Exactly,
And what are they made of? Are they all synthetic or biological. Just since the news article they have released a few tidbits on the web but the info goes back to the late 90s prior to the decision of what the material that would be used. I believe these were self-replicating.

The US government routinely conducts experiments on weather ... - Center for Research on Globalization The U.S. government routinely conducts experiments on weather modification, and has been doing so for at least half a century. Previously classified under such names as "Project Cirrus" (1947) and "Project Popeye" (1966), weather modification is no longer a secret practice. In fact, a bill (S517) was sponsored in 2005 by Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, a Republican, "to establish the Weather Modification Operations and Research Board, and for other purposes." This bill did not become law. Yet, there is reason to believe that various government institutions are carrying out numerous legal and illegal weather experiments without informing the public. This isn't just a suspicion of the United States. The Chinese government announced in April the creation of the first-ever artificial snowfall over the city of Nagqu in Tibet. The event was only one in a series of Chinese weather modification experiments that have been going on for years. China, in fact, now conducts more cloud seeding projects than any other nation. Cloud seeding through the use of silver iodide was discovered as a viable way to make rain clouds in 1946. In 1947, the U.S. military attempted to use this method to seed a hurricane, which later hit the Georgia coast near Savannah. In the mid-1960s, similar techniques were used in hopes of muddying the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Vietnam. The idea was to slow enemy troop movements through the introduction of inclement weather, and conversely to prevent foul weather over allies. But cloud seeding with silver iodide is an archaic technique compared with newer advances in nanotechnology and other methods for weather monitoring and control. Microelectric Mechanical Sensors (MEMS) and the newer Global Environmental MEMS Sensors (GEMS), are extremely tiny machines used to monitor weather patterns. No larger than dust particles, the sensors are designed to be sent up inside hurricanes and other weather systems in large numbers, reporting back data as they literally become a part of those systems. This data can later be used to improve weather forecasting and potentially control the weather through a better understanding of the complex mathematics involved in such systems. One goal is to "steer" these systems, sending them to specific targets and increasing or decreasing their size. Another extremely controversial participant in the weather modification game is the infamous HAARP antenna grid in Gakona, Alaska. HAARP, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, is an enormous array of antennas inspired by the free energy experiments of 19th-century electrical playboy Nikola Tesla. Commencing sometime around 1990, HAARP was only recently declassified, and much of the current research there is said to take place in secret. HAARP fires massive amounts of energy into the ionosphere, heating and distorting a section up to 30 miles in diameter. There are various strange and frightening claims made about the project. It may be capable of shifting the position of the jetstream, which could impact global weather in ways that we still do not understand well. Other claims about HAARP, such as that it is part of a massive government mind-control operation or that it forms the main component of a giant death ray, are difficult to verify. But these theories are not as implausible as one might think. Even in the face of mountains of evidence, many people still believe that weather modification of any kind is only a fantasy. People must be aware that these technologies have been around for a long time, are indeed being used and have great potential for dangerous and unethical uses. Our planet's weather is part of a single interconnected system and any change to it, whether natural or not, affects every other element of that system. The organizations most interested in modifying this system appear to be applying their theories in incredibly irresponsible ways. toni, You are all mentioning short bristly golden hair so I remembered a picture I took a while ago and I'm posting it here. Maybe it is something like this. I don't have a clue what this is but I call it a fish because of the scales/hairs whatever. When I touched the side with a needle the hairs/scales fell off. They look like bits of metal! Toni,
How unnerving that must have been. From experience I will tell you if you want to preserve it as a specimen put it in water so it won't dry out. Get someone with a microscope to get a picture. It might help to identify it. Karen

kmarie,
This is a classic symptom of Lyme. I had the same prior to my Lyme diagnosis. I realize many believe Lyme does not have a link to Morgellon's but I think it does.
I was definitely bitten by a tic in 04 while in a field near my home. I immediately began to feel something in my ear and told others but I let it go. Then a few weeks later the little bugger showed up on a q-tip! About 8 weeks after that I developed a severe case of Bells Palsy. Had I known the connection between the tick bite a Bells Palsy things would have been different today. I live in Michigan a state where all the doctors believe " There's no Lyme vectoring tics in Michigan". Anyhow I had the palsy for 6 to 8 months.
Soon I began having bouts of muscle weakness and numbness in my feet, legs, hands and painful patchy of numbness on my head. It wasn't until Dec 06 that I became violently ill and took to my bed with fevers, chills, and severe joint pain. After about 3 days I was unable to walk due to knee pain but the pain in all joints was severe. I went to many hospitals, seen many doc's of different disciplines and all I got was steroids. Steroids are bad for Lyme patients.
All during this time I suffered from muscle contractions. Terribly painful and lasting for up to an hour. This became debilitating due to the frequency and intensity. These 'charlie horses' often affected a entire muscle group at the same time. I also had these in my chest and neck. I once had such a violent muscle spasm that I actually fell off of an examining table while a doc was examine me!
Well I finally located a Lyme doc & she put me on Doxycycline. It was only a few weeks before I could walk without a walker. I still have some of the numbness, some joint and knee pain but no where near the same. Actually I believe the Lyme destroyed my thyroid because in early 06 I suffered a thyroid storm and then was told I had thyroid Cancer. I first had radiation ablation then a thyroidectomy.
The brain fog was god awful and I still experience it. If I am off the Doxy for more then 3 days all symptoms return.
I tested negative on the Lyme Elisa and the Western Blot and it took the Lyme doc to look at my western blot and tell me the 41 and 23 bands were definitely positive for Lyme.
If I were you I would find a Lyme doc. The 'Michigan Lyme Support Group helped me find a doc. Maybe you have a sate group also, if so, get in touch with them. They can help you in many ways.
As far as symptoms, I don't know where Lyme ends and Morgellons begins. The fibers; itching; skin lesions and other odd skin critters are the only symptoms I have that don't pertain to both Lyme & Morgellon's.

But now there is evidence that this mysterious disease may be REAL and related to GENETICALLY-MODIFIED food! " Most of this we have already read but...... Patti,
First let me say I am also tired of this subject however since I have been posting new threads recently, one of which was involved in the recent snafu, I do want to fully understand what is and is not acceptable.
I had no idea that an original thread regarding Dr Harvey's research had been removed at the time you locked out my thread. Not even when I posted my questions to you. This is the first time you have answered most of my questions candidly and I appreciate that.
Even going back over those threads it appears you were upset over the content of negative posts however reading your post here you are saying the original information, that lead to all of the recent Dr Harvey research threads, was private and obtained falsely and that is the reason for the censorship.
Also, since you indirectly elude to a personal directive to remove the post (which leaves me to believe that Dr Harvey notified the admin here that his email was indeed posted maliciously and obtained or forwarded under false pretenses) I apologize to both you and Dr Harvey. Henceforth I will be sensitive to the issue of posting any but source authorized material.
As far as negative posts directed at me or private emails being posted I hope those words were born of frustration. Either way I have never PM'd or posted harsh or defamatory comments and can handle the all of my info here being exposed!
I don't know why but lately I find all forms of censorship stifling. I have a better understanding now but still....eeah, I hate to say it but....I'm all for the Morgellon's whistle blower and would probably post it in a heartbeat!!!

Patti, You said...
Topic Summary Posted by Patti on Today at 10:50am
You might as well shut down the entire board because that is all we have been doing since the begining.....speculating on a subject over which we have no control, right?
We speculate on what might or might not help us; on the motives of the government, the CDC, NIH, Researchers, various boards, etc.; on the research itself; on possible medical treatments; on types of treatment; on the possible causes of this; on the contagious aspects; and on and on...all speculation.
Shut down speculation, shut down the entire reason for this board!
...because that is all we can do with the info we have. Am I missing something here? Stop speculating you say!
I kind of think that this is the exact spot of the friction on this board. Your insistence on the cessation of speculation and targeted removal and lock-down of our speculation.
I have repeatedly asked you why you have not responded so rabidly when we speculate about the research of anyone but Dr Harvey? Why does this one researcher hit such a nerve with you? Again I say; we can be thankful to those researching this hideous condition and still speculate, question and even disagree with them at the same time.
Now in fairness I must say that if it is a matter of your just recently becoming queasy about us speculating or nay-saying with regards to researchers, any researchers, across the board...then OK... remove all posts that contain speculation on researchers! That seems fair to all researchers and would put an end to any ideas that you are overly protective of just one researcher.
I for one would like clarity regarding the posting rules when research and/or researchers are a part of the thread. What prompts lock outs and/or thread removal. Is it totally arbitrary or are there guidelines?
Maybe you could post the guidelines regarding discussion of research and researchers. Something like 'No speculation with regards to researchers is allowed here...or...No speculation on any incomplete and fully published researcher and researchers.
For the record; I don't know personally know or espouse to any Morgellon's researcher but I am very interested in all of the research and in speculation of every aspect of Morgellon's research. My life and the lives of many other interested parties may depend on it.

I for one feel as if our discussion didn't sit well with one person. That person had the power to shut it down so they did. I could understand perfectly if a post utilized foul language or character assassination but I found the posts quite informative and interesting.
The fact is I hadn't even decided yet but figured I would post the new info and could get a better grasp from a vigorous discussion.
So far I have searched back through over 100 pages of threads and haven't found even one that was shut down because of a diagnosis or treatment disagreement.
Notice that not all the posts disagreed with the direction of Dr Harvey's research.
Perhaps someone will reconsider the harsh response, if not I would expect fairness across the board. Of course that would necessitate they lock-out every post that disagrees with any Morgellon's researcher. After all Dr Harvey is not the only researcher that has been scrutinized here, either before or after the completion of their work.
Don't get me wrong I do agree that we should be grateful for all of the research that goes into finding the cause and the cure but that doesn't mean we have to buy into every aspect of every researcher.
I mean we do all have our own opinions! Or maybe scrutiny and discussion have reached the point of ...high crimes and misdemeanors... hence intervention from the Decider!

Re: Lock-down of 'A bit more on Dr Harvey's take on Today' at 3:59pm
I am torn about the lock-down. One one hand I can see what you are trying to avoid but on the other I didn't see a lock down when so many posted negatively regarding Kaiser as the CDC's choice for their investigation. You of course have the power but I wonder how those of us that have had so many doors shut in our faces feel about your choice.
Maybe you should lock down any future discussion of the CDC, Kaiser, Dr Hildy, Dr Wymore and any others that have not yet completed their research is in order.
I will go back and look for the previous lock-downs since I am fairly new here I have never seen one but I hope to find some consistency. For instance I recall several negative statements about other researchers but can't recall seeing a thread locked down because of them.
I don't agree with many of the negative statements myself however I would think your post alone would give pause to the nay-sayers.
I don't know if you yourself suffer from Morgellons however those of us that do have very few outlets. Many have lost everything and some have even lost custody of their children! For many this board is the only outlet for their opinions, right or wrong. In some cases their opinions are all they have left. No doctors, no clinics or hospitals sometimes no believing family members.
I feel strongly that if you and others enlighten, as you did in your post, others would certainly follow and a lively and informative debate would ensue.
Maybe some of us vent in the wrong directions at times but I thought this was a place for us to vent, right or wrong.

Freaky, I really don't really know if the black dots are eyes. They may be positioned to look like eyes in some cases. Here is a good example: This is a critter I have seen many times on my body and I have several pics of it. About a week ago I found one on my hand while using a magnifying glass. I placed it on the sticky note and was just looking at it when it suddenly spewed something out of it's mouth or maybe it morphed. Either way the action was so sudden it caused the thing to flip backward! This before picture is an identical critter but the others are the after scene. I have searched and searched for this thing and the closest I can get is a marine worm called 'chaetognatha' or 'arrow worm'. But it is a bit different, maybe nano? www.flickr.com/photos/chaosonline/sets/Karen from Michigan

Betsy, I use a Digital Blue microscope. It was about $90.00 online somewhere. If you go direct to their site it is cheaper than some of the other online sites. I have the QX5 but you can still get the QX4 at real great prices. I think the guy that sells these digital microscopes is the one that invented Morgellon's. ;D I'm sure we've made him a rich man. www.digiblue.com/digital_blue/qx5.htmlI read about it when I first realized I had Morellon's and couldn't wait to get one. It is easy as pie to set up and use. In fact I think it is for children's science projects! I had saved all my morgies and now have over 1000 pics. Some are just too gross to put up but most are the endless multi-colored fibers. I usually place all specimens on the back of a yellow sticky note. That way I lightly adhere the specimen and write a note below. Maybe the date, the location where I found the thing etc. The picture hosting site is free and also very user friendly. Toni, it sounds like you might be alergic to MSG. I had a friend that had that problem with Arby's and most Chinese restaurants. Any of you trying the horseradish please let me know how it turns out since I am still experimenting. Karen from Michigan

I came up with this on a whim and was stunned by the results. Not only does it work unbelievably well it costs only pennies, or, if you eat Arby's it's free! 1- 1/2 ounce packet of Arby's Horsey Sauce Heat in microwave for 5 seconds (not too hot!) optional: garlic salt or powder optional:1 drop essential lemon oil optional:1 drop essential tea tree oil Liberally smear on the warm Horsey Sauce Let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes Gently rub the skin Literally hundreds of morgellon-like gelatin blobs will form. They will all be loaded with black dots and fibers!!!! Rinse off with warm water, I use the tub sprayer. Just dab dry if you're going to go on to Round 2. Dry off completely if not. 2nd Round- About 1 hour later rub your skin again. Black dots will appear on the skin and the largest of the fibers will begin to appear within the small gelatin blobs!!! If you have a microscope be sure to check them out because I didn't realize how unbelievable this was until I seen them under the microscope. One tip though, the smaller the blobs the better you can see the dots and fibers, break them apart if you have to. lilsissy and I used only 2- one half ounce packets to remove thousands and thousands of black specs and fibers. It takes only a short time unless you choose to do the 2nd round. I learned the hard way to use gloves because so many came off of my hands I couldn't control what I was doing. So, do your hands separately. If you have copious results, as we did, you can remove the blobs using a kitchen knife and either do the procedure while sitting on the tub or position your body part over a basin. Oh I almost forgot, if your sinuses are impacted simply breath the fumes of the hot sauce and they will drain! I have just started to use the sauce (minus the optional ingredients) on my food at least once a day. I figure if it does this good on my skin maybe it will help my innards too! Here are just a few pictures of the results: tinyurl.com/2fe8bfJust to let you know I have absolutely no connection to Arby's, but if I did they would probably fire me!!! Last December I had a full blown Lyme attack and my scalp had extremely tender spots that reminded me of shingles pain. It hurt all the time but if I dared to touch the area it was off the chart. It had to be something to do with the nerves.
Also want to mention that Rid and Nix are absolute toxins to the human body and are banned in the UK. I did years of research on head lice and the available solutions and can tell you that those products cause childhood leukemia. Usually the youngest in the family comes down with it. I personally know a family where this happened. The youngest was diagnosed and then went into remission. The Mom didn't know about the Rid and Nix connections and when the kids came down with head lice again she applied it to all. The little girl died soon after the application.
I eventually obtained a patent for a natural head lice cure. The major ingredient is tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is the best for head lesions. I would leave it on until it begins to tingle. For adults leave it on as long as possible. It is absolutely the best pesticide to use on your pets. Just a small amount rubbed on their ears and body works like a charm. Karen from Michigan
