Toni,
I don't know about feline hyperthyroidism...
...but our house is a big giant dustbowl. I don't matter how much I vacuum (with a water-filtered Rainbow) or how much I wipe the furniture with vinegar/water with a rag. We even had a very expensive whole-house filter installed with our air-conditioner. We had out a/c ducts cleaned. Etc Etc Etc.
Now we have more dust than before! It's everywhere.
After a couple of days you can write your name on any horizontal surface. The drapes get dusty. The bedding is dusty. And we don't even have a dog anymore!
Of course the dust gets into our lungs, and it makes our eyes feel all fibery.
There's gotta be a solution to this mess. Do you know of any?

Here's another similarity:
M.M.S. cures malaria, and M.M.S. is now being recommended also to treat Morgellons.

This came out of KJ's skin where she has a lesion (on her back). Her skin has been itching like crazy for the past week. Last night it was really bad. She put on some aloe... then she put on some vinegar... then she put on some peppermint enzyme. Nothing really worked to aleviate the itching. She took some of the debris that came out of her skin and put it under the microscope. Funny, at first glance it looked like a bouquet of flowers. Then also down on the bottom right, that part reminds me of algae that grows on the reefs around here. So what is this? Plant... algae... crystals.... or what?

Querido "vino-del-cielo",
Gracias por tu nota. Mi tendienza es a ser un poco negativo y pesimista. Pero en estos dias estoy tratando de ser mas positivo y ver el vaso "mitad-lleno". Felicidades!

I'm an immigrant to this country. I came to America from Cuba at age eleven. And I'm thankful to be here.
And I'm thankful that I can choose to fly an American flag in front of my house. (And no, I don't wear rose-colored glasses... and yes, I know this country ain't perfect.)
But in spite of all that, from my heart I am grateful to be a naturalized American citizen, and there's absolutely no hidden agenda when I wish all of you a happy independence day. Hugs all around.

Toni-Sue,
I surely remember your earlier post about all the black specks in the food. We continually find the same stuff e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e.
We also find it in papergoods like paper towels, paper plates, and toilet paper. It's disgusting.
KJ went to a high-end store last weekend to try to find some underwear. She though surely at a store like the Nordstrom, clothing would be "safe". Well, not so. Black specks all throughout. KJ brought it to the salesgirl's attention. She'd never noticed it and was visibly shaken by all the crud.
It doesn't matter if you go to K-Mart or Saks Fifth Avenue. This junk is everywere. We've been invaded.

Hi godog, I'm excited for ya. It seems you were working for a "wicked landowner" and now your inner prayers have been answered. A giant page has just turned in your life. And now since we know that all things work together for good for those who love god... (Rom 8:28) I can't help but say AMEN and may the Lord bless the next chapter of your life with much joy.

Silverangel, This is another specimen. Probably the same type (pantry beetle) that I posted earlier. We've found these all throughout our house. The guy from TERMINIX says they came in with some groceries. Like in a box of pasta. That's a nice assumption, but believe me, we examine everything that comes into this house as if it contained anthrax. And we put that kind of thing in tupperware containers in the freezer. The really disturbing part is that we have found those little beetle wing covers (technical name is: elytra) in KJ's stool... many times. She's not eating beetles!!! So, what are we to think? Somehow they're inside her? Makes no sense, but in our world there are a lot of things that are mysterious to other people. Well, you know what I'm talking about?

Skytroll: Not to hijack your train of thought here... because I do believe that ethnicity plays a role with regards do many diseases. But, what about gender?
One thing that's always struck me is the disproportionate ratio of females-to-males.
What would you say? 90-to-10? 95-to-5? Maybe even 99% females to 1% males who have Morgellons? Is that a realistic ratio? At least on this board, it would certainly seem so.
Would it be safe to say that there are overwhelming numbers of females that have Morgellons, as compared to males? I don't know what that means, but the sheer number has to be significant. What do you think? Hormones?

Silverangel: Does this look like your "anteater beetle"? (Its head is towards the left... abdomen to the right) If so, it's a pantry beetle.

I want to thank everyone for your comments on the whole ozone thing. Thus far, I'm not getting a very positive picture of these generators. Maybe I ought to wait and do more research before spending more money (unecessarily). I sure don't want to add anything toxic to our home environment. As to the menthol suggestions: Absolutely YES. For quite a while we've been putting mentol crystals on plug-in type warmers in various rooms of our house. We get the crystals from www.mountainroseherbs.com at $34.00 per pound. These are the absolute best. We've also recently started making little sachets of menthol pellets (these are specially designed to kill off mites in beehives) from www.mannlakeltd.com at $17.60 per pound. So, thanks jwf and justhanginin for your good reminder.

The "MMS" stuff doesn't work until you add an "activator" to it. The activator recommended is citric acid (or the juice of certain citrus fruits - like limes).
The directions sound a little complex. You have to combine a certain amount of drops of MMS and a certain amount of drops of citric acid. Let it stand for 3 minutes. Then you empty those contents into a glass of water and drink it.
I'm still not sure how many drops of MMS we're going to start with. One report calls for 15 drops, but that's for treating malaria. (Which is supposed cured 100% by this stuff).
However, using too many drops can make you feel nauseus.. or have vomiting... or have diarrhea. So, I've been told to start with a low amount and slowly increase drops until your body reacts properly. I guess everybody's body is different so a little bit of experimentation is necessary.
Truth be told, I'm not looking forward to taking something that'll make me sick to my stomach. But, if the end-result is worth it, then a little nausea is ok.

mfromthenorthcountry:
Me and the missus bought the stuff and are going to start on it tomorrow. I'm still not sure how many drops it'll take before we start making mad dashes to the w.c. Will advise how we do with it.... if it works... or not.
Are you thinking of trying it too? If so, maybe you could share your experiences here on the board later on. I'd be interested in reading from another brave soul.

Hello all,
Thinking about getting an ozone generator.
I'd really appreciate your thoughts, suggestions, etc., on this subject.
Is it worth getting? Does it help? How do you use it? Any model you recommend?
Very appreciative for your comments.

Yea, Jerry Butler is a real kind person. Actually the Univ of Florida Dept of Entomology, and their other branch "IFAS" - Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences is one of the two best schools in this country for Entomology (the other one is Purdue). I've sent dozens of samples and/or digital photos to their researchers. Normally they reply with the most amazing decorum and courtesy. Bill Kern (email: whk@ufl.edu) and Tom Fasulo (email: fasulo@ufl.edu) are excellent resource persons to get your "bugs" identified. Faith Oi (email: foi@ufl.edu) is their resident expert on beetles. Cynthia Lord (email: clord@ufl.edu) specializes in tick-borne diseases. I wouldn't hesitate to use any of these people as resources for your bug questions. They'll give you a correct identification. Just realize that they'll tell you each and every time, that " bugs can't live inside people".... (we know better).

Cyn, I know this is absurd... but... the first thing that went through my mind when I saw those complex designs on your last pix was an electronic circuit board. I know, that's just crazy.

Here in South Florida we don't have the same type fireflies as you have further North. But we do have some really awsome lightning bugs called "click beetles". These bugs have two huge glowing lights on their head and another bioluminescent organ in the tail. They don't blink on-and-off like fireflies do. Their light stays "on" and it actually intensifies when they get excited. It's always been fun to go outside just after dusk and watch these insects flutter around the shrubs in our backyard. Last year there were very few of them. This year we only saw one... and it was dead.

OK guys... now you're telling me that tomatos are out also? Can't eat these beautiful angelic veggies? What's left? Is brown rice the only thing that's safe? This world is a sick place!

Now y'all sound like those famous poets from Liverpool:
"I am he, as you are he, as you are me, and we are all together..." (I am the Walrus, Lennon/McCartney)
