Biological Immortal Cells en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biological_immortality"Biologists have chosen the word immortal to designate cells that are not limited by the Hayflick limit (where cells no longer divide because of DNA damage or shortened telomeres). The term immortalization was first applied to cancer cells that expressed the telomere-lengthening enzyme telomerase, and thereby avoided apoptosis (programmed cell death). Among the most commonly used cell lines are HeLa and Jurkat, both of which are immortalized cancer cell lines. Normal stem cells and germ cells can also be said to be immortal (when we refer to the cell line). Immortal cell lines of cancer cells can be created by induction of oncogenes or loss of tumor suppressor genes. One way to induce immortality is through viral-mediated induction of the large T-antigen,[3] commonly introduced through simian virus 40 (SV-40). In terms of multi-cellular organisms, immortality may not be a desirable condition, as the main controls over cancer are the apoptotic mechanisms[4]. Jurkat cells en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurkat_cells"Jurkat cells are an immortalized line of T lymphocyte cells that are used to study acute T cell leukemia, T cell signaling, and the expression of various chemokine receptors susceptible to viral entry, particularly HIV. Jurkat cells are also useful in science because of their ability to produce interleukin 2. Their primary use, however, is to determine the mechanism of differential susceptibility of cancers to drugs and radiation. The Jurkat cell line (originally called JM) was established in the late 1970s from the peripheral blood of a 14 year old boy with T cell leukemia. [1] Different derivatives of the Jurkat cell line can now be obtained from cell culture banks[2] that have been mutated to lack certain genes."

What do we know? We know we have a cell/sphere that reproduces very quickly. It is industrial strength - hard to kill and appears to morph or become immune to whatever agents we send in after it after a short amount of time. It appears to be immortal and fits the description of what is known in biology as "Immortal Cells". From what I'm seeing in the cells I have observed microscopically - even though they look similar, they reproduce differently and have different functions - there appears to be more than one type. I'm wondering if we don't have a collection - Jurkat, HeLa...the T3T as Skytroll has suggested and looks like it could easily be one of our spheres also, and/or their offspring happening? IF the Morgellons sphere is the HeLa cell, Jurkat cell, T3T and related other immortal cells - how do we kill them?Morphological study on apoptosis Hela cells induced by soyasaponins tinyurl.com/yko3p32"Soyasaponins are present in legumes and soybeans are the primary dietary source of saponins." I mentioned earlier that breaking up the specks in a lesion, as mentioned in one lab experiment was a two step process. The first step of the process is to saturate the lesion with soybean oil the second step was to use a detergent to wash this out and to repeat this process. To use Soap nutz as the detergent. Soap nutz - (This is as a result of Jeany's research on saponins that we found this.) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sapindus"Soap nutz contain saponins, a natural surfactant." You purchase a few of the soap nutz and boil them in water. You take the liquid and strain it through a cheese cloth - most of the nutz are wrapped in a muslin cloth when you purchase them, use this cloth for straining. You can add any oil, such as tea tree to this water/soap solution as a preservative, you pour the cooled liquid into spray bottles or dispensers - use anywhere on your body, safe for a baby to use. You can then set aside the nutz after they are boiled - let them air dry and boil them over and over until they are gone, the solution gets stronger with each boiling. You can even use this liquid for a laundry detergent. I have sprayed the soap nut solution up my nose, I brush my teeth with it, just squirt some on your tooth paste. I washed my hair with it - after the first time - my hair felt somewhat normal again. My teeth no longer had the biofilm on them and the biofilm stays away and does not easily accumulate. I have even ingested the soap nut solution... small amounts, it doesn't appear to hurt me. Just spray it right in my mouth and swallow. (What is up with this site - is it censored...for curse words? lol... I keep typing in "N U T S"... and it keeps changing it to "nutz"...?? Soap N U T S)

Neem a natural source of Saponin..a natural blood purifier! www.mynaturalstore.com/Blood_purification.htmThis is an alternative way of purifying the blood to get rid of toxins. Samuel Hahnannen, the founder of homeopathy, once noted that more serious problems like immune system disorders, such as cancers and tumors, could occur if the blood is impure for sustained periods. Herbs called "blood purifiers" can help strengthen the liver, helping it to clean the blood or push toxins out. Basically, blood purifiers are bitter-tasting herbs that contain natural soaps called saponins.
In fact, many blood purifiers in solution will actually develop suds when shaken. Saponins function by breaking down damaged red blood cells so that the iron and nutrients that they contain may be recycled to produce fresh blood cells. This also helps the liver in clearing away impacted toxins. Saponins also function by increasing the absorption of nutrients across the intestinal lining. You might think of saponins as the “laundry detergents” for your blood.
We sometimes call blood purifiers “alternatives” because they “alter” blood chemistry. Alternatives enhance the body's ability to eliminate toxins via the liver by improving the flow of bile. Often, they also help eliminate toxins via the kidney. They do not, however, produce a noticeable laxative action. Dr Henry Bieler, in his book Food Is Your Best Medicine, explains that the liver is an alkaline organ. The liver produces bile, which is very bitter. According to Dr Bieler, the liver neutralizes poisons by alkalinizing them and eliminating them through the bile. The bile is a bitter, highly alkaline substance that emulsifies (or makes water soluble) the fats that we eat. Dish soap is also a bitter alkaline substance that emulsifies the fats on our dishes so that they may be washed away. The bitter components of blood purifiers aid the liver in washing away toxins in the blood. When taking blood purifiers, you must bear in mind that they will cause your body to remove toxins. You might notice stronger or darker urine that may also smell more pungent. Your stools may also appear unusual. Paradoxically, you may notice an aggravation in the very symptoms that you are attempting to eliminate. ..HERX!You should consider this as a positive sign that purification is already in progress. As your body releases the toxins, you will find an increased energy level and feeling of well-being. So, don't give up! Neem grows well in Malaysia and is common to all the races. It is often used for measles and chicken pox. The Indians also use it for detoxification and liver cleansing. Bitter herbs enhances the bitterness of the liver. It strengthens the liver, making it cleanse the blood more efficiently. Bitter herbs work well for acne, chicken pox and measles.
There is documentation of its use in other skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema and rashes.
It also seems to work at normalizing blood glucose in brittle and mild diabetes. It has powerful antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects.Jeany

Yes, Jeany - many have reported good results from Neem Oil, you can also add Neem Oil to the Soap Nut solution for a double whammy. We're suspecting that ridding Morgellons lesions is a two step process - the first step involves saturating the lesion area - specks/spheres/debris with oil, possibly Neem Oil could be used in place of the soybean oil because it has saphonins also? Apoptosis of HeLa Cells From a link that is no longer good: "We found that in the absence of Cks proteins the cells stopped proliferating. In HeLa cells the arrested cells underwent apoptosis." ukpmc.ac.uk/articlerender.cgi?artid=614646www.labtimes.org/labtimes/issues/lt2008/lt01/lt_2008_01_20_22.pdfCDK Inhibitor en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CDK_inhibitor"CDK (Cyclin-dependent kinase) inhibitor is chemical that inhibits the function of CDKs. It is used to treat cancers by preventing overproliferation of cancer cells. Although there is no approved anti-cancer drugs that target CDKs yet, several compounds are on clinical trials now (2009). CDKs as cancer target In many human cancers, CDKs are overactive or CDK-inhibiting proteins are not functional[1] [2]. Therefore, it is rational to target CDK function to prevent unregulated proliferation of cancer cells. However, the validity of CDK as a cancer target should be carefully assessed because genetic studies have revealed that knockout of one specific type of CDK often does not affect proliferation of cells or has an effect only in specific tissue types. For example, most adult cells in mice proliferate normally even without both CDK4 and CDK2[3]. CDK inhibitors on clinical trials There are more than 10 CDK inhibitor compounds that have gone through or currently ongoing clinical trials, as of 2009. Most of them are targeting multiple CDKs, but some are targeting specific CDKs. For example, P1446A-05 targets CDK4 and PD-0332991 targets CDK4 and CDK6. All compounds are (as of 2009) either in phase I or phase II trials. Various types of cancers including leukemia, melanoma, solid tumors, and other types are being targeted. In some cases, very specific cancer types, such as 'melanoma positive for cyclin D1 expression' are targeted to maximize the efficacy. Further details can be found in Lapenna and Giordano[5] or can be searched from www.clinicaltrials.gov"

Apoptosis of HeLa Cells - Part 2 They created a chloroform out of the seeds of Nigella sativa that causes apoptosis of Hela cells: www.cancerci.com/content/9/1/29"Induction of apoptosis in HeLa cells by chloroform fraction of seed extracts of Nigella sativa There are a number of alternative medicine systems based on traditional theories and philosophy that have originated in specific geographical areas and evolved over the years. The most widely practiced of these include the Unani, Ayurveda & Siddha and the Chinese system of medicine that have originated from the Arab, India and China respectively. These medicinal systems have identified more than 700 individual herbal extracts as well as several drug preparations which claim to treat and/or prevent several diseases including cancer [11]." Let's look closer at Nigella sativa to see if this might be beneficial to us?

Saponinswww.herbs2000.com/h_menu/saponins.htmThis is a good site, showing all kinds of plant extracts with natural Saponin. It also tells how to make your own Saponin soap with the so called soap nutz. I wanted to tell you guys a little story about this subject. I thought it was quite astonishing. While I was residing in the USA, shortly before Kam and I came to Germany, I was researching on Saponin and of course bookmarked all the sites due to lack of time while dealing with 'moving' issues. As we arrived in Germany, my daughter came to visit and presented me a little bag with soap nutz. She said she bought them at a trade fair she went to and thought it might be useful for us. You should have seen my face at that moment!..How in the world could she know, that I was researching on this? She couldn't because I never told her! Do you think this was a coincidence? Of course, Kam and I made a 'brew' out of it, we cooked the soap nutz just like stated, and we tried it out right away. We both use it on our skin and hair. It leaves it really clean and soft..a nice side effect. Here's the info: Saponins comprise polycyclic aglycones. The sapogenin or the aglycone part is either a triterpene or steroid. The combination of sapogenin, hydrophobic or fat-soluble, hydrophilic or water-soluble sugar part enhances the foaming ability of saponins. Some toxic saponins are known as sapotoxin. Saponins are basically phyto-chemicals which are found in most of the vegetables, beans and herbs. The well known sources of saponins are soybeans, peas, and some herbs with the names that indicate foaming properties such as soapwort, soapberry, soapbark and soap root. Commercial saponins are mainly extracted from Quillaja saponaria and Yucca schidigera. It results in the lysis of the blood cells, haemolysis, like all detergents, and is therefore highly toxic. Saponins base are the basic of many arrow poisons. The best interesting part to be noted is that, saponins have always been toxic to cold-blooded creatures like snake and/or fish.
Recent studies have illustrated saponins' effects which have been beneficial on the control of blood cholesterol levels, bone health, cancer, and building up of the immune system. Saponin is not only as synergist but it is also a combination of aromatic aldehyde which is a natural product, this provides a control of the colonization as well as the growth of animal pathogens, such as arachnids, insects, fungi and non-aquatic mollusks and plants. This is used during, before and after the processing of agricultural plants. To kill nematodes, employment of saponin is also being provided.* You can also use it on your pets to kill parasites and around your home... This liquid soap solution can be used for washing pet's fur and skin as this removes parasites leaving the pet clean, soft and protected from any further infestations. This is an effective and economical household cleaner that cleans inside and outside of the house including kitchen and bathrooms, as well as the car...natural pesticide, to repel insects. It is allergy free and is especially beneficial for babies and children who have a sensitive skin. People suffering from allergies and those who are suffering from dermatitis will be benefited if they use the liquid soap solution prepared from saponin.Among its benefits, saponin can also cure eczema. The anti-microbial and antibacterial properties of saponins have made them an important part and particle of human existence. Jeany ;D ;D..what's up with censoring the word N U T....S....?? Kamster let's put some dots in between..LOL

Apoptosis of HeLa Cells - Nigella sativa en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigella_sativaNigella sativa is an annual flowering plant, native to southwest Asia. It grows to 20–30 cm (7.9–12 in) tall, with finely divided, linear (but not thread-like) leaves. The flowers are delicate, and usually coloured pale blue and white, with 5–10 petals. The fruit is a large and inflated capsule composed of 3–7 united follicles, each containing numerous seeds. The seed is used as a spice. In English, Nigella sativa seed is variously called fennel flower, nutmeg flower, Roman coriander, blackseed, black caraway, or black onion seed. Other names used, sometimes misleadingly, are onion seed and black sesame, both of which are similar-looking but unrelated. The earliest written reference to N. sativa is thought to be in the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament where the reaping of nigella and wheat is contrasted (Isaiah 28: 25, 27). Easton's Bible dictionary states that the Hebrew word ketsah refers to without doubt to N. sativa (although not all translations are in agreement). According to Zohary and Hopf, N. sativa "was another traditional condiment of the Old World during classical times; and its black seeds were extensively used to flavor food." History of Medicine Nigella sativa has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries, both as a herb and pressed into oil, in Asia, Middle East, and Africa. It has been traditionally used for a variety of conditions and treatments related to respiratory health, stomach and intestinal health, kidney and liver function, circulatory and immune system support, as analgesic, antiinflammatory, antiallergic, antioxidants, anticancer, antiviral and for general well-being. In Islam, it is regarded as one of the greatest forms of healing medicine available. Muhammad (S.A.W.) once stated that the black seed can heal every disease—except death—as recounted in the following hadith: [Sahih Muslim : Book 26 Kitab As-Salam, Number 5489] Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu) reported that he heard Allah's Messenger as saying: Nigella seed is a remedy for every disease except death. Narrated Khalid bin Sa'd R.A:We went out and Ghalib bin Abjar R.A was accompanying us. He fell ill on the way and when we arrived at Medina he was still sick. Ibn Abi 'Atiq came to visit him and said to us, "Treat him with black cumin. Take five or seven seeds and crush them (mix the powder with oil) and drop the resulting mixture into both nostrils, for 'Aisha (R.A.) has narrated to me that she heard the Prophet saying, 'This black cumin is healing for all diseases except As-Sam.' 'Aisha (R.A.) said, 'What is As-Sam?' He said, 'Death.' " (Bukhari) [Sahih Muslim : Book 26 Kitab As-Salam, Number 5490] Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger as saying: There is no disease for which Nigella seed does not provide remedy."

www.ehow.com/facts_5406138_side-effects-saponins.htmlSaponins bind with cholesterol and other pathogens, which blocks them from being absorbed by the body and carries them through the body's digestive system allowing them to be eliminated. In this way, these phytochemicals reduce cholesterol levels, and by eliminating the other harmful pathogens from the body they relieve stress on the body's immune system, allowing it to operate more efficiently. Other studies have shown that saponins in the diet can provide the following benefits for humans: • Lowering cholesterol levels • Reduced cancer risk • Boosts the immune system • Reduction in bone loss • Antioxidant • Relieves skin allergies and eczema There are some ongoing scientific studies that will continue to look at the many healthful benefits of saponins including its antioxidant and potential cancer-fighting properties.

Apoptosis of HeLa Cells - Hydrogen Peroxide We've heard many proclaim the benefits of 33% Hydrogen Peroxide on their lesions? Of course, to anyone who is very sick with the various aspects of Morgellons disease, please use common sense in trying any of our methods listed here. Herxing can kill you!
We purchased a Nigella sativa supplement and oil today based on the information that we read. It appears that certain cultures have been using this herb/spice since Bible times and we're wondering about the demographics of the countries that use this herb and if Morgellons disease or the numbers that has been reported in these countries? We are believing that their numbers are possibly low and could be because they use this spice regularly?
(Buying it in supplement form is probably unnecessary, possibly just eating the seeds or crushing them into a powder and mixing the powder with an oil is just as good, or better?)

We have to have faith that by killing the cell in which the viruses, fungi, bacteria, baculovirus, etc. are dwelling - that we also eliminate these pathogens in the process!
We will continue trying these (mostly) natural methods and keep reporting back.
We're putting our ideas here based on countless hours of research for all to try. It would be idea if others tried these methods also and reported your results?

Before I shut up here, I wanted to also mention far infrared light. I purchased a lamp and used it for two days in a row - I noticed a difference in my ear lesion changing, drying up after 1 day of use for approximately 15 minutes.
Unfortunately, I dropped the lamp and broke the light bulb... I think this needs further investigating - I'm thinking that far infrared light might also be beneficial to combating Morgellons disease lesions, as some have reported. The wavelength is the longest in the spectrum, it might even penetrate deep into the organs?
The lamp that I found was very inexpensive at $10 Euro...

Far infrared is excellent and has been discussed here for years. Some have used a single light like yourself. We have a Far infrared Sauna which garners excellent results. Sauna technology has improved and advanced over the years. Far infrared being the coolest and deepest penetrating. The technology behind emitters has also advanced. Research your options. Their are statements out there indicating XXX is the only technology worth investing in and not to waste a cent on any other. IMHO ...... if anyone indicates the product they promote is the only one to invest in, it is a 'sales pitch' red flag. If money was never an issue I would jump on the top of the line technology, but most of us can not afford those luxuries. The health benefit research behind sauna's goes way back in history, should not be dismissed and is the core basis of sauna therapy today. I agree, you must be an informed consumer before making a purchase because you can easily fall prey. When we purchased our sauna carbon emitters were not in the forefront and research was ongoing. All I can say is we are very pleased with what we have and don't plan on replacing it. What was important to us at the time was a healthy sauna environment with the healthiest woods and construction without toxic glues and chemicals. The bargains in this area should be evident with the latest advancements bringing other prices down.
