Psychologist -
If you contact me personally and can provide credentials I would be glad to participate. I was theorizing in a recent letter, that for me personally, I do not feel my depression is a chemical or physiological result of the disease, but a situational depression / phobias as a result of the ruination of my health, career, relationships and the isolative quality of the disorder. It may be different for some, but the disbelief and rejection by the medical community and family is truly scarring to the psyche. If you're legite, I think your intentions of this understudied aspect of the disorder is truly admirable.

Psychologist, the reason people are leary and keep saying t hings like "if you are for real" is because we've been fooled before. Many have come on here asking us questions in the guise of helping while all they really wanted was to study the DOP diagnoses itself. My instincts tell me your intentions are good but I hope you understand why we all initially shy away from things like this.

I found something in 2004 about a dermatological emergency. Larva migrans can become visceral (also Leshmaniasis, not sure about spelling). My intention was recover printout and get it on board. Right now not possible. Wanted you to know. A dermatologist lectured on the seriousness of such potentially fatal emergency, undiagnosed, untreated. Also a pharmacist lectured about medicine in each nostril for nasal colonization by MRSA, certain myiasis, nasal bots. I started by looking for blood coming from ear, eye, headache, stiff neck, legs, blackouts on medical sites. Apparently dermatologists getting credit for attending lectures were not actually in attendance, taking notes.

Angie, As far as I know you and Jeff are the only two who read my post. It was my hope that someone would trace down additional information and post it. I think I posted on the thread, Effort to publish a definitive study (something like that) an apology for attempting something in which rather serious health problems are precluding my sustained involvement. At any rate it was my intention to contribute what I can in this struggle against healthcare atrocity and assault upon the person, albeit perhaps small and sporadic, as able. If you just start punching in (alltheweb, any good medical search site) eye, ear, nose, parasite, infection, infestation...maybe mouth, throat...vary or change word order perhaps...just keep at it...follow the links. There abstracts of papers, sometimes entire papers, all free. Several good audio lectures available. My work since September 2003 has been mostly trashed. If together we reconstruct it what emerges will be more valuable than the lost work. It will be not just mine but yours and mine and all of ours. My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry you are suffering. Catholics unite their suffering to the suffering of Christ and offer it up with h His. This meaning is just beginning to dawn on me. As a lifelong Unitarian I was previously at a loss to begin to fathom what on earth John Paul the Great meant when he said no suffering is wasted. Certainly I knew deep in my bones that no act of kindness is ever wasted, but always I wondered, whatever is he talking about? All truth unfolds in time. You are loved Angie. If I get an answer that might help you I will rush back and post it. In Friendship I Salute You. Your Friend, Psychologist

Dear Jeff, Thank you for replying. Time is like gold. Efforts to conserve and optimize our use of time are worthwhile. Glad to hear you are 100% sane. If I get such good news about me I'll be sure and let you know. For me I've always been crazy it's kept me from going insane fits well and do you wanta see how crazy I can get? works well when bullies who use labels like crazy to beat up on people get too pushy. I owe that to Merle Haggard (his song) and several psych patients who taught me a lot in my new job on the locked psych unit, 1979. Hey Jeff, on the serious side. Where's the evidence the disease is real? Not for a moment do I doubt you. You mention problems, yet I fail to see how the West Coast is a problem. Jeff, there is much I fail to see and much I do see yet don't articulate. The fault is with me. I am working on that. Thank you again. Good points and points well taken. Oh yes. A story. I have a story for America. It is incomplete. I would like to enlist the help of experts: that would be those who live with daily suffering from a disease which they are punished for having. Here comes part of story. Patient is previously known to me. She presents in a disheveled state, glances furtively about the room, her eyes settle on the window and she stares blankly. She appears to be about 30 pounds less than her previous weight. She does not make eye contact. She mumbles and I strain to understand her. "They locked me up. Strapped me down. Shot me full of something." As I comprehend her words I can hardly believe my ears. This woman had sought my consult for some difficulty with work and family in which she was obviously not the instigator and was attempting to be the peacemaker. At no point had her sanity been in question. As a matter of fact in our initial interview when we discussed the best approach in achieving the goals she had set for herself she had been most comfortable with strategic self therapy. We both agreed to work within this framework in which I would merely serve as consultant, provide feedback and she would make all decisions, be in charge of her own strategy and therapy. What had happened to Katherine?

Unfortunately, I'm more than familiar with MRSA. in March, at around 9pm one night, I was hospitalized (ICU) for three weeks with a virulent strain of MRSA infection. It started with a dime sized red spot on my knee which, by time we reached the ER had doubled in size. They gave me injections and told me to come back if within the next twelve hours it was any bigger. My daughter and I got home about midnight and went to bed. Three hours later I woke up disoriented and in serious pain. I didn't know what was going on, but vaguely recall being in an ambulance. My daughter said when she looked at my knee, the entire knee, back and front, was an intense red and twice its normal size. They cleaned out the knee the following day then transported me to another hospital familiar with these Superbugs. I was in ICU Isolation. Blood transfusions, IV's 24/7, and a shot into my stomach twice a day did the trick. The MRSA had spread into my blood stream, and into my lungs, but to everyone's surprise I pulled through. Apparently young people in their twenties and thirties had passed away while fighting this thing. I still use the nasal drops you spoke of, and I always shower with Hypercleanse, because I could get it again. My theory is that it entered a Morgellon's lesion on my knee, and that I most likely had infected myself by touching my face or nose after touching the knee. You catch it like a cold or the flu. By droplets entering the nose and exploring the Morg lesions up there. At this time, there is only one medication in the world that can fight the mutant strain I'd picked up. The doctor said he had two younger patients upstairs suffering with a recently discovered newer MRSA mutant. To date, there is no antibiotic for them. I've posted this info. before, but I want everyone who comes across this post to be extraordinarily/ obsessively aware how easy it is to be infected by this killer. Like the flu and other diseases and viruses they hang out on grocery carts, on the wrapping of packaged foods, on doorknops, on restaurant doors and in their bathrooms. Keep a good brand of disinfectant gel in your purse--and please use it..

Hi junebook,
I think you should definitely make an entry about how the lesions left you open to contract this and you DID contract it on Jeff's 'Doctors" thread.
If not treating a persons lesions could lead to a serious condition and possibly even their death, doctors should be alert to where their negligence in this area could lead.
For sure.

Does getting a grip explain why this stuff is growing out of my cement foundation or grout or walls? Does it explain why or how it embeds itself in glass, in less than a few seconds? Alters and destroys everything it infects? I am glad you are doing so well, I too have improved from the early days, but I have yet to learn of any worm, virus bacteria, insect, etc... that sufficently explains the how and why of the really weird unexplainable stuff and why it continues to destroy so many things in my home, my car, my life?
