Friskers,
THey paid ONLY after first denying it and I had to call them and then they asked about my health in 2007 and if I saw any doctors ( which I did not except for a routine physical in August of 2007) All labs were normal and so was my physical exam.
Just yesterday, I received in the mail that they DID pay it!

Hey their Ant-my insurance company kicked me off chemo for my liver one month into it by putting me on a plan that has a $2500 medicine deductible-the sneaky b8888888d's. Oh i do hope Obama gets us healthcare for real! Some folks have better medical in the 3d world i swear.

Ibz what ins co did that to you if you dont mind me asking? Are you still on chemo and having to pay out of pocket? Blue cross was like that. You sign up for one plan and then as time goes by they keep changing the plan and decreasing benefits. They give you a months notice and thats it! I still dont have insurance and cant afford it right now anyway so it was a great time to drop them! No regrets ! The way the economy is going health ins companys are the nex to want their bail outs!

Oh dear it is called Wellcare. No I could not afford it so I had to stop my interferon and ribivarin treatments. The medicine is extremly expensive and to treat the hep c I need to be on it for 6 months. I had been on it for a month and now, if they do decide to give a better plan I have to start over. Its no fun being on the medication, lots of unpleasant side effects, and now I will have to subject my body to an extra month of it. It is a medicare plan. I don't understand why they did this as it actually will end up costing them more it seems.

Wow Ibz thats really a bummer. i wonder if there is a herbal treatment for hepC it may be worth looking into. Milk thistle is very good for the liver, not sure if it would help the Hep C or not but thats one herb thats very well known for liver problems. Good luck with your medicare , they just sound so screwed up like they dont know what they are doing if you ask me!

Hi all ......just wanted to say a couple of things ........ First still no health insurance for me , its been a rough year for me . But i do intend to go with Kaiser in a few months when i can afford it. My friend whos with them had an emergancy with a kidney stone and used a hospital outside Kaiser and they DID pay for it . Also i heard they are willing to prescibe bioidenticle horomones . I wrote blue cross and told them I couldnt afford pay that bill they sent me and asked that they cancel my plan on an earlier date and apparently they did and havent got another bill from them so that was great I didint have to pay it after all. Most of all i wanted to tell you My GYN prescibed me more estrogen because of hot flashes and when I went to fill it at CVS pharmacy the generic was 35.00 . i know I made a face LOL and he asked me If i had health insurance . I told him no I would be paying cash and he said we can get that amount reduced because you dont have insurance. So my total amount was 25.00 not 35.00. I was so happy about that ! So i get a ten dollars savings every month! So if you dont have insurance remember to ask if theres any way to have the cost adjusted ! im not sure if its a nationwide or state program.....im in california.
