love - itchin
