I am looking for state by state levels of Ethylene dibromide. Not having too much luck. But here is a bit of info "Of these major pesticide uses of EDB, the post-harvest chamber fumigation of grains, citrus, tropical fruits, and vegetables presentsthe greatest potential f or EDB exposure to workers. There are estimated to be 25 citrus fumigation stations in Texas, 13 in Hawaii,4 in Florida, several in Puerto Rico and New Jersey, and a number of newly constructed chambers in California. "
Most of the info says California has had the highest levels since 1981. It is an additive in Jet Fuel and de-icers. I live across the street form a major airport holding pond. We had a has-met leak in 2001. At the time I believed it was glycol. It flowed form the pond to a county drain eventually killing massive numbers of fish for many miles from here on into the Detroit River. Karen From Michigan

"Ethylene dibromide reacts with hydroxyl radicals in the atmosphere, with a half-life for this reaction of approximately 40 days. In water, its half-life ranges from 2.5 to 13.2 years, and in soil it was detected 19 years after it had been applied." www.epa.gov/ttn/atw/hlthef/ethyl-di.html

What is going on with all of the environmental groups that claim to be on the alert for bio-weapon and nanotech disasters?
There are plenty of these groups, many if not all, are being subsidized with our tax dollars. They all claim to be on the alert!
Now I realize that they are probably all tied up with their response to Pearl Harbor but hopefully the IDIOTS will wake up and smell the coffee before all of God's creatures become designer nanos!
You know, now that I think about it, it's a dam good thing that Saddam didn't have weapons of mass destruction because these so called watch-dog groups would have probably mistaken it for food and eaten it for lunch. Ut oh, maybe.... no I won't go there.
We should make a concerted effort to Goggle search these terms "Bio-weapon Watchdog" and " Nanotech Watchdog" and anything even remotely similar, then contact them in droves.
Look, I am confused too but I guarantee you all that this is absolutely something to do with nano. In May I placed all of my Morgie Critters in a jar filled with rubbing alcohol and believe me when I say they are still growing at a fairly rapid rate! I don't believe worms or other natural insects can do that. No way, this is definitely nanotech and engineered. Maybe not all aspects of Morgellon's are nanotech but the nucleus, the foundation is.
As soon as I get up my nerve I will remove the still growing fibers from the alcohol jar and will photograph them and post the photos on this board. They have gotten thicker and longer, are a dark color with a definite pattern. I hate even looking at the nasty stuff and haven't opened the jar since I put them in.
Lets give these groups a kick in the a.. and tell them it's time to sound the alert, blow the horn, set off the sirens. NOW..NOW..NOW, not at some convenient, CDC coordinated time in the future. And if they are being silenced by some worldwide conspiracy then how about a few whistle blowers?
Anybody with a conscience please stand up.

Thanks Kmarie,
It sounds like we are in a similar Morgellon's cycle. I agree about the stress factor. On this board we all concentrate on Morgellons so much I think it is a release for us from the everyday dead-ends that Morgellon's has dealt us. We have lives that are on hold in so many ways. This certainly increases our stress levels. For example the simple task of babysitting for kids or grandkids is now a moral dilemma. I have a daughter-in law who is not too happy with me because I haven't gone to see my newest granddaughter. Some family members just aren't quite sure what this is all about (not that we are). Anyhow, what I am getting at is even the simplest of things can become complicated with Morgellon's.
Praying for you, Karen from Michigan

Yep I can vouch for her, lilsissy is my baby sister!! She is truly a great researcher with tons of novel ideas.
About a week ago I was suffering a great deal of nausea and while retching the morgie critters ruptured my left eardrum. The same eardrum where a tick bit me in 2004. I have been struggling to get out of bed since. Lots of brain fog and a full-blown Morgellon's relapse! Fibers, black dots and the entire gambit. I had been doing remarkably well for 3+ months on Doxy but am now in free fall.
lilsissy took up my cause prior to her finding out she too had Morgellon's.

I have found bleach to be the best product so far. I was desperate to find something that would aid in healing the lesions and began using 1 cup of bleach in my bath water. I slowly upped it to 2 and a half cups to a full tub of water. This healed all of my lesions in about 2 weeks. I do this no more than 2 times a week or it tends to dry my skin. Also, I don't stay in the tub for long because of the fumes. I agree about the Dawn dish soap in the place of shampoo and the vinegar rinse.
I also think water temperature is important. I started with extra hot water but soon learned the heat was exhausting me. So a moderate temperature when using bleach was the answer. I only use hot hot water when I am using sea salt or Epsom salt with peroxide and no bleach.
I have Lyme and as far as the Doxy is concerned I have been on it for 3 or 4 months and it has helped me in many ways but last week I did have a problem with extreme nausea. In fact I ruptured my eardrum while retching! It felt like a 10 pound alien was was rapidly exiting my eardrum and about to emerge through the side of my face! The pain was unbelievable. My ear bleed the watery Morgellon's blood for 2 days and did contain more than a few morgies. It is still not healed and I feel like I am in an aquarium.
I have lots of brain fog and wonder if I accidentally took my Doxy twice on that day. That could have set me up for a severe herx which would explain the nausea and possibly the rapid mass morgie exit via my eardrum.
This happens to be the same ear where the tick bit me in 2004. I could feel it in my ear and after about 2 weeks found it on a q-tip!
For about 2 weeks before it ruptured my eardrum had been thumping and felt plugged.
I just restarted taking the Doxy (at half strength) yesterday. If I am off the Doxy for mare than a week or so I can't walk due to knee pain. I was on a walker about to graduate to a wheelchair when I first started the Doxy and after 9 days of treatment I was able to walk without the walker. One other time I went off of the Doxy for some reason and was horrified to find that in just a short time the knee pain had returned with a vengeance and once again I could not walk without a walker. Needless to say I'm big on Doxy. Karen

I am a newbie to Lyme and Morgellon's. I live in near a large airport in Michigan and was bitten by a tick near my home in the summer of 2004. I had no rash and came down with a rather severe case of Bells Palsy by the fall of that year.
For many months I had an intermittent loss of upper arm strength. I also had a thyroid storm and was told I had thyroid cancer so U of M removed my thyroid in 06. Pathology showed no cancer. I was also experiencing muscle spasyms. Entire muscle groups would fire up at the same time.
On Dec. 15, 2006 I became ill with something flu-like. Spent 3 days in bed with fever, chills, joint pain etc. Afterwards I could not walk due to knee pain. Lots of Lyme fog, numbness and tingling in extremities, loss of vision in my right eye. One doc at U of M told me I had Lyme but he was drowned out by others who said I needed to 'talk to someone"....and this was just for Lyme symptoms, the Morgellon's had not reared it's ugly head as yet!
I searched and searched for a lyme literate doc but had no luck until the Michigan Lyme Support gave a few names and numbers of Lyme doc's. My Lyme doc was an angel and she had me up and walking in about 14 days!
I was still hunting for a doc when I decided to apply an antibiotic ointment to my knees. When it didn't help I massaged cura-heat and to my utter horror I watched as hundreds of tiny black spots emerged from my knees. I too witnessed insects, crystals, mold, and a virtual bio-zoo exploded from my body. My inital investigations led me to believe that my body was somehow absorbing the things around me then releasing them from my skin pores.
I had been bedridden for quite some time and had been running a humidifier. I found mold and mites in my carpeting. So like so many of you I stripped everything I could and placed plastic protectors on my matress and box springs.
Nowdays I am on antibiotics and several health meds. They are helping a great deal. I still think that insects play a role but have come to believe that each of us could be attracting different insects based on our individual location and in-home enviroment. I believe we attract insects because our DNA has been changed by agrobacterium. The insects sense the plant like qualities in us and are attracted.
I am self-quarantined as a precaution and most days I vascilate between curiousity and anger. I think someone out there knows exactly which strain of agrobacterium we have but isn't coming forward because it is related to big business. Even if someone did come forward now they would be lost in the frey. I absolutely agree that the Lyme connection is a very important factor. I don't really know where the Lyme leaves off and the Morgellon's begins. The stinging is also a serious symptom that plagues me. I swear it is as if I am stung by some type of venemous creature. I wake up yelling out loud many times during the night. It is rare for me to feel these pains during the day. They are now restricted to my knees. Odd but I remember a few years ago I first noticed an electrical buzzing around my knees and it increased in both frequency and intensity until my Dec 15, 06 episode.

I wonder what medium would a person use in a petri dish to grow a seedling? Anyone here know?
I have the seedlings/pods and am ready to give it a try!

How sad but true Suebe, I am one who believes there are plant seeds involved and have specimens and pictures of them. They are obvious seeds or pods and they contain a very sticky substance as well as tiny colored fibers!
I also believe mold is involved same reason. But if you think about it plants, being moist, could attract mold, and insects. That is why many of us believe the collembola springtail thing. These insects are known to live on plant leaves just below the surface and for those of you that have had crystals arise from skin pores I found out that plants have crystals just below the surface of their leaves!!! I seen pictures of them and they match the ones I have perfectly. These crystals appear to the naked eye to be glitter.
Also, I think the insects species could vary from individual to individual due to whatever insects happen to be in your area.
I honestly couldn't really believe these were anything but man made crystals because many of them were perfectly square or hexagonal but, yes, the exact same shapes come from plants.
I don't think this info is particularly heartening but it is the solid truth...google it!!!

I must be getting into this a quite late because lillsissy just emailed this to me: www.morgellons-uk.net/agrobacterium.htmIn short it says agrobacterium radiobacter was found in two Morgellons patients DNA!!!:: Skin biopsy samples from two Morgellons patients were subjected to high-stringency PCR testing for genes encoded by the Agrobacterium chromosome. Screening of the same samples for Agrobacterium virulence (vir) genes and T-DNA sequences in the patient's genome was also performed. Results: PCR screening indicated the presence of Agrobacterium genes derived both from the chromosome and from the Ti plasmid, including the T-DNA, in tissues from both Morgellons patients. Can anybody tell me why they couldn't go one step further identify the type. Is it the wild (found in nature) or the GMO Agrobacterium Radiobacter k 84 or Agrobacterium Radiobacter k 1046. I have long suspected the 1046. www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=85827There has to a connection. karen W
